“A little piece of NY in SB! In New York City you find lots and lots of little pizza places along the street where you can stop and grab a slice and a drink and be on your way. The pizza is generally the best ever, because they produce it often and keep it hot. Gino's is Santa Barbara is version of this. The space is tiny, with dark paneled walls and red and white checkered tablecloths on only four or five little tables. It's perfect. There are also a couple of tables outside on the sidewalk when the weather is nice. you can order whole pizzas for a larger group and enjoy it in or for take out. But for slices the service is extremely fast and the taste is delicious. You can get a slice of cheese or pepperoni in about 2 minutes for $3 a slice. A can of soda is a buck-fifty. So for $7.50 you can have a very filling delicious meal, enjoy it on the spot and be on your way in 10 minutes. Tucked in as it is Figueroa Street, it is easily accessible and only a half a block off of State Street. I love this little place and hope you get a chance to enjoy it too.”

“If you visit Santa Barbara you have to come here! The bakery is filled with delicious pastries that just melt in your mouth. The breakfasts were amazing and very generous portions. You will not leave hungry. There were 6 of us on vacation and I won for choosing the best place to eat. ???? We sent my husband back twice to get croissants (the best we've ever had) and pastries to bring to the house. Everything was freshly made and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“Was here during Fiesta 2019. Overall not bad. Had the taco plate. I was not thrilled with it. While the tacos were primed to be great - great presentation and smelled excellent- the flavor didn't pack enough punch. However the salsa bar made up for it a little. Excellent salsa. Solid 4 stars, but certainly not 5.”

“Better than average. Nice place. Staff wasn’t “rude” but they weren’t the most friendliest either. Seemed to be in a rush even though it wasn’t very crowded. Breakfast selection is pretty large, you should easily be able to find something that you’ll like.”

“My daughter had the mushroom and leek pasta. It was to die for. We also had a simple cheese pizza and I truly believe if your cheese pizza is good the rest is too. Taking pride in the small things is important.”

“Second time eating here. Came in today after the annual Summer Solstice parade. It was packed but we were promptly seated. We got drinks right away and our food came surprisingly fast considering the crowed house. Very pleased once again. Great job handling the busy weekend!”

“We came for brunch on Sunday. It's a very busy place with a lot of bar patrons. We sat right down with reservations. The atmosphere was fun and the food was even better! We had beef tacos and avocado tacos which were amazing! Best avocado tacos I've ever had! They are small but so worth every two bites. The salsa was fresh and delicious too. We had the bunuelos too. Also awesome!”

“Best Italian food I experienced in the US. The seafood soup is our favorite. The pasta cooked perfectly. Great Italian wine selection. Dessert to die for, especially the Tiramisu. Bonus: after lunch you get some Italian cookies that go excellent with the espresso.”

“Went here to see a band from LA play. The venue is easy to find. (It's on the 2nd floor) Security checks your ID and tickets as being let in to the venue. They separate the venue if you aren't allowed to drink you can still see the show which is great. The restaurant has very delicious food definitely worth a bite to eat if you are hungry. I don't drink but they do have a full bar and plenty of beers to choose from. The venue has great sound and plenty of room to dance around. Parking is around in the back and they had plenty available when I arrived. If I know someone playing here I'll come back.”

“Friendly and average service. Prices were steep for moderate portion size. Four dishes ordered and none was spectacular. The papaya salad was the best, but three stars is where it landed. Not a bad choice, but there are better options nearby.”

“Great Sushi joint in downtown Santa Barbara. Be prepared to go early as there is almost always a wait. They do not accept reservations. Put your name down and walk around state street and they will call once your table is ready. Quality food, experienced sushi chefs, good atmosphere. Overall, definitely recommend.”

“Delicious breakfast, nice staff and great ambiance. All the dishes were really flavorful and unique. Dirty fries were awesome, ricotta pancakes - excellent, shrimp and grits - great. Cinnamon rolls - so good. Only thing I could go without was the biscuits, they were pretty dry. Signature drinks were good too.”

“We didn't eat in their formal dining room, we reserved their special events room, The Cork Room. We had excellent service from a designated server for the evening. Before our event, I was able to talk with the manager about the table linens, the menu, the wine selection, place setting options and the room decor. We did not feel rushed out or rushed through the courses, and the service was very nice.”

“This place has amazingly delicious Italian food. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is formal but I still went in jeans and a collared shirt for an early dinner and I didn't seem too out of place. The service was pretty good and attentive. However we had a lot of very very tiny red ants on our table and column near the table. It didn't bother us a ton but enough that I couldn't give a 5 star after the experience. Foods great get a table not near the wall. ;)”

“These guys know their beer. There's plenty to choose from and it rotates pretty regularly. Sometimes a little to overstocked on the IPAs but they're always the best ones around. Plenty of local beers and things from further afield. $4 rotating pint from 2-6pm is an absolute steal for Santa Barbara and it's often a top notch brew. Wine and ciders offered too but I haven't really dived into those much. Plenty of food that can be brought in from the public market including Italian, Thai and Mexican. Also one of the best places to watch sports downtown. Multiple TVs and one particularly huge one (that can be split into 4). Never have they ever said "we don't get that channel". Seriously, for anything. Basketball, football and soccer (all tournaments).”
