“Went on a whim last night because I heard it was open. Didn't know what to expect, but I'm happy with what I found. The space is very nice and comfortable, plenty of space between tables and a great looking long bar/lounge area. Started off with cocktails, one they call a smoking daiquiri, which was very good but could have used a bit more smoke. Another was the French martini, with pineapple and raspberry, a bit sweet for me but liked by my company. I started with the gruyere cheese puffs, which were nice and light, and probably would also be a good dessert with a little fig jam. I tried the onion soup which is rich and delicious with a great hunk of cheese on top. The pork schnitzel is excellent, tender and delicious with a perfect crust of breading. Accompanied by an outstanding local dark wheat bock, which I believe is seasonal but would be good any time of year. Looking forward to going back and trying out the other cocktails and talking a few pictures. By the way the prices, especially for food and drink of this caliber are very reasonable. Skip the NYC traffic and have a great dinner here.”

People hating are probably the same ones that just like to go to the quiet old fashioned Italian restaurants that are on every corner in Bergen County. “I've been here a couple of times. The owner is enthusiastic about his dishes in the best way. Authentic Vietnamese food with the owner as a guide to explain what everything is. I've enjoyed everything I've had including the garlicky chicken wings, white peach oolong tea, spicy Malaysian curry, the beef bowl, etc. The atmosphere is great. The owners are very personable. “I've been living in North Arlington for over ten years. I always passed this deli, but never stopped in. Gave it a try while waiting for my daughter to come out from school. It was really, really good. I tried the chicken parm the first time, and then an Italian sub and sausage and peppers the next visit. Everything was terrific. They have everything behind the counter so you can pick and choose what you like and everything looks like they just made it. It is a dollar or two more than a traditional pizza / Italian deli, but it is so worth it. I never mind spending an extra dollar or two on quality. The girl behind the counter was also pleasant and friendly. Can't wait to try everything else. UPDATE - Specials seem to be updated daily on their Facebook page, including pictures. They update their page it seems daily and even have videos of them baking and cooking in the back. Highly recommended!!”

“A big perk of this place is that it's almost never crowded, which is convenient in a mall with an always-full food court. The food is pretty good, and people were very satisfied with their orders in the groups I was with. This being said, you could find better Japanese food in the area for a better price if you wanted to. But if you're in the mall and craving Japanese food, I would recommend Tojo's.”

“Updating this review after eating here a few times, wanted to note that the salads are really pretty delicious and filling/satisfying even to someone who is used to steak and potatoes. Everything pretty fresh, you can build your own salads if you prefer, staff are friendly/accommodating/polite. Most salads served on healthy grains or cauliflower rice, most have protein options like chicken, shrimp. some healthy drink options like natural lemonade that is not overly sweet, unsweetened iced tea drinks, that sort of thing. The ambience is fine, music not too loud, seats comfortable. I'm thrilled to have a satisfying healthy place to eat.”

“This place is relatively new and it was hosting a school fundraiser so I decided to take my sons there. The place was relatively clean and the staff was polite. I had the lamb burger with round French fries. It was fairly tasty. We also had chicken wings which very very good. The cashier gives you a cup so the drinks are self serv.
