It was a gorgeous day so I decided to walk here to grab lunch and eat it outside, well I think the entire city of Raleigh had the same idea, plus it was spring break so all the parents with kids were there... well this location was JAM PACKED BONKERS BUSY. It was a total zoo! But the workers didn’t seemed phased and they all had smiles on their faces! Such great attitudes under all that pressure! Shout out to the whole staff. I wish I could remember all their names but they didn’t stand still long enough for me to read their name tags. Jenna took my order and Mario was slinging to go bags like nobody’s business! Such great costumer experience, great job y’all!!!”

“Really good hamburgers. My wife's favorite place for a burger. Made to order with lots of topping offerings. Order the small fries, because you cannot eat all of the regular size fries. Free shelled peanuts while you wait for your burger, and not a very long wait. And don't buy a double burger unless you're really really hungry. The only downside is that they don't sell beer.”

“Totally a great place to have tacos, ambiance, decor, service, food, quality of food, location, but above all flavors!!! These tacos are delicious, fresh ingredients! The only suggestion would be to serve them with double tortilla, so if the first one gets all soggy from the salsa they put on, then the second tortilla would make it easier to eat them, rather than scoop them. Overall a wonderful experience and happy bellies!”

“The pizzas are so good! First time we came here, husband got the deep dish... loved it, just wished it had more sauce, but that can be easily fixed. Came here for a second time, and we have been here for an hour waiting. They aren’t even busy like they were the first time we came here. And they also “lost” our pizzas...... so now we will be here for another 15-20 minutes...... the staff did not seem too concerned that they “lost” our pizzas, so that is upsetting. We had a great first experience and this just killed it. They did give us a refund, so that’s a positive.”

I always order their crab ragoon and pork dumplings, SO TASTY! I don’t normally eat sushi, but I tried a piece of my boyfriend’s firecracker sushi, and it was so good! Definitely spicy hot (given the name)! They have a great drink selection as well!”

“First of all, I HAVE to brag on our server, Paul. Paul was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable about the menu, made wonderful recommendations, had a great personality and was very attentive without being invasive. Thank you Paul! Second, the atmosphere was fantastic. North Hills really needed a fluid indoor/outdoor dining option. And the decor was very interesting while still being light and casual. Finally, the food was on point. The fried green tomato appetizer topped with pimento cheese was delicious. The green tomatoes were very tender, fried lightly and the cheese was tangy and in perfect proportion. For entrees we chose the shrimp and grits and seared scallops. The taste was very balanced. I most appreciated the quality of the seafood as I feel that’s somewhat lacking in Raleigh. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and Paul especially!!!!”

I first was introduced for a business lunch where I got a turkey club which was amazing and the largest side salad known to man. Recently I returned for Restaurant Week. The place was hustling and bustling as Restaurant Week truly brings out the crowds. There was a little bit of a wait although I made a reservation, but no more than 7-10 minutes.”

“Went for Mother’s Day brunch - first visit - and had a great time. More importantly my mother did. This is a restaurant and staff that truly know how to handle occasions without making you feel rushed or like a burden on them. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Service was attentive but not overbearing and at no time did we feel rushed. The food was fabulous. I had shrimp and grits, my mother had the crab omelette and my wife the lamb sausage hash. After our main dishes we shared their house made donuts and had coffee. Everything was delicious. If I lived in Raleigh, I would go more often.”
