“Good cider place next to CCTV station in Central square. Outdoor seating is great for the summer time, and their ciders were good. The ambience was a bit odd in that no one came up to us after we were seated to take our orders. We needed to walk up to the bar in order to get things going. The food did not necessarily make sense given that we were having ciders. That said, the fried rice was good. We also got orders of dumplings, which were good despite not having soy sauce provided. Not sure if it justified the price though. That being said, happy that there's a cider place in Central square.”

“This place is an absolute gem. This is the type of place where locals go as part of their morning routine. I recently visited to try their donuts, and they were one of the best I had in Boston. These old school donuts were quite similar to Kane’s donuts, but much better in quality. They were extremely fluffy and airy on the inside, and the frostings and the cream had the perfect level of sweetness. Highly recommend trying them out, but make sure to bring cash and go early as possible as the donuts get sold out pretty quick.”

“Excellent food, drinks and service. Went with a few friends and the guys could not finish their meals. Everybody was pleased with their dinners and the pizza. We saw desserts go by and they looked so good but we were so full. Very spacious and bright - so appreciate the tables not being so close together and the light not being so dim. Plus the games were on the large TVs. It’s always nice that they have lots of parking, too.”

“Friends brought us to LA Royal to enjoy dinner on their anniversary. I was very impressed with this restaurant. The staff were all very attentive to us and the other diners. Our server was Evan, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and just seemed very happy we were there. Evan was engaging and helped us with the menu choices. A very nice guy to be sure. I was a bit lost with the menu but Evan didn't rush us. The food: Superb. We all shared our dishes with each other to enjoy the variety offered. I ordered an Alpaca burger. You'd think a place like this would've not had a burger but this was no ordinary burger.. They didn't give ketchup with the burger but it did include a small bowl of some dip. I didn't use that but started on the burger as it was. HOLY COW!! This was the BEST burger I've ever had (and I've had a lot of burgers in my time). Sooo tasty, sweet even. I can't do it justice. The appetizers were fantastic, everyone's food was top notch. Drinks were all interesting and tasty. We also ordered a pitcher of brewed purple corn? That was a unique taste. The total for the 4 of us was about $250 give or take. That's pretty normal for the four of us. There was a 3% gratuity to the kitchen workers which they definitely deserved. All in all it was a super night, definitely worth a return trip!!”

“They are super nice! Got a donut from the house for free because they were closing. Nice vibes nice people! But most importantly, the bagel is super tasty! Fresh dense dough and loaded with cream cheese. Simple yet memorable. Will definitely come back!”

“First time visiting this cafe and had a short but nice experience here! Ordered a capp and overnight oats and everything was delish! Also bought a bag of their coffee! The staff was super friendly and recommended me the best option for the coffee! 🙂”

“I was looking to try their corn dog and wasn't disappointed with the result. Try the original with beef sausage and the potato with half beef/mozz; the sausage tasted very good. It took more time than I thought to get my order, but I will definitely return.”

“I'm an avid Bar Rescue fan and I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed as my expectations were set high. What they got right: bartender gave good service. Special cocktails were a tasty treat. Desserts were solid. What could use improvement: the ambiance was a bit stale. No music or TV sound. The food (apps and main dishes) were inconsistent. The spicy chicken and Mac and cheese was good. The pork belly skewers were amazingly pesented. But the pretzel was overcooked and the steak and fries had an over abundance of sub standard fries and an extremely small portion of not so amazing steak. Would I eat there again? Perhaps. Would I go out of my way to do so? Nah. Overall, I would encourage anyone to try them out for themselves. Reviews are subjective and also note the Massachusetts location is new and has only been open for 2 weeks to date.”

“Fun place to enjoy sushi at an affordable price. After watching short clips of this place on social media, my friend and I recently took a visit to try the only revolving sushi bar in the Greater Boston area. Before the visit, we checked the live wait time on their app and were able to grab a table without a wait. As expected, the overall quality of the sushi wasn’t so great, but there were still quite a few dishes we liked. Seared scallop, negitoro, sweet shrimp, squid, and salmon were among my favorites, and the process to re-order these on the screen was quick and easy. However, some of the sushi on the revolving bar seemed a bit dry, so I would recommend manually ordering them from the screen for a better experience.”

“I went to the Grand Opening and I was pleased. I thought it was on par with service, environment, and quality as other Pokeworks locations that I've been to. I thought they did a good job handling orders and still managed to be organized and efficient. The manager (I believe? by the door) was welcoming and staff was nice and patient. They also had Spam Musubi which I have been wanting to try. I had to take my order to go so I could make it work. Rice was still warm when I got home and fish was soft and melted in my mouth. Excited to return. Happy to have this location! It's been tricky trying to go to Harvard or Longwood because of proximity and ease of commute. I've been waiting for this location to open for 3 years since they announced it's initial open of spring of 2020!!”

“So so good! We sat outside on the patio and it was so enjoyable. Our waitress was so attentive and all the questions we had. The food was delicious. We split 5 tapas between 4 people and it was more than enough for us. Get the biscuits, hands down the best item on the menu. Drinks were SO yummy also. Can't wait to go back!”

“I love their açaí bowls a lot. I order the same thing and I highly recommend it: large nutty bowl with peanut butter, goji berries, and cacao nibs on top. It’s so good! Very nice people who work here too — happy to support the local business!”

“The name is deceiving. Don't be fooled this is so much more than a diner. Everything we ordered was amazing. They just opened so be patient, food may take a little longer but boy is it worth the wait. Can't wait for my next visit.”

“Really good bakery with vegan options. We really enjoyed the apple fritters (only available Sunday after 10 am) so much that we forgot to take a picture of it! They also had an interesting pop tart and a vegan lemon raspberry olive oil cake. There's no seating whatsoever. However, there are a couple benches outside, and you can walk to Arlington Center for benches/chairs to sit. Parking could also be slightly challenging since you only really have Mass Ave street parking.”

“Best Persian food I’ve ever had. The food was amazing. The service was great. They delivered it right to our office in the 3rd floor. All of us in the office enjoyed it and the price was great. I ordered family plate #2 for our team, 12 people, and we had extra food left. Definitely will order again”

“I can’t say enough about the menu, where this time we asked for Chef’s Choice and were brought an unending assortment from shrimp and crab cocktail to lobster coquettes, butternut squash ravioli, tuna tartare, their famous pizzas, and their gorgeous desserts, and last but not least their famous, secret recipe homemade lemoncello! Chef Benny always comes out to greet us and his wife Hortenca is the most gracious hostess! We highly recommend!”

“Got the mozzarella dog and sweet potato dog as well as bacon egg and cheese toast with garlic bread (they sold out of the avocado one :( ) The corn dogs were okay for the price but I would definitely order the egg toast again.”

“What a nice place with great service and pleasing atmosphere. We tried the spinach pie, grilled octopus, mixed grill and moussaka. Everything was excellent. The octopus 🐙 was very soft and nicely presented with spinach and beets. The spinach pie had the perfect mix of crispy dough and savory spinach and feta filling. The moussaka melts in your mouth with a variety of flavors and the mixed grill had a chicken and a Greek meatball, lamb skewer and Greek sausage. Crispy french fries and cabbage salad were the perfect addition. We took quite a bit of that home and will enjoy tomorrow. Service was very pleasant and we loved the white tablecloth and cloth napkins. We will be back for sure.”
