“The perfect addition to our downtown, staff is friendly and have great suggestions for new visitors. I have sat (safely) and enjoyed many drinks as well as to-go orders. Waiting for the warm weather so I can enjoy more frozen drinks,”

“Went for 1st time this week. I had the chicken shawarma. Very good! Everything was extremely fresh & the pita was perfect. Garlic sauce is awesome! Only thing I can say is the portion could've been slightly bigger for the price. The woman working was very nice too. I'll be back on a regular basis, highly recommend.”

“I ordered butter chicken with rice and it was very delicious. Staff were very nice. The bathroom was very clean. You can stay there until 11pm and you wouldn’t be rushed to leave the place. My friend and I had a very enjoyable time over there having great food and chatting. The sitting area was very comfortable. They also have a dedicated bar in the restaurant for those who need to just use the bar or order special drinks. Their menu was quite versatile covering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options.”

“In addition to their special food taste and well designed atmosphere of the place, we experienced a higher level of friendliness by the people working at Andala. We had a problem with our phone carrier, we were trying to log into the parking app to pay for our car but couldn’t; Omar, whom we met for the first time, gave us coins to put in the meter and saved the day. Then our phone could not scan the menu, he additionally gave us his phone to view the menu on. How likely to have these situations happening to you by a restaurant employee? True Arabic hospitality. Thank you.”

“I’m so sick of terrible pizza in Cambridge. Look no further! Mona Lisa is amazing and great service is just the cherry on top. As a New Yorker this pizza really measures up to some of the best I’ve had! I recommend the buffalo chicken pizza. The jalapeño poppers are also delicious.”

“I got the spicy duck and it was spectacular! Spicy but not too spicy. The duck was crispy yet very tender. Delicious!!!”

“Food and service were superb! We came on a weekend (I think) with reservation. For the drinks, they have tons of whiskey so if you don't have a preference (like I do), the waiter/waitress will gladly recommend it. For the food, I would recommend the brisket, the burnt ends, the pork belly burnt ends and the ribs. The turkey was surprisingly not dry at all. The wings were good, good amount of smoke. Potato salad, fries and coleslaw were good choices of sides for me.”

“I absolutely love this place! It’s a bit out of my way to drive to but it was 100% worth it when I got there. Everyone was super nice the inside looked amazing and the music was great! I had been trying to find a place that had açaí bowls like the one I had on vacation and this place blew me away the coco craze bowl is amazing. I will definitely be back all the time”

“This place is solid for late night meals. The chicken wings are so so crispy and cooked to perfection. Don’t expect a gourmet restaurant when you’re literally paying $5 for a meal. I think they’re great!”

“Just had shanghai fresh for the first time and it is excellent. I was not feeling adventurous, so I got my guilty pleasure Americanized Chinese food - sesame chicken. I thought all sesame chicken was the same, but this is outstanding. The sauce is complex and full of flavors, and the chicken is cut into perfectly sized chunks, and fried to a nice crisp. I'll definitely be ordering again, and trying something more "authentic".”

“I ordered the meat combination and the chicken was amazing! The lamb and the beef would've tested great of they've selected tender meat. The kitchen closes around 8:40pm. Tasted honey wine which was almost like a dessert wine. Service was great!”

“I love tatte sandwiches especially their chicken pita (pic not included). Who knew that roasted squash are wonderful in sandwiches. I loved the flavor and texture of that one. Their cookies and pie are worth a try if you stop by. Staff are always friendly at this location. I prefer to order ahead because they are usually busy.”

“Only had a drink (lavender lemonade) but will be back to try the food as well. Dine-in available starting end of May 2021. Next door there is a grassy spot in front of City Hall that is available for eating. Very organized setup with clear instructions for where to exit (Covid-19 safety to avoid mixing with too many other patrons). Bathrooms are currently closed, but hopefully will reopen once dine-in starts again next week.”

“There are two Beantown Taquerias. They are similar, but definitely not the same. I prefer the one on Western Ave, because they have better prices, especially for lunch. For $6 or $7 you can choose between four lunch specials with choice of meat, and you get chips with salsa, PLUS beans, rice, and a soda included; it's a huge amount of food. The quesadilla is just awesome, it comes with a kind of spicy aioli, SO GOOD. They are very good about giving you the amount of spice you want. You can get things VERY hot here, far hotter than I can usually find at other mexican places, or even at thai/indian places. There is a downside, though. Literally, about 60-70% of the time I try to come here, it's closed. I don't know what's going on, but it seems to almost never be open. I usually try to stop by for lunch between noon and 3:00pm, so it's not weird hours. I tried to come once around 5 or 6pm, but it was also closed. I get the feeling there is some kind of management issue or something. That's the only reason I'm taking away a star. The food really is fantastic, and the prices can't be beat.”

“Tremendous burgers and fries in a characterful old space right across from the main Harvard campus. We stopped in and had a great lunch. The make your own burger option was appreciated and yielded tasty, greasy cheeseburgers. Seemed like a classic college spot. I would happily go back.”

“This restaurant is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a special dinner, this restaurant comes straight to my mind. outstanding and varied food and a large list of dishes.professional staff members, and pleasant mood. In addition to that, the charge is fair. I sent my friends to this restaurant with no doubt.”

“Love this place! Just had a turkey rueben - it was perfect! Deep flavor, a hearty amount of sauce, and you can tell they use high quality ingredients (and they're local too!) On top of great food, everyone who works there is kind, friendly, and makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. And another bonus - their music choice is top notch. I'll be back soon to try your 3-way! And the area around the shop is cute - lots of great places to pop in.”

“Pretty good food and atmosphere. Their burgers are unmatched and desserts are indulgent. However, you will have to try to justify their relatively expensive items. Burgers typically cost around 15 dollars, so be prepared to spend at least 18 dollars per person (including tip). Not ideal for students on a tight budget, but great food overall.”
