“The burgers and fries were delicious. We sat out back on the deck over looking beautiful lake Champlain. We got our food sooner than expected and even though it was a chilly day to be eating out there the food was hot when it arrived. Only complaint only one girl working out there and we didn’t get napkins or utensils and since the girl working down there was right out straight wiping down tables, moving tables, as well as tending the bar we got up and got our own napkins and managed the burgers and fries with our fingers. Will go back next summer when it’s warm.”

“Wow - what a wonderful place! We had puer and green teas and a five-spice almond cookie while waiting for our takeout order, and it was all really perfect and magical. Great value behind this gem of a restaurant that recently reopened in the old Dio Duende restaurant space on Winooski Ave. Highlights include the congee (like an awesome chicken and brown rice soup with thinly sliced kale, pickled ginger, jammy egg), shaved carrot salad, potato salad with sweet corn, grilled skewers just kissed with the perfect amount of charcoal smoke, and oh, the salmon collars! Salmon collar might not be something that you have had before, but oh wow, you have to try these! Definitely going back soon. So great to see a place really trying out some new flavor combinations at a very reasonable price.”

“Incredible weekend vacation from Boston during COVID times. I mistakenly made a reservation for the day before I planned at another restaurant downtown and didn’t realize until we showed up. I called drifters last minute and they accommodated us outside. Maddy was so lovely and an excellent server, and the food here was delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. I’ve never felt safe enough to go out to dinner outside in Boston, and I felt completely safe here!”

Wait times might be a little high when comparing to the other restaurants, but it's definitely worth waiting. Prices are perfectly reasonable. The food's really delicious,fresh with the actual flavors for that specific food item. Instead of making up dishes and naming them with some random Indian dishes, they actually serve the Authentic Indian food. “I had not been here recently because there is only one person who gets my sandwiches perfect each time. As someone who works in food service I appreciate fast, quality service. Today I waited 15 minutes and watched a potentially new employee completely mess up my food twice and as he was about to leave and hand me the disaster of a sandwich. (Dan) I believe comes in and SAVES the day! He remade my sandwich and made it himself so it came out right! Now I will only get sandwiches from him! Well moral of the story is hire more people like Dan and don’t loose him cause he’s the best you’ve got! And five stars are literally for his thoughtfulness, positivity, and kindness!”

“Love their fresh strawberry cream cheese w/real strawberries! Was there Sat. 9am ordered a dozen & 4 cream cheeses, had to wait 15 mins? It wasn't that crowded. Hadn't been here in a year & I had cash & the sign saying cash only was just in front of the register so I didn't see it until I had ordered so that was a drag. Then they have a container for tips with a bunch of Dollar bills in it! So they can touch that money? The bagels were sadly, a little hard for that time of day, ya can't expect everyone to get there at 7am on a SAT. Aren't you baking all day? I usually love the bagels here, just had to pop them in the microwave to get them a little soft.”
