“I'm visiting at Bend Oregon from Seattle. I came to eat some bakeries for breakfast around 8am. Parking lot was full but you can park across the street. I ordered warm Raisin Cinnamon Roll, Almond Croissant and Cappuccino. After waiting for my drink...already long lines. I find this to be a popular place. My cinnamon and almond croissant are light taste and not so sweet. Cappuccino is a great flavor. I enjoyed watching the customers and dogs. Love that atmosphere here.”

“A quaint diner serving up incredible home-style goodness with some fresh twists, and knock-your-socks-off brunchy cocktails. The hash browns were some of the best ever. So buttery and lightly crisped. Omelettes were packed with freshness, including generous chunks of crab in the crab omelette. Special requests were met without a qualm. The service was great, including tourist help from a local (saved us a lot of money). Oh, and try the candied bacon. Wow!”

“A place that doesn't over roast and burn the beans. They care about the integrity of the bean and flavor, not how much caffeine they can squeeze out of it by over roasting it. Something that is almost impossible to find anymore great coffee and great food. I was surprised to find they served food and even have a wood fired oven for pizza. I had their Italian grinder sandwich with an Americano coffee to chase it down. It was absolutely delicious and worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.”

“Really a pleasure to enjoy the Crab Cake breakfast special today. Lots of crab! No filler but maybe an egg to hold them together. Everything on the plate was perfect: scrambled eggs, hash browns, sourdough toast, tartar and jam. This is a small operation but really deserving of our support. UPDATE: it’s been a year but today we had the amazing Baked French toast with a middle layer of pecans, topped with a Marionberry compote. Wife ate a Southwest plate with Black and Pinto whole beans, Spanish rice and greens with Avocado and tortillas. This is also a winner and Cafe Nye is Better than ever! Service was great! Five stars again”

When I am there I'm often doing my little humming happy dance thing I do when something is wonderfully delicious. Their drink specials are ALWAYS wonderful. Right now the turmeric coffee drink they have is out of this world. Their treats are ALWAYS so prefecture flavored and baked. The staff are always wonderful. I love them all so much. They do their best to remember your name. And the building is just beautiful. This is a locals spot and a tourist attraction so it gets really busy sometimes but there's never much of a wait.”
