“Liberty Kitchen is all American! Red, white and blue are the colors of liberty. I had the mozzarella sticks, which was a huge serving. They were perfectly cooked on the inside and golden crispy brown on the outside. My partner in crime had a salad and we were both surprised at the size, that salad took over the entire plate. Liberty Kitchen is accessible off the Sunrise Trail as well as off Centerville rd. In Columbia Falls.”

“Lani & her team at Megunticook Market catered a picnic at Merryspring for our son's wedding weekend this month. The food was delicious and the presentation so nice! We ordered the charcuterie, crudite, fruit salad, rollup platter, smoked salmon, country dessert platter, and mini whoopie pies. We had very few leftovers. I recommend it all! Great food, timely delivery, & friendly service!”

“There isn't anything I've had I didn't love. Their cheesecakes and peanut butter pies are to die for. Everything is truly delicious. Lunch options and salads are also 5 star. And the yeast rolls and homemade hamburger buns are absolutely the way you need to go for your summer cookouts!!! Also, Dawn an Erica are so sweet and love their customers!!”

“I LOVE their pizza! They have a perfect blend of cheeses and more importantly they have the "tried and true" and some toppings new! We have pizza night on Thursdays, and they were so accommodating they added Cherries to their menu per our request. We average 6 pizzas on Thursday and are never disappointed though if I was to make one suggestion, replace the ham pellets with bigger pieces (always rather pay a little extra for quality & quantity). Great pizza here!”

“Fast. Tasty. Original pizza. We were in and out in 8 minutes. Bought a Pepperoni whole pie. The pizza was good, the cheese has a good mix ans flavour and the sauce is not sweet - authentic.”

“Pretty awesome place. They have really unique coffee options like snickers, or s’mores and cool donut options like fruity pebbles. Worth a quick drop in. I wouldn’t say this is a place I’d recommend for everyone as the food here is all really rich and heavy and if you are already going out to eat a lot because you are visiting the town, you may feel sluggish after eating the donuts from here. But overall, seems very clean, staff is friendly and quick.”

“Salsa Verde is a lush stream in a culinary desert - serving refreshing and delicious food. I live locally and I usually skip the local/mostly seasonal eateries. The experience I had at this small restaurant has me eager to return to try more! I highly recommend their grilled chicken - the flavors are vibrant and the meat is a nice change from your typical dry-shredded chix. Their soft corn tortillas are lovingly prepared. I could drink the house made salsa. Basically - don’t settle for sad food when you can eat here and leave truly satisfied!”

“Nicely renovated with a great stage for bands, dance floor, plenty of tables, clean, and friendly staff. Food available, too. Our new go to place on weekends for dancing. Also have to come to karaoke on Thursdays.”

“We came in opening day and even though they were very busy there was only about a ten minute wait. The entryway for waiting isn't heated so expect that to be a bit cold for now. The hostess and waitresses were very polite. Food was prepped quickly. The California roll was the best I've ever had. The lobster had what tasted like chocolate sauce on it and the crab rangoon were chewy but overall the food was quite good. I would definitely recommend.”

“Loved our dinner here! We were trying to sample restaurants that had more variety in their menus than the restaurants on Main Street that all seemed to have virtually the same menu. We were not disappointed! We sat at the bar and received amazing service. The food was also delicious. We had fresh oysters, lobster bouillabaisse and the steak frites. I would order the steak just a little more rare than you usually eat it, it’s a thinner cut, but still amazing!”

“I needed to post a review of Cottage Street Ramen. No, it's not the cottage of St. Ramen, patron saint of noodle soup lovers. Or is it?!? So we're in a tiny, touristy (both negative predictors of good food) town of Bar Harbor, (pop. 5089), so I had low expectations of getting decent ramen, much less good vegetarian ramen. Very low. But Lo and behold... (get it? Low expectations, lo and behold? No? No one? OK. Let's move on). Holy cow... so to speak. Cottage Street Ramen has amazing vegetarian and vegan ramen. In Bar Harbor, Maine, of all places. We ordered Spicy Mushroom Miso Ramen, Vegan XO Ramen, and Rich Shoyu Ramen. And all of them were so amazing. To start, the presentation is beautiful, a treat for the eyes, topped with grilled and fresh ingredients and fried tofu, and the Rich Shoyu has generous amounts of sliced grilled garlic which is sweet and mellow. I highly recommend adding boo choy and scallions when you order. lit adds a few cents to the cost, but so much flavor; they grill the bok choy and it's super yummy. All three broths are all so flavorful, rich and full of umami. And while the whole wheat ramen noodle isn't quite as glutinous (chewy) as white ramen noodles, it's really good, and a sight more wholesome! We're here a few more days, so before we leave, we may just have to go back another time.... or two! There is no sit down service, and you have to bus your own table when you're done, but for this level of goodness in this place, it's totally worth it. Also they have no hot sauce, only house-made chili oil, so if you like it spicy like I do, bring your own hot sauce.”
