“We came in for a casual dinner and ordered a lobster to share and The Rodeo, billed as "the whole shebang". It is true...the dinner fed 4 of us and we had a full to go plate when we left. All the BBQ was great - tender, juicy and tasty. The restaurant is relaxed and laid back...perfect for our group. We'd definitely recommend a stop here.”

“Stopped here on our way to Acadia NP. The staff was very friendly. Our group had some lobster mac & cheese, lobster rolls, a whole lobster, and some pulled pork. They were all top notch. However, the star of the show was the home made blueberry pie. It was some of the best I've ever had. We liked it so much we asked to buy a whole pie, which we picked up on our way back out of the park. 2 days later, it was still delicious and the crust was still flaky. I'm not sure which was the best part, the crust or the filling. I would definitely go back, if given the chance.”

“Very friendly, family run. I had the most amazingly delicious swordfish...ever!!! Fresh off the boat. A bit of lemon & butter and it melted in my mouth. And if that wasn't enough, I went back and got a 4# lobster that they cooked to perfection!! They're picky about the fish they get and it shows. It's the only place I'll let my fish on Mt Desert island.”

“There are more places to get lobster rolls in Maine than you can ever imagine. I happen to be driving by Lunt's Lobster Pound and noticed the 4 cauldrons steaming out front. They had me hooked and I stopped in for probably the best lobster roll I have ever tasted. During my first visit it was cold outside so I ate inside with the family owners. They were great to chat with and suggested I have the warm roll. The lobster was cooked to perfection and delicious on the buttered roll with lettuce. I said I'd visit again and stopped on a very warm day. So I ate outside in a shady area. This time I tried the cold roll and it was also perfect. I will always make it a point to stop here when I am visiting the Bar Harbor area.”

“Fantastic food. The dumplings are a must have item. Payment with four square is a breeze. Small area to eat your food on site. Eating here is a must for locals and visitors alike!”

“In the south we would call Smokey's a dive. That's a complement when it comes to a BBQ place. Smokey himself was outside cooking when we pulled into the parking lot. He threw up his hand and waved us in. The smell of the grilling meat was heavily! So, he didn't have to ask but once. The restaurant is tiny, with just a few wooden tables inside, but lots of outdoor seating. The place even has an old wooden screen door! Another sign it was a serious BBQ place. The food didn't disappoint. My ribs were moist, tender, good char on the outside, and delicious! My friend got lobster and she said it was great! I know it sure looked good. Smokey's BBQ is as good as any I have eaten in the south. That's saying a lot because we take our BBQ very seriously. If you're in the mood for BBQ while in the Trenton, Maine area stop by Smokey's. You will not be disappointed. Seriously good eats!”

“Truly love this little restaurant. Has quickly become my favorite. Amazing food with amazing service. They always keep checking on you to ensure that you have everything you need, and they make you feel welcome enough to ask for anything without worrying of "bothering them" like most other places. The service alone is worth the trip. Haven't been disappointed with any dish we've gotten. Highly recommend! ???? ????”

“This is a great place to visit with friends and family. They are kind and friendly here. I stopped here for my friends after lunch and glad we did. Get ready for big size portions of ice cream and great service. We have marked our contacts for this location as a place to go to for Ice Cream in the future.”

“Great take-out food, my haddock sandwich was fresh and delicious and the rest of my group was happy with their meals and ice creams as well. Prices were reasonably and service was fast and friendly. This would be a great place to go with kids--plenty of room for them to run around, plus there's a small playground and a game room behind the main building. We will definitely return here next year!”

“'Pat's Pizza' is a misnomer. Pizza is the tip of the iceberg. Hiding beneath is a restaurant waiting for the traveller to explore. Full comfort food menu friendly servers and reasonable prices. The pizzas deserve another volume. Sizes shapes and toppings to suit any pizza lover.”

