“Great service... Very friendly and prompt. Excellent good. Very lightly battered calamari appetizer. Crab cakes with very little filling. Jacked up shrimp scampi with sun dried tomatoes and capers. Atmosphere encourages making friends ????”

“Fine dining at its best! Food, service and ambience perfect. Went back again for a second night while on vacation. A Noreaster had knocked out power but they simply handled the situation with the same grace and outstanding experience. Highly recommended!”

“Nice little gem of a place. Quaint, nicely furnished, unpretentious. Super clean, cozy, comfortable. Loved having a kitchen and sitting area to spread out. Our room above the restaurant was a little noisy until about 10 or 11 but was quiet after that. Great restaurant downstairs. Would stay here again!”

“If solely rating the actual meal, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ without a doubt, HANDS DOWN. Absolutely amazing breakfast. It was definitely the best breakfast we had during our Maine trip. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the experience as a whole. We were able to call ahead and be placed on the waiting list. We were seated quicky upon out arrival and our order was taken quickly as well. However, our waitress was not exactly the friendliest and after taking the order, was nowhere to be found. Additionally, our meal took an unreasonable amount of time to be served. Despite these shortcomings, I can not say it enough, our breakfast was delicious. A must have for breakfast regardless of their lapses.”

“Flat out some of the best pizza we ever had. (Coming from a New Yorker that’s a compliment). Super friendly staff and anything you want on the menu. Baked goods are pristine too!”

“Overall, everything we had was tasty but some of the pastries are just absurdly priced. We ordered three pastries at a total cost of just under $19 - including an apple tart that was over $9. Probably my fault for not asking before but it really caught me by surprise. No issues with quality - everything was very good, not life-changing though.”

“Food is great. lamb burger is juicy tender and tasty. Carrot ginger soup and sides were all good. Outdoor seating is pleasant. Service is a bit slow but forgivable since the food is so good. I guess the kitchen takes time with each dish. Breakfast til 12 and kids menu.Casual atmosphere right in heart of town.”

“The chef here is amazing. He even came to our table to discuss options for me with my food allergies. The atmosphere is just perfect. Make a reservation for this popular restaurant, you won't be disappointed at all. Thursday is taco night, and the signature drinks are a must. They will even make a virgin drink if you ask.”

“We chose Mainely Meat BBQ At Atlantic Brewing Company for our son's and his bride's wedding rehearsal celebration. Such a wonderful experience! Susan Douglas was so easy to work with. Since we live in SC, I was a little anxious about not being there in person to go over the details. When we arrived the evening of the event, everything was set up perfectly and Susan even went the extra mile to have a fire pit set up and ready to go. The food was excellent and all of her staff were so great and friendly. All of our guests (about 100) were very complimentary of the evening celebration. Couldn't have chosen a better place. Thank you. Ines Comar”

“Went to our first Brewery on our way to Vermont and got hooked on the ambience so I was really looking forward to checking out a couple while in Bar Harbor. Totally different experience - the restaurant beside the brewery had closed for the season and you can't buy beers to drink, they only do tastings, apparently their location in Bar Harbor is much different but we didn't feel like heading back to pandemonium as the cruise ship was in town. Hubby didn't care for any of the beers he tried and the one he was looking forward to trying - Leaf Peepers - was sold out, the blueberry soda was excellent though so there's that. Also, the place is supposed to be pet friendly only on the patio (I asked before hubby and our golden even got out of the car) but then the young man pouring the samples said you had to drink them in the building, not sure where he expected our dog to wait or how we were supposed to taste the beers from the patio they weren't allowed on but the young lady working the cash register intervened and allowed the tastings outside.”

“They have a bunch of different unique flavors here. We went with the traditional blueberry and raspberry and it was amazing! The prices were also reasonable. We got a 16 oz cup for only $5 including tax. I would highly recommend if you’re in the area.”

“Eclectic street food in a small new england town. Lots of interesting choices from around the world, carefully and expertly prepared to take away to beautiful places on Mount Desert. Both veggies and carnivores can find joy and peace here.”

“Super tasty! Owner was super friendly and had a variety of choices. Would recommend stopping in if you're in the area and want a great homemade pizza! I had the June Pie which was amazing! The owner even put a little extra cheese on for me which was awesome. We also got the strawberry-rhubarb cheesecake (vegan!) which was tasty!”

“First of all, absolutely delicious. Stopped here with my husband on our way out of bar harbor and regretted that we didn't come here prior. Excellent atmosphere where you can enjoy a no nonsense meal. Best price as well, don't waste your money in the city when you can get lobster, mussels, crab and corn for $50. 10/10!!!”

“Absolutely spectacular lobster. VERY casual place, with VERY friendly staff. We had a super lunch here. Two in my party agreed that it's the best, sweetest, best cooked lobster we ever had. I had the lobster roll (not really a lob roll as no mayo, just a whole lobster served in a buttered bun. If you want lobster but don't want to fight with the shell this is the way to go. Others in my party got the lobster in the shell and also loved their meal. Don't let the casual vibes sway you away, I was not sold from the reviews or images but I'm so happy we went. It's amazing.”

“Lobester roll and burger was good, chicken strips were too thin and fries were just ok. Didn't care for the slaw but everyone has their own preferences for that. It was all done pretty fast, prices were comparable to others in area. Milkshakes were Bad.”

“This place was amazing! The food was delicious. First, we all get a delicious homemade bread. Then we each got a plate, which also included a giant salad. The entrees themselves were mind blowing. It is amazing the ginormous quantity of quality seafood they put in one plate! It was so delicious, I am still drooling. They also have a nice terrace.”

“Hands down the best place for seafood near Acadia national Park. Was sent here by a local and will be coming back and recommending this place to everyone. Don't forget, you can't leave here without having dessert! It's homemade by the owner and the best. We don't normally do dessert but actually got to talking to the owner at the bar and she convinced us and we weren't disappointed. The rhubarb pie was spectacular (first time having rhubarb) ????”

“Amazing fresh food by the sea what's not to love? We ordered Joe's crab cakes, soft shell lobsters and plain dinners. Ofcourse beers too. The food is simply delicious. I don't know why it has 4.5 stars! Should be 5 all the way. The crab cakes were so meaty and delicious my 14 month old loved it. Would definitely go again if I'm around there.”

“This was some of the best seafood we had out in Maine during our trip. Great lobster rolls. Everything else was delicious. Kitchy and cute roadside stop and the prices were pretty damn good. Also one of the best tasting lobster rolls of our trip, and our daughter even enjoyed the bucket. Devoured a whole lobster, steamers, corn, etc. Highly recommend.”

“The lobster roll was flavorful and well done! The bread could have been a little better (was just a hot dog bun). Also the outside eating area did not smell great but the food was authentic and was very fresh!”

“We stopped at the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound once on our trip to Acadia and loved the food. The lobster rolls and coleslaw were delicious. Nice ambience for a roadside stand. Family-owned and friendly service. We definitely recommend.”
