“Had a great experience. Beers were great. Wish there would have been some sort of wait staff to come around to tables. Felt like we had to not only clear glasses but also food packaging and had to go to the bar to get beers. The staff that was there was very nice and did a great job serving us at the bar. So shout out to them. They needed one more person staffed on a Saturday night to help out with customer experience. But great spot and we will be back.”

“I was extremely excited to try this place out since they opened. The chicken sandwich was enormous with exceptional flavors. Spiciness was more mild than hot for me but with the extra sauce I ordered it was fine. I had to remove some of the extra batter as that part was too burnt for my liking. The loaded tots were good. Overall I would definitely try again maybe next time I’ll dine in.”

“Saw this place finally opened and we had to try it out, so I brought my family. The place is nice, and has a huge seating area outside with a palapa. The inside is nice and they have a bar as well. The waitress we got was awesome and had such a good mood, was very attentive and nice with us which made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious and flavorful, the best part was the cafe de olla! Yummy. Will definitely be coming back to try other plates and I recommend this place for sure!”

“Simple Japanese hand rolls with good and fast service. The Brussels sprout was really delicious. Through this restaurant at the back, there used to be a red door to a small cozy hidden bar with lots of Japanese liquor. A nice place to hand out. I had the “Everything lychee” cocktail and it was perfect!”

“I was excited for them to open a Brown Bag Deli on Shepherd! The service was great here and the restaurant was well maintained. As with all of the brown bag delis, the food is great. The sandwiches certainly aren’t the flashiest or most exotic but they are done well at a reasonable price.”

“We've eaten here twice now and I have been blown away by the flavors and service both times. Fans of classic Italian dishes and of classics-with-a-twist are both bound to be happy dining here. Everything is so flavorful, and the stuffed flounder and mushroom tart absolutely melted in my mouth. For a fun ending, try the table side Tiramisu- a fun experience! High-end flavors and dishes, at a surprisingly affordable and accessible price.”

“Stellar experience! Everything we ordered was excellent. Don’t miss the dinosaur bone appetizer! The grilled romaine salad was unusual and tasty. The short rib with the bone was very delicious. We enjoyed the spinach side as well as the fries. Only side we did not enjoy was the loaded mashed potatoes. Basque cheesecake was delivered with a stunning presentation and was light l, creamy, and yummy. They brought out an extra fruit tart for my son’s birthday. Nice touch.”

“I’ve never been to this type of Starbucks before where everything is outdoors. Not gonna lie I think it’s great, because it’s just more peaceful with less people crammed inside a building. This is definitely the place to hang out when the weather is nice, or when the weather is terrible and you want to make it better with a cold or hot drink. The drive-through is there and seems to move pretty quickly, but I really like the outdoor vibe here. This location definitely has a lot going for it and I think it’s one of the best Starbucks in town now.”

“3 stars to be generous. This is not a brick and mortar restaurant. It is a ghost kitchen inside Dean's Cheesecake. I ordered online and could not find the restaurant. The owner did refund my money. If you order please call and verify the location.”

“This was a really great find. Friendly service and amazing food quality as well as big portions. The person attending was super nice and helpful. He knew the menu items well and made some strong recommendations. Even walked around to ensure we didn’t need anything more. Very good service. The menu items are solid with a nice variety. Loved the beans and rice as well as the chips. The portions are huge. Amazing size and abundance of meat / fish with delicious flavor. The Chicken Tinga was juicy and tasty as was the barbacoa. Overall a very strong lunch or evening meal selection. We will definitely pass by again.”

“I can’t believe this place has been under my nose for 33 years and I’m just trying it for the first time! Cozy Italian restaurant with booth and table seating inside plus a small outdoor seating. It’s a walk up order style but the bring the food to your table. Great service. I had the Caesar salad to start. They put carrot shreds in theirs. Interesting, as I’ve never seen carrots in a Caesar salad. It was good. For my meal, I had the Pasta Napoli. A zesty blend of basil sauce with a splash of alfredo sauce & fresh mushrooms. Served over ziti pasta. Bread is served with each dish. We also tried the fried mozzarella. These bad boys were huge! I have never seen mozzarella that big. Very tasty! The atmosphere is charming and the service is terrific! We met the owner, “Papa Zack”. He was very friendly and dubbed his food as “Texas Italy” because the portions are so big. They truly are big. I had 2-1/2 meals off mine. The pizza at other tables looked delicious and I can’t wait to try their soups. Will return soon! Apparently, Papa Zack is adding burgers to the menu. There’s a small space to the right of the main restaurant that will be for burger orders, as best I can tell. If he does Italian food this good and adds burgers, this place will be unstoppable! I will want to try the new addition as well!”

“An exceptional gastronomic experience! We visited this charming restaurant specializing in paellas and pastas and were completely impressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere. Chef Martinez and his team truly outdid themselves with every dish we tried. The paellas were bursting with authentic flavors, and the fresh ingredients made each bite a delight for the palate. Additionally, the pastas were perfectly cooked and paired with sauces that wonderfully enhanced their flavor. What really impressed us was the personal touch that Chef Martinez brings to each dish. You can feel the love and dedication he puts into his cooking, and it shines through in every detail. This restaurant has definitely become one of our favorites. Thank you, Chef Martinez, for an unforgettable culinary experience!”

“After eagerly anticipating its opening, I finally tried The Pit Room for the first time. I opted for a 2-meat plate featuring ribs, brisket, green beans, and corn. The ribs stole the show with their perfectly seasoned pepper coating. While the brisket boasted good flavor, some pieces were a tad too salty, though not as overwhelming as Coopers (Llano). The corn offered a unique and delicious twist, and the green beans had a delightful Pit Room flair. Despite the slight hiccup with the brisket, I would definitely return, especially since it's conveniently located next to Fishing Tackle Unlimited, which adds to the experience.”
