“The food here was so so good. I am not a foodie and my wife just said, "I have NEVER seen you react to food that way." I had to stop and put my fork down to properly savor my entree. The chef is a genius.”

“Very good chicken...love breakfast filets... A little too expensive for me to give it five stars though... Working at the mall discount would be nice too...”

“A nice, hole-in-the wall place in the University Mall. This is the Village Burger that I ordered, which the chef recommended. A single, 1/3-pound grilled beef patty topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, red onions, and light mayo on a toasted bun. Got it as a combo, with fresh-cooked fries and a root beer. Fantastic! Only spent about $9, and it was very filling. Will definitely come here for lunch, most days.”

“The tacos were extremely good and there was a wide variety of filling options. I recommend the swordfish taco and the cauliflower taco. The service was great and the wait time was very low. The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the alcohol prices, which were high to say the least. I’d definitely go back to Bartaco though!!”

“Alfredo's is a great place to get New York style pizza. The owner is originally from New York City. The pizza is available either as a whole pie or, one can order by the slice. There are salads and other Italian dishes available if someone in the group is not a pizza fan. The outside patio is a delight when the weather is Pleasant.”

“A bit pricey but come on, all you have to do is sit down and the will bring everything to you. Just arrive a few minutes before the movie to allow enough time for ordering. Worked great with my 4 year old and food was tasty!”

“Delicious! My husband and I came here for date night. We were recommended by a colleague of mine. I was not disappointed. The food was awesome and the portions were generous. Charles was our waiter and he was super friendly. The decor in the restaurant was very cool and modern. Overall my husband and I had a great experience”

“Took my Mom you Squid's for her 81st birthday. I've been here before but it was several years ago and frankly not very memorable. Well they've definitely stepped up their game because I'll definitely be remembering it going forward! A great selection of fresh seafood to choose from. All nicely prepared, well portioned, with a good presentation. Oysters on the half-shell, live lobster, crab legs (they were out of these tonite...sadly), sea scallops, and a broad selection of fish. I actually ordered a steak which was delicious accompanied by my scallops! They were very accommodating to special requests and attentive to food allergies without missing a beat. Service was attentive without being overbearing. And the prices are very reasonable. An excellent choice for a casual seafood dinner. Squid's will definitely be on the regular rotation for us!”

“My wife and I went in on a Thursday AM there was only one other guy inside. The service was fairly good, food was fairly fast . The mocha frappe had not taste at all, just ice water, with whipped cream on top and some chocolate syrup. My wife asked for bacon on her crisssandwich , but got sausage. Both no big deal for a fast food place. I filled out the survey online on the receipt for a free Whopper. It took 7 minutes, got the code , but you have to buy a drink and a side to get the coupon NOT WORTH IT!!”

“Compared to other B. Goods (both in state and elsewhere), I found the service exceptionally slow all three times that I've been here. That said, there's plenty of seating, the food is good, and the bathrooms are clean. No matter how much you dress it up this kind of food is fast food, so it shouldn't come out at the pace of a sit-down restaurant, particularly when we were basically the only ones there.”

“This place was amazing 20 years ago and still is great. I've been hoping to get back to Chapel Hill and come back. Much of Franklin Street has changed since then but Cosmic is still in the same alleyway with the same basic layout and same general menu. The food is still a great value though the prices have crept up. The portions are plentiful and everything is delicious.”

“Made a reservation to eat here and was put in the very back at a messy table. Took 20 minutes and multiple reminders from us before a server came over to assist us. No apologies for the wait. Food service was slow, but once the food arrived it was pretty good. Took another while for us to get our check and pay because we kept getting forgotten back in our little corner. Probably won’t eat here again.”

“Great place to eat and drink. My hubby is big on beer and I like a good virgin cocktail, which this place have both of those things in abundance. The appetizer with the house kettle chips is great, and the dishes we got were delicious as well. Plus they have very spacious roof top patio with the best view of the area. Oh and it's not too expensive, which is a great bonus ????”

“We got buy one customized pizza get one free coupon at the event of Near and Far and decided to give it a try. Turned out a wonderful experience! The pizza dough was nice and thin, but they baked it to perfection, a bit crispy around the edge and soft enough to fold it. Just the way I like it! They offered a lot of different cheese and toppings and dressing and sauce to choose from. I say it's a pizza heaven to us! Will be back again for their pizza and those flavored beer that I missed today.”

“We always go to Panera bread for lunch and everytime we enjoy ourselves. However, this was our first breakfast and it was to die for. I highly recommend getting the avocado egg white sandwich, it was delicious. Not to mention the servers were extremely kind, helpful and enthusiastic given the early hours. We definitely will not just be returning for lunch anymore, but for breakfast as well.”

“High end steakhouse located in Chapel Hill that is the best steakhouse in area in my opinion. Number of choices on cuts plus a few seafood and other options like duck or pork chop. With any steak you get a choice of sauce or can order oscar. Great appetizer list and a number of salad choices as well. Food is all amazing. Service is outstanding. Physical space is kept on darker side with a number of wrap around booths around the edges and tables in middle. Bar area is very popular and features high end cocktails as well as wine and beer. You can eat in bar as well. Overall, just a really outstanding steakhouse and experience.”

“Wow! Great new restaurant from Brandon Sharp that can be whatever type of restaurant you need it to be: a bar, a lounge, neighborhood restaurant or upscale dining experience. Great craft cocktails, wonderful wine and beer list and a stunning bar. Sleek dining room and there must be some soundproofing since it's not nearly as loud as many of the restaurants in the Triangle which is a big flaw that Greg Cox regularly ignores. Food is eclectic with many small plates and some interesting mains. The execution of the food is spectacular and the flavors and textures are bold. Service is attentive without being overbearing and is excellent. Parking is easy in the parking deck. Our new favorite since the unfortunate closing of The Lakewood.”

“I've been ordering frequently from Brenz for 3 years. The pizza is cut in little squares and triangles which actually makes it easier to eat. The wings aren't bad. They're baked which is good but a little inconsistent with the hot sauce. If you request a little extra they'll do that without going overboard.”

“Waitstaff pleasant and polite. Food is inventive but some dishes could have been more subtle in their flavorings. Excellent wine list with some good values to be found. A top tier restaurant for the area.”

“The service at this Subway was superb! Kim, the manager, greated every costumer as they came in the restaurant. While she was helping the costumers she was teaching her new employee, Adarius, how to make and explain the sandwiches. She had previously explained the "new clubs" to the client in front of me. When my turn came, she explained them again. I went with one of the club's that she recommended and it was amazing/out if this world! Both Adarius and Kim made my visit go smoothly and enjoyable. I definitely recommend this Subway. On top of everything, it was a very clean place, bathrooms were tidy, and eating areas spotless. Thanks for such a great experience! On 4/24/19 at around 2pm”

“More like a 4.5. Was there for son's grad dinner. Great setting with lovely settings given the history of the site. Food variety was v good and so was wine selection. The price was a little steep and that's why the 0.5 short.”

“Bottom of Lenoir has some of the most popular best dining options on campus. Top of Lenoir, the dining hall, has some of the worst food on campus. Chase Dining Hall has better tasting dining hall food. However, if you're looking for a quick bite between classes, Bottom of Lenoir is your best and quickest choice. The staff for CDS are also some of the nicest people on campus.”
