“Amazing bistro. Down to earth, caring staff. I've had the pleasure of personally getting to know the owner as well, and she's truly an amazing soul that cares deeply for her staff and customers. Food is exceptional. Most items are made from scratch (like their amazing gravy), and it's obvious their cooks + kitchen staff CARE! The owner offers free thanksgiving dinner for local families every year, and their wine dinners and special events are truly memorable. Wonderful and essential part of downtown Meridian, hands down.”

“I've been coming to this store since opening, and it's always a delightful experience. The baristas are incredibly pleasant, greeting me with a smile and even remembering my name and my usual drink. The coffee is consistently good, and on the days I treat myself to breakfast or a pastry, it's always fresh and delicious. Today is my second day of stopping in to 'borrow' the wifi and get a little work done before the local library opens and PJ's is an excellent place for a good cup of coffee from friendly people. I have never been one for Starbucks and my recent visits I've had to come to grips with the cost of a boring brand. PJ's is very affordable and as I noted before the coffee is good. I haven't had any of the food so I'm not able to comment.”

They were patient with me and didn’t make me feel rushed at all and gave me all of their recommendations. Also, yes it’s a little pricey… but for a reason. “First time diners. About a 20 minute on Sunday at 11:30 but lasted a little longer due to hostess not inputting the correct phone number. Table service was friendly and efficient however food delivery was quite slow. Now the good stuff...the food was delicious and well prepared. We had the tuna melt and BLT. It was simply perfect and I love the bread options. The atmosphere was comfortable with a friendly palette of colors. Despite a few small hiccups, I would certainly return and highly recommend.”

Be ready to wait 10-15mins to get to the counter. & They usually have a machine or two that's broken at any given time, but that's on the owner, not the workers. Nice people, though. Beware their breakfast sandwiches, there's Pablano peppers in the eggs (not sure why, that's a highly uncommon ingredient to put in eggs) which are *spicy. Found out the hard way & I can't eat spicy food. I didn't know the pablano on the label meant spicy peppers, I thought it was a type of cheese or spread. Since I've never had them before, I didn't know. Packaging should say "Spicy!" on the label somewhere.”

“The King's Mesa pizza was one of the best pizza's we have eaten out here in the west! The sourdough crust was the right amount of crispy outside while just the perfect chewy inside. The pizza came loaded with toppings and it was very flavorful. We took desserts home with us and they look incredible. The dogs enjoyed being able to sit outside with us on this beautiful day. What a great find and a yummy stop!”
