Glaringly wrong thing is that their back exit door is locked. This violates not only the law but violates common sense, if there is a fire in front there is no exit in back. They play some oldies music and have seating under the tree, which is draped with Spanish Moss! The atmosphere, staff and food are all superb. Lucy Bells is very laid back and everything is made to order, so please don't rush this experience. The ambience is super relaxing, the service very prompt and personalized and the food certainly worth it. I ordered a grilled catfish with fries. Two people in my party ordered bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp and one person ordered a fried shrimp. Everything was exceptionally good. And neighborhood Marriott guests get a discount too.????”

Everything I tasted was done really well, and I wish we could have tried some of the appetizers, but we were only there for lunch. It's right on the water, they have activities for children on certain days and music in the evenings. They certainly cater to tourists, and the experience is really nice all around, with shops adjacent on the marina. Plus, they're only open until 10, so if you're staying nearby, you won't be bothered by noise.”

“The best thing about Jake's pizza is that they are wonderfully convenient. If you are staying in Sea Pines and need a quick, easy meal this is the way to go. That being said, you should know ahead of time that this convenience, and not great pizza, is what you are paying for. $20 for a large cheese pizza is extremely high compared to most pizza places. The pizza itself is not bad. The cheese and sauce are good. The dough is rolled through a roller rather than being hand tossed, so it is robbed of the texture that you would normally expect of NY style pizza. I could understand their prices more if the pizza was excellent and/or they had a large dine in space resulting in more overhead costs. They are serving ok pizza out of what is basically a large closet with walk up service only. They should be able to do better for the money they are charging. We will order Jake's pizza again but only when we are pressed for time and/or want something easy and convenient.”
