“Steaming hot chicken till the last bite! I took it home to eat, about 45 minutes away...thought had to reheat it when I did get home but it turn out the chicken was still steaming hot! “Another great find! Wilson's Eatery is an old warehouse that had been covered to a restaurant. Inside had plenty of open, spacious seating, with a bat area that looks fully stocked. There is also plenty of seating outside. Ordering is done at one end of a counter with food picked up at the other. The kitchen is open and behind the counter where you can watch your food being prepared. The menu has a wide selection of items to choose from including vegetarian (and possibly vegan). I watched all the orders coming up while I waited for mine and everything looked amazing! I got the cheeseburger, Ell Bell's Double Cheeseburger, with an order of Belgian Fries, and was not disappointed! The burger was perfectly cooked with the right amount of toppings. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just like fries should be! I'm looking forward to going back to try other menu items.”

I will be returning to this location soon. The food was hot and delicious! Also, the left door is broken, so be careful, not to pull the handle, since it is currently locked. “If you’re like me and are trying to use the rest of your GoPlay&Save coupons, don’t bother going to Jerry’s Grill. I made the mistake of driving over there only to find out that they are no longer honoring the coupon. I suppose when the new owners took over, they got to pick and choose which liabilities and assets they would take on. Not fair to me the consumer! In my opinion if you still use Jerry’s name, you should still honor the good deed that was done for our school children when they placed the coupon in the GoPlay@Save book. On a side note, the new owner is much nicer, yet the burgers are smaller and not as tasty. Who knows, they might have tasted better had they not refused to honor a valid coupon .”

“Where to start, four of us had an amazing dinner here the other evening. I must admit that when I saw that the Glenwood Grill was in a small strip mall, I was thinking this wont be that great.....Boy, was I wrong!!! The atmosphere is very nice and in addition to that, the staff is very attentive and professional while personable. All four of us loved our meal from salads to dessert and everything in between. I had a chicken dish and it was exceptional, the sear on it was packed with flavors. Everyone else had seafood dishes and they were just as happy.”

We ordered chopped plate, combo pulled and fried chicken as waiter raved on it. The food came out extremely fast and we commented on that. Pulled pork in fried chicken collards and mac and cheese sodas. The hush puppies and biscuits were hard and cold. As was the fried chicken that's why the service was so quick. It had been sitting and was not prepared fresh. Very disappointed a much different experience than in the past. Definitely did not receive the value expected for the price. Not sure I can recommend.”

“I always walk past this place and see a long line and to be honest I thought it would be overhyped. A lot of the nicer restaurants in Raleigh have mediocre food at a high price point. I went here for brunch and I was impressed. All the food I tried was flavorful, and not something I could easily make myself. It really feels like they put effort into each dish. The only downside is that the portion sizes are not very big and the food took a bit long to come out. To be honest I was a little hung over so it probably felt worse than it actually was. I would definitely go here again. Just not when I'm starving. ????”

My super fun party of four visited Pooleside Pies last night and we loved it! Although, it’s no surprise that this is a top-notch, super hip and fun place to stuff your face because all of the AC restaurants are equally awesome. Our waitress, Maegan R., did a great job explaining the menu and letting us know they had one of our Raleigh-favorite drafts ready to pour!
