“Just stopped by after I saw this had opened last week. I am personally accustomed to a more traditional hot pot where you cook the food before eating but this was a very pleasant change! I got the Mala Dipper (spicy) on happy hour special that included a green (or black) iced tea, veggie or pork spring roll and the dipper meal. I was blown away by how delicious and simple the green tea was. Not too sweet, a hint of lavander maybe? and completely refreshing. Honestly some of the best green tea I've ever had. The pork spring roll was just as delicious and the sauce that accompanied it was equally phenomenal! The dipper meal came out in a nice styled hot pot with a timed burning material that burns out after a while so your pot isn't always boiling. A great touch to allow your food to cool down after a period of time. The veggies in the dish were delicious and the broth was the perfect amount of spicy. It seemed like everything in the bowl perfectly accompanied and absorbed the flavor of the broth. Will definitely be coming back to try some more dishes and highly recommend trying.”

“I'm not an expert in dumplings but I definitely know how to eat and I liked these dumplings! I've tried just about all of them by now. The pork and bell peppers are really good. I don't see a huge difference between the pork and shrimp and other pork ones. The basil chicken are also pretty good if you like basil. I'm not a vegetarian but the Buddha's choice are pretty good and more moist and juicy inside. I would recommend pan fried over steamed. Sometimes the steamed ones and soup dumplings stick together too much. I like the complimentary water and hot tea while you wait although the tea does taste pretty diluted and could use a little strengthening up ;) Staff has been nice and polite each time I have visited so far.”

Since I was eating alone I sat at the counter that resembles the old bar and grill counters complete with the record machines. I had a half sandwich /salad combo which was good. “Did the all you can eat hot pot. The buffet gives the standard hot and not hot broth choices, and I was quite pleased with the flavor of both broths. The service was about average, which is fine. The sauce bar had a good amount of choices. The meat was above average quality, sliced thin as expected. I will definitely be coming back. As of this review, $22.95 per adult, children were cheaper.”

“Nice clean place, a bit pricey but they do have nice rooms and an updated touch screen to select your music. I do have to say, that for the prices of the rooms, the rooms themselves are very small. The people there were super nice and they upgraded us from a small room to a medium room at no additional charge. One other plus point is that you get food equal to the price that you are paying for the room. This is a huge plus and probably one of the big reasons for why I would come back here. Overall nice experience, big selection of recent english songs, and decent quality mics as well.”

“Called ahead to reserve a table. Arrived on time and were seated within 10 mins (and in the area, a 10 min wait is amazing compared to typical 45+ min wait times!!) Greeted promptly and ordered drinks. Our waiter went over the specials for the evening, brought us bread, and took our order. Bread and butter was tasty. Food came out sizzling and fresh (fajitas.) Chicken was SO tender and juicy! Well prepared. My friend had the salmon and cleaned her plate! She said it was delicious. Great meal, worth the wait! “My boyfriend and I visited Earl’s during a weekend in Tyson. It was close to our hotel which made it convenient. The decor was nice, there was a bar and some nice random seating for guest whom were just lounging or waiting to be seated at a table. I ordered a Caesar salad and added blackened chicken to it which was delicious. The chicken was moist and had a few crunchy pieces from being cooked. My boyfriend had a salmon bowl which he loved, which is saying a lot because he is very picky. Our waiter was nice and shared in some small talk and the food came out pretty fast. If you are looking for a quiet location this may not be it, because they do play music and accommodate large parties but the food was delicious and customer service was great. I will return.”

“I've been to Eddie Vs in Fort Worth, Texas. Too many times. New Year's Eve was my first time at a different location. I had so much fun! Aesthetically this location is far superior. In a word: modern. The drinks and food was spectacular as is to be expected. The New Year's occasion was particularly impressive: balloon drop at midnight, complimentary champagne toast and dessert bar, and red carpet. I definitely got 2019 off to a good start here at Eddie Vs in the V lounge.”

“I got a poke bowl with quite a few toppings and it was overall bland. The “avocado salad” is mushed avocado - tastes similar to guacamole with cilantro, which I thought was weird for a poke place. My avocado was also a bit brown. I paid an extra $2.50 for the avocado. They did actually give me a LOT of avocado but I’d prefer half the amount for $1.25 honestly. And I do love me some avocado. The tuna seemed fresh but my salmon was a little slimier than I’m used to. I liked the two fish options I got, but they all have names like “Lei’d Up Salmon” with no description, so you don’t know what the seasoning for each protein actually is. I pretty much just picked the protein randomly because of that. The employees were nice enough. I do wish they hadn’t kept asking “anything else?” so quickly after I added every topping - kinda felt like I was being rushed even though there was no one behind me. Overall, I was underwhelmed.”
