“Went for the friends and family event and got the salmon with chipotle lime sauce with zucchini and sweet potato fries and it was very good! The sauce was very flavor and the salmon was well cooked. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Super friendly staff, quick turn around and when you order through the app, your coffee is ready on the counter with a handy receipt so you don’t pick up the wrong one by accident. They have a wide variety of Starbucks products you can buy for home use, with different themes by week. There is no outside seating, which makes this Starbucks limited IMHO. San Mateo has so many nice days to enjoy a coffee outside. Also limited parking available, and no drive through.”

“Excellent fare eclipsed only by superlative personable customer service! I had specific questions/requests given my quasi WholeFoodPlantBased lifestyle and they were above and beyond accommodating!”

“To be exact, the rating is 2½ stars. Tried this place for the first time. Inside looked clean. The only staff was not friendly, but courteous. I was taken aback that he wasn't wearing a mask, since all the food items were uncovered. Therefore, if you are very concerned about COVID safety, this might not be a good place to buy poke from. The food choices were okay. Fish selection was disappointingly limited. There were only two kinds of fish, salmon and tuna. The tuna was mixed with various sauces, and each flavor (e.g. spicy tuna) counted as one selection. So other seafood items listed on the menu, such as shrimp, was unavailable. But I was glad that there was crab, at least. All the food items, including seafood and salad, were fresh. Sauces used were pretty good too. A big thumbs down to the white rice--it was just too mushy. Prices were on par with inflation. A medium bowl was about $15, and a big bowl was about $20. Some food items came with extra charge (such as seaweed and avocado). I probably won't visit again. Comparing to other poke places, this one doesn't stand out. I picked it this time because my friend and I were very hungry and this was the closest eatery.”

“It's hard to describe how great this place is, I have been there twice and this is the valentine day lunch. Notice the little details, tiny mint leaves on one piece, tobiko on another. Everything is fresh and pops with flavor. You can really tell they care about the food they put out. If this was a regular restaurant in Belmont there would be lines out the door every day.”

“Saw this new ramen place open up and was debating on if we should try it or not. Holy, did not disappoint. The broth was incredibly flavorful, and the noodles were cooked perfectly, plus you can watch them make their noodles fresh in-house. The only thing is the portion size of the fried chicken, a little aggressive for $7.”

“Tried the garden box for lunch today and this vegetarian couldn’t be happier!! Tofu was firm and delicious and I just loved the yellow curry sauce. So many veggies and the perfect amount of crunch and tang with the peanut and lime wedge toppings. I’m going to get this for lunch all the time.”

“I love this place! When I'm feeling indecisive this place hits the spot. So many options, you and mix and match and everything taste so good! I highly recommend this place. Pork Banh Mi review - pork is very tender and juicy, tons of pickled vegetables and fresh vegetables, bread soft and crunchy. Pretty darn tasty!”

“Got the beef and broccoli and orange chicken with jasmine rice. Cooked to perfection - go to Chinese takeout spot in San Carlos for my family and I now”

“Perfect pita falafel for the afternoon in a beautiful neighborhood. Hit the spot especially with great sauces. Great hospitality by the courteous and enthusiastic staff. My go to place for lunch. The packaging is perfect for a takeaway too. Delightful overall.”

“Love this place. Took a detour from my garlic shrimp rice bowl and tried the Pork Deluxe Banh Mi - it’s addictive! And found out that East Side Banh Mi is a restaurant from Nashville that is now in San Carlos through Noshery. Super friendly staff and service.”

“Got the polo rice bowl for lunch today from The Little Chihuahua at Noshery and oh man was it good!! The ingredients we're really fresh and the chicken was really well cooked and seasoned. And the guacamole (which I'm normally super picky about when it comes to mexican food) was super, super good. Right amount of salt and a great consistency! This will meal become a staple for me. :)”

“The food was okay and price is reasonable, take out packaging is good. The hamachi Kama is smaller than expected, the shrimp tempura has too much breading and the seafood udon turns out to be just salmon fish in it, was disappointed. A dine-in experience might be different.”

“Really neat, lounge layout—advance reservations are recommended! Nice cocktails/mocktails, beer/wine/spirits, & light food options. Diane and John were very hospitable & considerate—easy walk back to CalTrain”

“The Lucky Supermarket- located in the Edgewater Shopping Center has a great selection of wines. Actually more wine inventory than the Safeway at Woodlake in San Mateo. The cake and bakery section is very small but I can observe large ovens for baking. The Lucky store bakery offers 3 Mexican Bolillo(Pan Francés) French Bread for $1.00. The produce section is very small but very clean and organized. If you are the neighborhood for a walk along the canal, I recommend a visit to the Supermarket.”

“Good place to go to with a group. Friendly staff. Had appetizers and entrees for everyone which turned out to be too much food. Meatloaf was good but too sweet for me. Fries were great. Quesadilla had a cheese crust which was awesome. The hush puppies were more like croquettes. Fish and chips were decent.”

“I love wing stop and when this location was finally open after weeks of delays it was worth it. It's a time saver for me. I live near Foster City, now I don't have to drive to San Carlos or the Delaware Street locations.”

“Clean store and friendly staff. I ordered a cheeseburger and some French fries. The food was not visually appealing, and the fries were not crispy; that said, the cheeseburger was tasty and juice. This store is located in Metro Center mall, and there are plenty of parking available. Price is fair for the quality you get. I do recommend it.”
