“Had brunch at Jam Eateries today, can’t say enough good things about it. The remodel of the former Eggspectations is beautiful. Modern, but welcoming and relaxing. The menu had so many great options but we settled on the Bananas Foster French Toast and the Stuffed French Toast. So often when I get French Toast it’s dry on the inside. This was definitely not the case at Jam, it was moist all the way through! The toppings were delicious and generous, but we didn’t feel like it was too much or overly sweet. The service was top notch. I noticed our waitress was constantly making her way around the section, but not in a way that felt overbearing. Just enough that you knew she was there if we needed anything. A gentleman who we think was the manager checked in with us towards the end of our meal to ask how we had enjoyed everything and dropped off a coupon for each of us to come back for free smoothies! We will definitely be taking him up on that!”

“Went to Tribos Peri Peri Ellicott City today and absolutely loved it! We got the crispy chicken sandwich (extra hot spicy level). The portion was big, and the taste was delicious. They left us two huge bottles of sauce. They also had complementary chicken soup. The place was clean and pretty; the staff was super nice. Big Zabiha halal sign on the door. 10/10 would recommend.”

“In comparison with the other AYCE hot bot & bbq places in the catonsville/Ellicott city area, this place is a solid choice. I was really hesitant after reading the reviews and previous honey pig experience but they deserve more credit for now. I came for dinner on a Friday night. Service was great and at no point this I think that meat was coming out too slow. Though I can complain that the broth isnt intense, I'm not a fan of boiling my food in general. The Korean BBQ in itself is better than all the local AYCE options and the grills are larger as well.”

“The food is very tasty. It’s our first time to eat here today. We arrived after 3:30pm and it’s not so busy. The restaurant is new and the wooden tables and chairs are nice. My only concern was the food was not hot when they served them. The rice is cold already and the jasmine tea was too bitter. It’s like the tea was brewed too long. The appetizer cost about $10 whereas the entree we ordered was $22. I hope that when we come back, the food will be served piping hot so I can change my rating to 5 star.”

“Great little Korean restaurant-counter service for non BBQ Korean food. I had their beef soup that hit the spot with a savory, spicy, and flavorful broth with lots of vegetables. It’s similar to yukgaejang but without the fern. Their kimchi was spot on fermented and it’s pungent. The cucumber kimchi is on the sweeter side and not as fermented. I’m planning on going back a few more times before the lacrosse tournament ends. My son will be going to eat here as well. It was a lucky find. They just opened this week. So if you’re hankering for some Korean food, give it a try. They have dumplings, fried chicken, ramen, and bulgogi as well. It’s nice to find real Korean food in this area. If you’re watching K-drama, you’ve got to come and try the food.”

“Nice, clean, and bright atmosphere. They have good selections of healthy food. We ordered a smoke salmon toast, mango tango in a bowl, and an iced cold brew smoothie. The toast is good. It's on toasted sourdough bread with cucumber and other greens. The cold brew smoothie is more of a smoothie than a coffee drink, so don't expect it to satisfy your caffeine cravings. The bowl is like a dessert bowl with a frozen mango puree topped with strawberries, pineapples, coconut, and more. It was unexpectedly good. Now, the not so good part is you have to wait for your food. The service is a bit slow. They just opened, so I'm guessing they are still working on service efficiency. Will I come back? Yes, for the smoothie and maybe for an occasional dine in for food.”

We got a bucket of corona that according to our server contained six beers, when it came out, it only had five. 🤷🏽♀️ I guess not a big deal, but then again, not accurate. We order two appetizers (bacon wrapped shrimp and crab meat dip - both delicious-.) that came out pretty quickly. We order dinner. Two of our dishes ( salmon dish) came out pretty fast. The other four dinners were never served. The staff completely forgot about us. Not sure what happened. 🤷🏽♀️”

“Lāk Restaurant (pronounced Lake) was quite nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. Some of the food was a little hit and miss, but the hits were superb. The baked brie was phenomenal, with a strawberry rhubarb compote that was just fantastic on it. The lobster bisque was also excellent, certainly the best I've ever had. And the wild boar tagliatelle pasta had an amazing sauce and flavors. Unfortunately the vegetable risotto was greatly lacking seasoning and was rather bland, and the grilled baguette and dipping sauce was rather lackluster. We were overall satisfied and will definitely come back.”
