“]just picked up an order to go for big oysters to grill for tomorrow with their special boubon sauce. Also ordered the french onion burger which came out exactly med rare and tasted just like french onion soup with a burger..yum. Also ordered mussels which were incredibly fresh and the broth was so tasty with perfect spices. Got the shrimp po boy too which looks so tasty but I am too full to eat right now. We drove all the way from Concord to get this incredible deliciosness and their was no traffic and well worth it. We will be back soon. Thanks so much for staying open during all this.”

“Stopped here to get a bite to eat and was NOT disappointed. I got a burrito bowl, which the asada was super tasty. All the right seasoning, so juicy, and mixed with everything it was delicious! They also have a little bit of everything in case you need something asap. Everyone was friendly and it was super clean. It is a little bit pricey, but it is further away from the bigger cities so it is understandable.”

“Not sure what justifies the 3.9 rating but maybe it’s the fastidious clientele of Mill Valley. Judging this purely from the food, it was perfect. I really couldn’t believe this was the sister restaurant from the Beach Chalet from the other side of the bay. Whatever you do though, get a reservation! It was tough being a walk-in and having to hang out next to the hostesses in the front. Great experience!”

“It's a nice space, great location. The salads run about $14. A lunch or dinner for two is about $45, good portions. The menu was difficult for us to read & understand. Generally healthy foods with a mix of fried chicken. The menu was a little wordy (which forced the words to be kinda small) and seemed to be somewhat superfluous. There are 2 types of fried chicken, but no mention of the difference. Seating is casual served to your table with a number. No table service but the check still asks for a tip. The space is rustic chic with a hint of acoustic reverberation. The music was a good mix of decade spanning rock/alternative. If you like my review, then hit Like!”

“It was fine. It's a little pricey for typical bar fare and it's not like the food was super high quality. It took a while for anyone working behind the bar to even acknowledge us, let alone give us menus. Once we finally got our menus, it's like suddenly we were visible and a bartender came over to take our orders, about ten seconds after we got them. The food is just okay and a little on the expensive side. $18 for a hamburger and french fries that probably cost them no more than a $1 to actually make is a little ridiculous. If it was like top quality ground beef, sure. This was probably your basic chuck. The fries had basically no flavor, which is a little mind boggling. I could see that they were seasoned, they just didn't have any flavor to them. The baos were actually pretty good. The bread was soft and warm and the filling wasn't bad. The cocktail and beer prices are about standard for a bar in the Bay area, so no real complaints there. All in all, it was a rather forgettable experience and perfect for being paired with Holiday Inn. It's somewhere you go because it's not really possible to go anywhere else and everything is just ho hum and generic. Absolutely nothing about this place stands out.”

“Hook Fish is a wonderful restaurant, and has many great qualities. The cuisine is centred around fish and scallops, which you can buy just like they are or have them incorporated into other dishes like tacos, burritos, salads, and sandwiches. There is an area for children with building blocks and toys, which is enclosed and safe, and is a great place for the entire family. The staff are very friendly and kind, and the service is fast. Many nights there are events, including movies and live music. There is both inside seating (table and bar) and outside seating. Outside, there are heating lamps and blankets, but it can still get cold sometimes, so bring a jacket. In my opinion, this restaurant deserves five stars.”

“I ordered a tropical bowl and a side of granola. I went to pick it up in Sausalito in a hurry. When I got home, there was no granola on the side. Update on December 12th: I came back to the place and got my extra side of granola for free. The owner happened to be there, and he personally apologized for the mistake on my last order. And I have to say, I came back not only for the granola, but because their bowls are great. My favorite one is Tropical Bowl. Happy costumer.”
