“Sammy's pizza is delicious at basically all of its locations and the Hermantown one is no different. The restaurant is roomy and nice inside. The staff is kind and all the ball. Most importantly it's the delicious Sammy's pizza that is so popular throughout the Northland. They have plenty of other things on the menu but it's hard for me to order anything but their delicious pizza. A little expensive, but well worth it.”

“Grandma's is a Duluth tradition and is worth checking out. Was too long a wait when we stopped on Friday night but got right in on Sunday. The French onion soup was perfect, sweet and savory with lots of cheese! Had the seasonal schnitzel sandwich and it was also very good. Fun atmosphere and friendly service topped it off.”

“The night I was there was exceedingly busy. The Lead on the front line looked like he was simultaneously conducting the New York Philharmonic orchestra and landing fighter jets on the deck of a Naval Carrier! He was throwing burritos, tacos and bowls together with expert madness and precision. I heard him tell another Prep Line team member that they had 38 on-line orders on the rack and there was a line out the door. This guy just kept the line moving and under control. He is a high value employee!”

“We sat down and it took a long time for the server to come up to take our orders. Then he was fast with getting orders with the food. Then the food took very long which is understandable. But it shouldn't take that long. Then basically after we got our food, we didn't see our server at all. Then we got our bill and just basically sat there waiting for him to come back. We even asked each other if the server forgot where we were. The food was good and the server was good, too. Just the time it took for everything was very annoying.”

“Wonderful service. I didn't have time to eat in so, I ordered take-out. Vietnamese egg rolls were rolled up tight and the taste was all that I hoped they would be. I also enjoyed the springrolls which are served cold with oyster sauce for dipping. Very refreshing. I ended lunch with a grilled pork noodle salad also very refreshing. Altogether, my bill came to around and the service was good.”

“We stayed at the Water's Edge hotel in Duluth last night (Sunday) ordered pizza, was a nice surprise to see a deal for "late night" pizza $9.99 lg. Anyway, pizza was delivered to our room, it was hot and delicious, the dude even brought us plates and cups which was great because I forgot to ask even though I ordered a 2 liter. I know this is probably common sense to bring plates and cups for a hotel delivery but you all know common sense isn't all that common anymore!! High fives and congrats to Papa Johns in Duluth from our family for running a great shop and knowing how to serve your clients! Needless to say we will remember this for next time we're here!!!”
