“My wife and I stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed. The entrance from Franklin Street is the same door as the Chiropractor. You will need to go down the stairs to find the restaurant. The atmosphere is comfortable & private and the service was very good. The smoked salmon spread was a great way to start. My wife ordered the Susan B and she enjoyed it much. I enjoyed the Pilgrim tremendously. The menu is somewhat limited, but we're hopeful it will grow as time passes. It will definitely be one of my regular stops.”

“I’ve been eating here for years and always considered it average/decent, but they’ve stepped up their game lately. I’ve noticed that the food has that great, almost grilled flavor that you only get with a very hot wok. The vegetables get almost burned on the ends, but they are still almost raw and crunchy. There’s nothing worse than a bunch of soggy vegetables in too much sauce. Keep up the good work, and keep those woks hot!”

“The 3 stars are for staff and presentation. The bar looked pretty cool. We ate outside and thought it was a nice casual atmosphere . The food however was not good. There was absolutely no taste, no flavor to anything....no garlic, no cumin, no spice whatsoever. We were very disappointed. The price of a small margarita was $9.50 ... crazy expensive. We probably wont go again which is too bad because we live in Cedarburg and want to support local eateries, unfortunately this was NOT mexican cuisine.”

I had the Shrimp Scampi with Angel Hair paste -- very nicely prepared. Granddaughter had baked pasta -- what an impressive dish. “Pretty nice spot in downtown Port Washington. Family friendly (they have crayons at the table to color with) and little bread sticks in a cup. My favorite thing about this place was the delicious eggplant fries. I always seek these at every Italian place I go to but sometimes they are soggy. Not at Pasta Shoppe, they are fried to perfection, a perfect crisp. Food otherwise was pretty decent, nothing that shouts amazing.”

If you get a gyro and fries, you definitely will be full. The gyros are packed full of meat and kind of remind me of Oakland Gyros. I've gone here twice now and will continue coming here. “Got to try out quite a few of their types of BBQ opening weekend. The brisket was amazing and nearly melted apart in your mouth. The ribs and rib tips had great flavor and their sauce was original and delicious. All the stuff is made fresh and is made in limited supply so get there early before the dinner rush to make sure you have the largest selection. Only open weekends during the summer for now but they do large orders and they can cater your event too. Glad to have local classic small pit BBQ in a small town.”
