“Decided to try Tacos el Gordo after passing it for a year now, dangg do I regret waiting so long!! I got 3 steak tacos and 3 pupusas with which he was kind enough to throw in extra salsa verde. Great small space to grab a coffee and work from but don’t be alarmed you have to pay for a membership fee for laptop spaces. “We stopped at Loretta’s after an event in Pineville. The food was good home cooking the kind that sticks to your ribs. I had the shepherd’s pie it was very good. Since I have never had it before I have nothing to compare it to. It was seasoned very well and full of pork, beef and vegetables covered with real mashed potatoes I highly recommend it. Loretta’s was very clean and the service was awesome.”

“Don’t normally leave reviews, but they asked me to when I walked in the store to pick up an order, so here we are. Been there twice. First time they didn’t have any of it done on time, and then they told me they were out of what I ordered, but they could sub some ingredients, which was fine. I paid an up charge for what they ran out of, and I didn’t get any of it back, so basically I just overpaid. The second time I went, there was barely any avocado (in the “avocado bowl”, and what was there was super brown. Otherwise the bowl was fine. Practically twice as much as Chipotle, but not as good and the ingredients don’t seem as fresh.”

“Ice cream is delicious and cuban coffee is a must considering there aren't many places around Charlotte that have this kind of expresso shot. Yes, I see the other reviewers rating with one star reviews but only making references to the service. They are right, but you also need to review the ice-cream and the quality of the ingredients etc. Service is not up to par with other ice cream shops like Rita's for example, but they are not as bad either. They just need to work harder at staffing their locations with a bit friendlier employees. Ice cream is good and fresh and specialty Cuban coffee is as close as you can get if you have had it in South Florida.”

“I visited Joy’s Biryani N Kababs on a Thursday afternoon a couple of hours before my flight out of Charlotte. It was a wonderful experience replete with warm hosts, delicious food, and cleanliness inside the restaurant. I got the 555 chicken—it tasted pretty good, I loved the sauce that they finished it with. The Kadhai chicken tasted just the right amount of spicy and hit the spot. The garlic naans were good too. The restaurant is unassuming, and there’s parking outside. I plan to visit this often once I move to Charlotte soon. Thank you for everything.”

“Great ambiance! Choice of seating from high tops to tables to private dining area. All the details from the artwork to the bathroom decor is A++. The cauliflower appetizer was good and just enough crispness, the pastrami sandwich was flavorful and very filling with the side of skinny fries. The Creme brûlée was slightly underdone. I like it to be a little ‘jiggly’ but it was very liquid like. I am assuming not enough time to set. While I would not get that dessert again, I do plan to return and try one of their cocktails and other food items. Glad you’re here The Garrison!”

“Yup, it’s legit and GOOD. Every Asian person and their mom is here on a weekend evening. You can share 1 hot pot noodle dish and get 2-3 appetizers and you’ll be set for two people. Soup’s boiling hot, cold dishes are cold, authentically (and boldly!) seasoned and prepared. Try the chicken gizzard and beef tendon! 5/5 flavor, service, and quality. “This place was so good! I stopped in here after work one afternoon and was immediately intrigued. Chipotle - but salad bar! Or you could always make a wrap. They had a ton of different types of greens, meats, toppings, dressings to choose from. All were fresh! One of my biggest pet peeves when you go to a place like this is when you see the lettuce/ etc is brown or just not good. But not here! The portions are pretty big also- I got a small salad (picture listed!) The staff was super helpful and nice, and the restaurant itself was clean and pretty inside!”

“We were shopping in the area and took a chance on this restaurant. Our server, Aiden, was really nice & he was helpful with our menu selection. My husband ordered three tacos and I got one and we also had nacho and salsa. I really enjoyed the tacos. They had a nice flavor! Filet mignon in my taco was perfect! My husband is quite the cook and he said he was really impressed. We live nearly 40 miles away, but we will definitely come back the next time we are in the area. Delicious!”

“This Shell gas station has hot food inside and That's why I'm tagging this gas station. KRISPY KRUNCHY CHICKEN on the inside is actually pretty good! Especially when it's fresh! I almost never get gas station food, but one time we randomly stopped here and happen to get some and it was fresh and really good! We've gotten the chicken tenders and potato wedges. When it's fresh it's actually better than Bojangles! Don't forget the honey mustard! It's definitely better than Bojangles. I would have taken pics of the food but I forgot and I was Hungry!”
