“We really like the lucky 12 Tavern. We were here several years ago, and really loved the funky vibe of the interior. There are tons of items to look at and explore. Service was pretty quick, and the food was standard American fare. We we're particularly happy with the Buffalo wings. The lucky 12 is conveniently located, and we came out on a very rainy night at the end of the season. The hostess who seated us was oddly silent / rude, but we enjoyed our meal nonetheless.”

“This place is super cool! The style is great and the cashier was nice. There was a little confusion on the app for me, but the cashier helped me. It was fast and good. I loved my bagel, except that it had a little bit to much cream cheese. The location is convenient for me and the parking was great. There are so many options, which I’m sure are all good, and Waveriders Coffee & Deli is probably one of my favorite bagel places on the beach! I definitely recommend this place to people who are looking for a good bagel on a nice shiny morning at OBX!”

“My husband and I went in to check out this market. The young lady at the counter was extremely nice and offered for me and my husband to try some of the food before purchasing. Even though I do not eat any seafood whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone that does to stop in. Very laid-back atmosphere, very kind employees, and exceptional service. Will definitely return when we come back to the Outer Banks to vacation for me personally to say hello and for my husband to get more seafood.”

“We sent on a Saturday and the man at the counter said they do pizza only due to the volume of orders on the weekend. Many people left when they realized they couldn't order a sub. The pizza was good but the place was a bit dirty. Tables were sticky and floors had not been swept. Also...do not go here to get out of the heat. No shades on the windows meant you cooked in your booth while you ate.”

“We visited on a Tuesday evening. Our food was delicious and unbelievably fresh. Even the kids thought everything was great and were raving afterwards! “I never have a complaint when I go to the Tropical Smoothie in the Nags Head outlet, I get coupons regularly and they give local discount which is a rarity on the Outer Banks, the young lady who waits on me most times I go in is Allie' and she goes above and beyond to be helpful, kind and because of my health issues, there is much I cannot eat, but I was able to find a wrap that I changed up to practically a new wrap, lol" and she did with no problem and now has made it whenever I can go in, and she always remembers my order, and how I need it. Now that is 5*star customer service, thanks Allie ' bathroom's are clean, and they are quick to get order out, with the tourist season upon us, I know it will be more hectic but they have a loyal customer with this guest""...”

“Some of the best seafood I've had anywhere! I'm from Elizabeth City, so I am very familiar with the Outer Banks, and I currently live in San Diego. While back on vacation, I stopped in the local favorite and it did not disappoint! The fresh blackened swordfish was superb, my grandmother ordered the stuffed flounder and it was delectable, even our kids loved their kids meals! Great times were had by all and the service was fast and friendly as well. Can't wait to go back.”

“Outstanding! Even in the off season, we had a wait (about 15 minutes), but it was well worth it. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Philly cheese steak egg rolls were good, but the grilled haddock on cheezy grits was exceptional. My wife had the steak burger and really enjoyed it - cooked exactly as ordered. And the key lime pie was the perfect finish. Definitely one of our go-to restaurants in the Outer Banks from now on!”

“Pigman's was an excellent experience in customer service, flavor, and cleanliness. They've been a popular local destination to eat for years, and I can see why. My wife and I both got the Beezy sandwich. Pulled pork, white cheddar, homemade mac and cheese, zesty white Alabama sauce, and crispy house fries on a brioche bun, also known as delicious. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming from the person taking order to the bus boy. Even the bathroom was impressively well cleaned despite it being the lunch hour rush. They earned their five stars.”

“Best food I’ve ever eaten. Went and enjoyed everything. First we were given Hush Puppies which are good no matter what, but these were by far one of the best things I’ve ever had to eat. Then the Hangover Roll came in to make me question everything I’ve ever known about sushi. It HAS BACON. And the bacon is fabulous. It’s is the perfect combination of flavors. The calamari was yummy. It needed more lemon and the marinara was a little rich as a serving sauce (regular cocktail sauce would’ve been better) but that didn’t stop us from eating all of it in less than 5 minutes. The stuffed flounder disappeared from my boyfriend’s plate before I could even try any, but my cheese covered Miller style scallops were good enough. The fries were good. The OBX lemonade is a large glass of danger but still yummy! Try this place and make sure Hush Puppies make it onto your table. You won’t regret it.”

“Stack 'em High Pancakes: This place is great! Good quality. They get you through the line quickly...then food delivered rapidly. Orders correct.
