“Came here for lunch and ordered the black and bleu salad. Excellent salad- fresh greens and the steak was cooked perfectly and was delicious- but I would recommend ordering the salad dressing on the side- it was a bit much for me. The waitress was really nice and helpful and the food came out really fast. We were in a rush and we were in and out of there in less than an hour. My husband really liked his burrito. Very reasonably priced especially for the area”

“We were a table of 6. They added a 20% tip without telling us. There was a line for an additional tip. Really? Atmosphere was nice. Waitress was nice. I did not like the chicken burrito which was filled with only shredded chicken that was dry. No beans or rice in it. Covered with cheese and a sauce, but not tasty. I would not order again. My husband loved his burger. Margaritas were sweet tasting and were weak. Couldn't really tell they had alcohol in them.”

“We weren't sure what to expect from Golden Eagle Inn but this ended up being the highlight for us when it came to going out to dinner. The menu mind you has a list of exotic 'game' dishes so if this is not your thing this may not be the place to go for you. The exotic game menu is the highlight and we decided to embrace it. We ordered the Elk and I have to say it was spectacular just as described. Im not a game fan and neither is my wife so we were hesitant but glad we decided to give it a shot. Our server was great as well! She took great care of us and was delightful to work with all evening. If you are in Beaver Creek and looking for a local feel with the menu to prove it than give this place a try.”

“Decent pricepoint (for BC) and purty good food. The spicy popcorn shrimp appetizer is very tasty and also a large portion. Great pizzas. Fine steaks. Good drink selections. The deck view looks to be awesome but I cannot vouch as we visited at night in dead of winter so we were seated inside. Only knock is the ceilings and walls are hard and smooth and coupled with large groups and music blasting the place was louder than it needed to be.”

“Went here for breakfast based on the reviews and delicious looking photos. Was slightly disappointed to see they were offering a buffet. When getting my food, I told Donovan how sad I was about not ordering off the regular menu. He pleasantly surprised me by telling me it was no issue and I could get whatever I wanted. My friends LOVED the buffet, but I LOVED my eggs Benedict! Service was great, food was delicious!”

“Pizza is great, but the hostess was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced! Not only did she not great us, not even a hello or a smile....just looked at me with a look like “what the hell do you want?” Then she told me there was a 1 1/2 hr wait...while I counted 6 open tables. She clearly didn’t give a dam...as a business owner, I feel for the owner of this restaurant, clearly not the first person you want greeting your clients!! If it hadn’t been for a great bartender, who ended up taking our order for take out, we would have left and went somewhere else! BTW, I counted 6 families walk out the door after talking with the hostess...she should NOT be dealing with the public!!! Pizza was great, but won’t ever come back...it’s pizza, not going to be treated like that for pizza.”

Much quieter here than upstairs at the Dusty Boot, but a lack of customers tells another story. (note: Google maps currently shows separate listings/locations for The Met Kitchen and the Metropolitan but it's the same place, on the mid level and below the Dusty Boot.)”

“You need to take a cat to get there, which is cool and unusual experience. Overall, I think the place is a kind of overrated. We’ve been at better restaurants in this resort area. The place is only by reservation. The wait is long , so don’t come here if you are starving. Budget in at least 2 hours for the dinner (there were 2 of us only). It takes them quite a while to serve you food. The drinks were good. The food was decent but not wow. We had Venetian and scallops as well as some salad and an appetizer. The waiters were friendly. It was pretty loud and crowded at this place. I don’t think we will come back here next time we are in Avon skiing though.”

Issue is, and it can be said of all Beaver Creek / Vail restaurants... it's PAINFULLY pricey. A small cocoa & slice of banana bread... $14. A single slice of pizza and a beer, easily $20. Feeding a family of four, going to be $100, or more. Ouch.”

“Found this place on search as we passed through area on 70 to avoid downtown vail. Was a good place for quick meal. Tomato Basil (chunky) has to be the best tomato soup I’ve had. Family ordered French toast and cinnamon French toast. Looked good. Wife wish she ordered the chicken pot pie after seeing it at neighboring table. I had the Full Monte, hash browns were cold and not a lot of flavor on that plate. Wish I tried the Rocky Mountain trout which is why I didn’t rate the full 5 star. Overall a must try spot if passing through.”

“I’ve been listening to their Totally Deep podcast for several years, but today was my first time in their shop. I was blown away by how knowledgeable they are. I purchased a set of bindings, which they price matched for me, and had them mounted. First off, they did it while I waited, which was very cool. Second, Doug knew that the mount line on the top sheet on my new skis was 1cm off which he adjusted for. He also knew to mount the heel piece 1mm back so that my boot wouldn’t get hung up while touring in flat mode. I’ve been to many shops and none of them had near the knowledge of AT/backcountry/rando gear. I fully recommend these guys...they are even worth the drive from the front range.”
