“Great local vibe and delicious, freshly made food. My meatballs were obviously made there and were light with great Italian seasoning. The sauce, made on site, was not overcooked or acid, but was tomato sweet. My spouse's vegetable dish surprised us with the generous amount and was complex and nicely grilled. You have to try the octopus fries, fun and quite tasty. There is live music on the weekends.”

“New little bistro in Sergeantsville, NJ. Clean and welcoming interior, and outdoor dining was created with a lot of attention to detail. Service was very friendly and welcoming. My dining partner had a breakfast sandwich which was one of the best she ever had. I had the smash burger - extremely tasty, but my criticism is the ratio of bun vs. burger - it's a 4oz. patty (they offer on the menu an extra patty at an extra charge), and the bite seems to be 80% bun to 20% meat - was very noticeable and distracting. I may be the lone critic for this, but maybe consider a 6oz or 8oz burger? The smaller burger already goes for $11, so they may have to charge a LOT more to accomplish this. The other critical issue were the fries. Crispy and hot, but they were buried in seasoning other than just salt - we found them overwhelming - most expect fries to be just that, fries with some salt. Bottom line, we left happy, it was one of those things that it "would have been nicer if........" situations. But do try this new place out, it looks like their other offerings are terrific!”

“Seating was the Charm: Clams Casino, Surf & Turf, and Rack of Lamb all done quite well, and very much appreciated the sides (mashed potatoes and asparagus) were equally as good. Deserts were indeed excellent, especially the cheesecake. The Mousse cake has some actual black cake in it, if you're not into that sorta thing, but it was delicious. Coffee was weak and terrible and the cups they use aren't good either. Service excellent, as is the ambiance. Looks like a fun place to have an outdoor private party. I suggest they get a lobster tank to improve the surf & turf, frozen tails just doesn't cut it. Mixed drinks on the small side. There's great seating choices at this place, inside and out. $100 for two people with each person getting a drink, appetizer, meal, dessert and coffee-- so pretty good value for a soup-to-nuts experience.”

“My favorite taco place in the area. The restaurant is minimalistic and the staff speak ok English (sometimes you have to explain yourself a little), but that’s ok! I come for the food anyways. Which let me tell you, is one of the best and most authentic Mexican, not texmex, around! The tacos are delicious, simple, good portioned and reasonably priced. “Great addition to Cape May ! Super fresh local fish at the counter, with lots of delicious lunch options to choose from. Bonus little farm stand inside with some fresh fruits and veggies, provisions like fresh made bruschetta, seaweed salad, mango salad, chips and pretzels, sauces, desserts, etc. They were super accommodating when I said I needed lobster salad to make some “semi-homemade” rolls at home, priced it out for me by the pound, with rolls and lemons from the indoor farm stand. Grabbed a variety of different chips and was on my way! The family loved the lobster rolls, huge chunks of fresh juicy lobster meat lightly dressed. Very friendly, family owned and operated team. We will definitely be back to try more of their staple sandwiches to bring to the beach!”

“We dined in on a Sunday around noon. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and welcoming. The cooking staff were very busy. The employee calling the order number and handing customers their order seemed less than happy. We had to wipe down our table before sitting, adding to the crumbs already on the floor.”

“So, I waited a week for things to calm down as this place just opened 2/29/24. I love their food as they have all type of toppings and no fake meat. I highly recommend giving them a try, but heads up, there is not a lot of seating inside. I did order inside, but I did not eat it there. “Love this restaurant! A lot of food to choose from and very tasty. So nice to also have fresh fruit that you can choose from and that they also have salad and ramen. “I really wanted to like it. But, I didn't. The fries were hard to chew, extremely overcooked. The pork sandwich was bland. The sandwich is packed with meat and veggies, but lacks flavor. The veggies are very good but that couldn't help the tasteless pork. The meatball Parm was also stacked. However it the meatballs were a bit dry. I expected a juicier meatball. It had lot of filler. The sauce was very good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant is clean. You can watch them cook. With a limited menu, I just expected more. I did get there around 3. Maybe the food is better earlier in the day.”

“I've been to quite a few buffet places in my time, especially with three kids who all like different foods. The place was clean and well run. We were seated immediately and drinks came out fast. Took the kids on a tour of the buffet to see what they had and I have to say they had so much it was almost overwhelming. The sushi selection was better than any other buffet places I have been to and the dessert selection was great. Everything I ate was really good and I would definitely go back in the future.”

The sushi is good and there's a lot of it and everything else is usually really good too. “The long awaited opening! Lines both in and out were huge, but at least inside, they moved quickly. We ordered the Box Combo, 4 tenders, fries, cole slaw, Texas toast, and a drink. Prices seemed to be on the high side compared to other chicken places. The chicken was very moist and tender! Breading is good too, but not crispy. Potatoes were fresh but not seasoned, so make sure to ask for salt/pepper. Cole slaw was creamy and crisp. Toast was nice size, and good. Staff was super friendly, and despite working out new place bugs, very quick! Dining room is much nicer than other chicken places!”

“This place is the real deal for our town. Awesome, thoughtful layout with plenty of space. The bar is the main attraction. Nice wood accents, comfy seats, and the bartenders we had were top notch. So friendly and patient as they are all clearly working out the best ways to do things. The outside bar is icing on the cake! The beers on tap are local and awesome choices. Kane, Magnify, Brotherton, Double Nickle, Cape May... it's just really nice to have a good beer bar nearby. We just did apps, which were hot and brought out quickly! Overall, we can't wait to see this place flourish. Bobby Ray, I know it was a loooong time coming, so cheers and congrats! This is our new spot!”

“The Atmosphere was really Clean, The Service was Super Friendly. Alicia and Sandy were Great bartenders. The food was the Best part. The Wings were Juicy, Crispy and Hot. The Burger was a real handmade patty of Angus beef that was Juciy and Delicious. The Italian Sausage Pizza was on par with higher scale pizza places. The Bread and dough were cooked perfectly and sauce and cheese complimented it perfect. This is a must try for a place to get food and a drink. They did say they were still new and tweaking menu items and willing to hear feedback for Pros and Cons, so very accommodating.”

“We had a great experience visiting Al Baraka yesterday. It has great selection of so many Middle Eastern food. They have the greatest price for the Halal meat and chicken and it’s fresh. The owner is very welcoming and super friendly. It’s going to be our go to place for Halal grocery shopping from now on. “It was my first time at Falafel King and I got to say the food and service were fantastic. I got the Sam's combo, falafel, hummus, pita bread and some cocktail juices and classic sodas. Everything tasted amazing and the wait time was very short. It came with a side of garlic dip which tasted great with the meal. The employees/owners were very kind and welcoming - even nice enough to offer me a free beverage. The service and meal were overall 10/10. I will definitely be back to try everything else!”

“Right behind the brewery, I was given the suggestion to try Swerve's by another local business, so I grabbed some friends and stopped by for an early dinner. You can eat in a nice inside designed to have comedy or live music, or outside, it was sunny so we chose outside. I had the pulled pork tacos w/ BBQ & Cole slaw and it was delicious! The pork was cooked perfectly, the sauce was unique, and the coleslaw contrasted well. I got the mean beans as a side and tried the mac too, both were nice but the beans were best! Staff were kind and happy to talk. Highly recommend and I'll be coming back.”