“Stopped by for lunch on our way to the cabins a friend rented for the weekend and was very impressed with our first "taste" of the town of Manchester. Hubby & I opted to share the Barnyard Wrap along with a bowl of the Jerk Chicken Soup and boy am I glad we did. The wraps are as big as burritos and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients- loved the added crunch of the carrots on our wrap and the honey mustard dressing was delicious. The Jerk Chicken Soup was rich, hearty and had just the right amount of heat for this spice loving girl but not too much for my tender tongued hubby and the freshly made whole wheat bread that came with it was very good. We also picked up jars of both dill & bread & butter pickles which perfectly complemented everyone's meal. The only part of the meal I wasn't a big fan of was the homemade chips - too thick and dense for my taste and not at all crispy. Next time we're in the area we will definitely stop in.”

“Genuinely fantastic Thai food, provided with many flourishes and thoughtful details. I've been here twice and been happily surprised each time. The food is expertly prepared with excellent, fresh ingredients. Of particular note are the fresh rolls and crab Rangoon. The latter is not commonly considered a Thai dish but is presented here with real crabmeat and curry in a fluffy filling (the base is probably cream cheese but I wouldn't want to be wrong). Both times I visited Thai Sana I took my food to go, so I have no input on the ambience or table service, but it all looks good from the front desk.”

“We're traveling from New Jersey and decided to stop by Helen's to grab some lunch. And we're so glad we did! First, the food is delicious. Our kids especially loved the French onion soup and the fried pickles (and the fresh-baked bread is wonderful as well!). The hubby and I ordered the seafood platter and enjoyed every bite of it. But the highlight of our visit is our lovely server, Reba, who is probably one of the most pleasant person I have ever met. We definitely recommend this place in case you end up on this side of Maine.”

“I reserved a table through Google assistant on my phone which they honored. We had the buffet and ordered the 6 beef teriyaki sticks that came with the hibachi fire. It was a nice touch and they were good. I love the coconut shrimp. They called it lemon shrimp but it had no lemon in it which I was happy about.”

“Pizza and cheesebread was good. Menu had a lot of options including subs and such. I did not dine in so I am not able to speak about in house service. Pizza is a thin soft crust. If you're looking for minimal bread this is your pizza. Sauce was tasty and the pizza wasn't overly greasy.”

“The staff at this McDonald's are very nice and polite. The food can be hit or miss, but if you specify you want it fresh, they accommodate without an attitude. In general one of the better McDonald's I've been too”

“We spent a week in the area and this was one of the best meals we had. Burgers, fish sandwich and mac a & cheese were all great. Portion sizes were huge and then Marla brought the banana split that was enough for 3 people! Staff was friendly and engaging, place was very clean and items in the bakery looked amazing but we were too full after the meal.”

“Few times through here because addicted. Just wanted to say it's a nice and clean establishment. Today you only seemed to have one person doing the drive through and front counter when I came in and she was owning it! Crazy fast service, you should thank her for being a top notch employee for real.”

“YES. YES. YES! Holy moly, loved the friendly, just-right service and can highly recommend the fried scallops. Look at how huge these are! EIGHT! And cooked just to Perfection. I ate half and have been snacking from the go-box - heck, even cold, they're great. Fries were hot, Cole Slaw tasty. I only used lemon - the scallops were so lightly sweet, no sauce was needed. A great experience, highly recommended. CLEAN. It's obvious that owners or managers always oversee everything. My only negative was the 'House Merlot' that I requested. I should've asked for a brand. Tasted ... 3rd squeeze ... not tasty. GO. ENJOY! Next time, I'll try the Lobster Roll.”

“Great place to go and burgers actually taste like burgers not thin dry flavorless meat slices. Love their chicken salads. But the chicken is some of their sandwiches and nuggets could be better.”

“Greetings locals, travelers and in betweeners! This diner by appearance may seem worn and torn from the outside, certainly the diner experience from the inside, albeit a bit rustic. It’s quite a local experience and if you’ve been here long you know that means charming and friendly. To our surprise (we ordered from the specials, which was a good variety), the food was obvious homemade and very good. Home fries were texture heaven, biscuits and gravy were just right, quiche was outstanding. I doubt you’re going to find a better overall diner and breakfast experience around town. The service was incredibly fast! I am glad o stopped by and very satisfied. Wishing the staff and establishment many years of good business and health. Thanks.”

“Terrific selection of sushi and food. The food is great, and portions are huge! The staff is some of the friendliest in the area, and service is quick. The restaurant is very clean, and has a nice atmosphere. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Ellsworth!”
