“I’ve always wanted to try this place and i finally did. This is my first visit so the review is based on that. The server was attentive and nice so that was good. I loved the interior of the restaurant it is beautiful!! Very well done. The display of the food is great. The onion rings were good but maybe needed some sauce to dip in or something but was actually a good portion. My burger tasted kinda dry and the beef was smoked so it had a Smokey flavor but still tasted kinda weird and almost “powdery” is the only way i can think of explaining it. So the burger wasn’t great. Maybe it’s organic and stuff not quite sure but eh, kinda regretted getting it. Sweet tea was perfect. Boyfriend didn’t like the flower pot his side salad came in, i thought it was kind of cute but maybe it should be a little bit of a wider vs tall pot. I want to give it four stars cuz of how pleasing everything was to the eye but the food just won’t let me right now. Maybe another time!”

“Very cute little bakery with plenty of sweet treats! The double fudge brownie was delicious, as was the big chocolate chip cookie. Lots of traffic comes through this spot but the staff seems to weave through the crowds quickly. They have a very nice outdoor seating area near a play area for kids. Also, plenty of indoor seating if that is more your pace.”

“Best experience I have ever had! I lived in Vermont for four years. Vermont is a super healthy, all-organic...yay it’s tea time kind of state. I don’t think you could go four miles without bumping into a herbalist or some sort of natural healer. Anyways...tea is life. The Mad Herbalist tea is the best tea I have ever had. The atmosphere is a modern comfy 1800’s cabin tea shop. Super impressed would go back again and again.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful as the elderly gentleman I was with struggled to walk through the door as I was holding him up by rushing to his aid and holding the door until he was safely through and seated. They did the same when we left. One of the employees who was disabled himself made it a point to speak to us and wish us a nice day. “My friends and I go to the Applecake Tea Room quite often as we pass the exit when going to a Ceramic Shop in Lenoir City. We are very pleased and the food is always good. We do wish they would put less broccoli and spinach and more egg in the quiche. Most of the food we have gotten has been good and we love the orange tea. We love to look at all the interesting decor. We don't really consider it a tea room as they have regular restaurant dishes and it isn't decorated as a tea room would be. No fancy porcelain tea pots or cups and saucers. Never the less we like it and will continue to go there.”

“What an adorable place! I love how each booth represents its each individual artist. You can find personalized items as well as gift items and hand crafted wood work pieces. The food is also great and not expensive, I especially love the turkey wrap that they offer. The desserts are to die for. I would strongly recommend stopping by!!!”
