You know I had to order all my favorites to test the consistency with their OG location in Irvine and ya'll, still slaps. The Chan Chan gimbap which is always so pretty, kimchi Spam fried rice, and the Chan Chan tenders that are literally HUGE! Basted in that sweet soy sauce, ugh chef's kiss. “We ordered the crab and shrimp combo bag, the garlic edamame, the ramen, chicken tenders and fries, 2 mechaladas and a strawberry smoothie with strawberry popping pearls. Let me begin by saying this is a brand new place and I understand that they’re probably working out the kinks, but the ordering system is kind of confusing not just for me as the customer but apparently for the staff as well. There were only two employees when we at their 6:20 pm Wednesday evening. Unless you have a solid 2 hours to go and have dinner this probably isn’t a place for you. The food was average which was disappointing because my bill was close to 200$ it had potential but the sauce had way too much of a sweet tatter, the garlic was extremely raw and I’m sorry but raw garlic is a vary unappealing taste, the edamame wasn’t cleaned properly it was covered in that fuzzy film on the outer layer and unfortunately the chicken tenders were way over cooked and tasted just like the oil it was fried in. The 2 employees seemed nice enough when I seen them the couple of times but they were extremely overwhelmed and it showed. Which I did find odd because we were the only people there at the time (myself and two small kids). The worst part was we had ordered a smoothie with popping pearls and it literally took 50 minutes and it was made incorrectly. I might return but I’m going to definitely wait a few months so hopefully that will allow them to work out the kinks and not serve people raw garlic.”

We met with the owner Jesus and he was so sweet and kind, we honestly didn’t know what to order but since we are all foodies we asked if he can just send out all his favs; Chicken and Beef Flautas – served with lettuce, guac, crema – crispy and hot Chicken and Beef Tamales – Flavorful and moist Shrimp ceviche – Fresh, tasty, everyone ate this up Rice and Beans – Great portion Mixed Brasero – This came out piping hot and stays hot throughout the meal. The meats were all seasoned well, the nopales gave a nice texture to the meal, one of my favorite things here. If you are a party of 4 or more, consider getting this – it’s basically fajitas without the peppers and onions but you really can’t, go wrong with this one! Tortilla, rice and beans and you’ve got a bussin meal! The menu is a bit extensive but according to the owner, its what the people want, they cater to everyone!”

Portions are HUGE, food tastes great, love that they have so many choices, and the best part is they are halal! I always appreciate their customer service, shout out to Edith for top tier service! I like that this location has more seating available than Downey and Long Beach. Word of advice to patrons: be patient, they're making the food fresh; bring your own water if you don't want to buy it. Plenty of parking available too. I always get the veggie pho and my kids like the rare steak! Glad we found a delicious pho restaurant like the one where we lived before. This one is by far better!
