“We went for Mother's Day it was delicious and fast service, the food was fresh. Only thing is this is our second time going and last time we were seated but on Mother's day we weren't. It just would of been helpful to be seated or asked if we wanted to be seated. The manager wasn't friendly at all, the staff was nice but not too friendly this time. I love this place and will go back again. I love how it's old fashioned and brings back memories of when I was younger and used to go here with my parents.”

Unlike Ted's, they do not use mozzarella in their cheese mix, instead choosing a Canadian sharp cheddar mix which really adds a great kick to the burger. Don't even bother with Ted's, just go straight here. BTW, this place recently expanded physically.”

“Terrible I went today 2:45 PM thres was a guy behind the counter writing some papers another female employee taking lunch break talking on her cell phone and another girl on the Kitchen and im there standing in front of the counter for 15 minutes and no one offer me to service me. finally the guy ask me after 17 minutes at the end i end up without corn breads for my order and no gravy on my smash :-/ . im a new business onwer in Meriden that signed a lease today on my new office space down town and im not planing to luorder lunch there any more. thanks”
