“Came here on a whim one night and was not disappointed! My friend and I shared the chashu onigiri appetizer and the takoyaki, which were both delicious. I then ordered the Yamazaki special ramen — the broth was so rich and flavorful! I only wish they would have given a bit more broth in the bowl, as the noodle-to-broth ratio was somewhat off. Otherwise, I had a very enjoyable meal and look forward to returning!”

Sexy fries comes in the signature giant portions with more holindase than plate. Always crispy and hearty. Only con was watching waitresses/waiters try and fluff up a headless beer by aggressively stirring it with a straw at the serivice bar. If it sat too long, just pour a fresh glass. Glasses were always fresh and clean, but often served an iced cold beer in a hot glass that just came out of the dishwasher. Food and cocktails are made with love. Bartenders are very friendly and really enjoy talking about the drinks. No doubt a new weekly hangout.”

“Was execited to check out the restaurant on its first day open to the public. I expected a little bit of disorganization given that fact, but was pleasantly surprised with how well everyone operated - definitely didn't feel like Day 1. Cocktails were creative. Had apps of carpaccio and oysters for and the beef was particularly delicious. For the main course had the 8oz filet with truffle butter + truffle shavings. Accompaniments were wonderful, but the steak itself was one of the better steaks I've eaten. Good char and seasoned perfectly. Had the asparagus, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes for sides and they were all good but a bit standard and pricey for what you got. But again, the steak just really hit the spot. Service was good. Instrumental rap classics in the dining area + live acoustic guitar created a nice ambience. Decor felt like what you'd expect from a high-end hotel restaurant and was nice enough. The exposed brick of the original firehouse gave everything a nice feel. I definitely want to return to hang out in the bar area and to try another steak.”

No sit down service. Got a charcuterie board for $16, pretty good. Great spot for a chill night out, just a bit pricey.”
