“Today was our first visit to Popeye’s and I give it a 5 star because of one of the managers named Dylan and the excellent service he provided after a terrible experience we had in the drive thru line with another customer. Dylan had witnessed the incident and came to my car and asked me to pull in a parking spot and he would get our order and give us the food because of what he saw take place. I thought it was so nice of him to do this for us. He didn’t have to offer such a nice gesture but I really appreciate it! The food was also great! My family and I had the original chicken sandwich combos and we all thought they were delicious! Thank you again Dylan and May God Bless you!”

“This Starbucks was very convenient to the airport. We were a couple of hours early to my flight from Asheville regional airport and we decided to stop. The Starbucks is a stone throw away from AVL. The service was great and the coffee was amazing as usual. Maybe even better since we were in the mountains enjoying a hot brew. Only down side would be is leaving out of Starbucks there is a giant hill your car has to climb before pulling out. If there is ice or snow I would recommend to find another way out. It’s that steep of a hill.”

“I have had so many great times at this restaurant/bar. It's always immaculately clean and their menu has the perfect amount of choices to select from, pizza, beer, etc. They have a lovely selection of local craft beers on tap and usually run specials for each day of the week in regards to food and/or drinks. The serving staff and bartenders are personable and friendly, and are always helpful with inquiries regarding their menu. The environment is comfortable and welcoming and it has become a regular staple for Asheville residents and employees of surrounding restaurants and businesses. I give Brixx a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Best pizza and beer around!”

“Food was good. Unfortunately, they lose points for not being more flexible with seating. We had 4 adults and 2 children, who all fit in a booth, but the manager informed us we would have to split between tables because of our party's size. I understand the logic, but this is waffle house. A family should be able to sit together if can be reasonably accomplished. It's not like we're going to blow the ambiance.”

“Luella's was on my list of places to try while we were in Asheville! I read on a website that they're generally Celiac friendly. At first when I asked our waiter if they had a gluten free menu, he said there wasn't and they don't have gluten free bread... And nothing else. I tried to figure out the menu on my own. And then when the waiter came back I explained that I needed a little more information than that and sent him to the kitchen with a list of questions to make sure I could eat there safely. He double checked my meal, the seasoning, the sauce, and the sides. What started out as slightly frustrating turned into a good experience once I explained my need for detailed allergen information. The turkey breast is absolutely delicious and I would definitely eat there again.”

“On a Fri afternoon at 4:45, while on my way to REI, I saw the little sandwich boar sign which advertised 29 taps, so I turned in and was not disappointed! As soon as I walked in and sat at the bar, Matt cam around and was so friendly and answered all of my beer questions knowledgeably. I had a great experience tasting a couple of different kinds before making my selection for a pour. He was happy to hear his advertising had worked to get me in so I want to help spread the word for folks to stop in, there is something for everyone! One of the taps was Matt's persona brew- it was complex & absolutely delicious dessert beer. I look forward to trying more of his brews in the future!”
