“I love steak! I love Korean BBQ. Salt is for anyone who is looking for the highest quality of steak, an amazing Korean BBQ experience, and the best customer service. We recommend their seafood pancake and fried dumplings as a great starters. We tried their tomahawk steak, galbi 갈비, the pork combination. The quality of meat was as good or better than any top steakhouse like Capital Grill or Ruth Chris. You got to try Salt if you are looking for a great steak restaurant. No need to go into the city. This is now our favorite steak and Korean BBQ restaurant. I have been back there for multiple times for lunch and dinner because it’s the best quality and value.”

“I hate to be a negative Nancy, but yesterday my experience was a bit weird due to the particular server who made my bowl. Long story short, I wanted to get the steak bowl. When it was my turn, there was very little left, so I assumed that the server would give me all that's left, or asked me to choose something else, or offered something else--whatever to make it fair/reasonable. Instead, she gave me half of the little that's left. So I ended up having five or six tiny pieces of steak (I circled them out in one of the photos for your reference). I was so shocked and initially didn't say anything, until I saw how much chicken she gave the customer after me. Then I raised my concern. She said she gave me little because there's little left--what a reason! Anyway, she agreed to give me some chicken to mend the situation, which should have been offered to begin with. Enough venting. But the store itself and food itself are very good. That's why I still rate it 4 stars. Compared to their location in the KOP Mall, this Cochy location is really nice as an individual store in the strip mall.”

When our table is filled with luscious curries and noses with heavenly aroma, in the cozy warm dine-in space, we get an instant reboot from whatever cold or bumpy day that hit us. My whole family love this place, esp my middle school boys. We can dial up the spicy level all the way to the authentic hot. The sweet rice and mango lassi drinks balance out the dishes wonderfully. Take-away works smoothly, too. Website easy to read and use, phone call also easy. The owner and crew have such genuine pride and love for the food and culture that gives a warm soul to this place.”

“Went to the restaurant on its grand opening day (Friday) for a dinner buffet. They charged $ 29.99 per adult but gave back a $5 gift card (guess only on that Friday) which can be used later at this buffet. The soft drink was included for this price. The sushi was fresh; the other dishes were OK but varieties were limited, and the taste can be improved a little bit (but still not bad). They used canned pineapple chunk instead of fresh one. And the clam chowder can be improved significantly. Overall, it is a good addition for this area (which does not have too many buffet choices) The biggest disappointment: the crab leg was very salty. I could only try a little bit.”

“A hidden gem on Bala Ave! Everything we had was delicious and fresh. We skew towards vegetarian, and so tried the pinapple cashew fried rice dish and the baked glass noodles with tofu, and both were yummy, flavorful, and comforting. “This place just opened and they have the best Chinese food around! We’ve loved everything we’ve had here. Wonton soup is super tasty. Mango chicken has a sweet mango sauce and served with zucchini, carrots, and fresh pieces of mango. Orange chicken is a nice balance of sweet, spicy, and citrus. My partner likes the sesame chicken. The general tsos chicken is also very good, but it’s more of a sweet chili sauce than the standard general tsos sauce. The best part is that they use all white meat in the chicken dishes which makes them so delicious. Vegetable lo mein was good. Also recommend the spring rolls and pizza rolls for appetizers! Large portions. Easy to order online. Plenty of parking.”

“I’ve known Renato for many years from his great work in other kitchens in Glenside and am very excited he opened his own local shop in the neighborhood — the place looks great, the menu has classic pizzeria items as well as some unique takes. We tried the Chicken Delight pizza as well as the cheese fries — both hit the spot as I knew they would. This is a shop where the owner is the chef, so you know the food will be prepared with more care than some establishments and they will be always trying to improve. Can’t wait to try the other pizzas and menu items! This is a great addition to the neighborhood!”
