“We have been looking forward to dining at De La Terre for a few weeks, and are very pleased! To have a higher end dining experience like this in Downingtown is welcome and refreshing. Right from the start, including how we were greeted, seated and treated we knew we were in for a wonderful time. The atmosphere is pleasant, tables are spaced out nicely, and the decor all added up to a great time. We could hear our own conversations at the table but not those of the other diners. There was a perfect balance of ambience and low level music. The staff was attentive, friendly, smiling and knowledgeable. You can tell these people know how to run a great restaurant. Our food was all perfectly prepared and served in a relaxing pace. Our appetizers included oysters, escargot, and the cheese plate. Our main courses were the king bay salmon, the gnocchi, the venison and the duck. All delicious! Every detail from the initial champagne toast to the little chocolate treats and French press coffee at the end were perfect! Go and enjoy this new and exciting establishment! Such a treat compared to all the other mediocre places you can find everywhere else. Finally!!!!”

“Adorable convenient little drive through taco stand. For the price the tacos are small and the birria is very bland but the sauces are good. The flan was very good but the tres leches cake was ok. I think the cake at El Tarasco is the best and it's just down the street from this spot. I do love the convenience of a drive through taco place especially now that I know I can order ahead park and they'll bring it right to me. Even though I didn't order ahead they were very quick and efficient. I just wish you got more than 5 little tacos for $13-15 dollars. I probably will try a few more items to see if there are other items worth the money besides the flan.”

The wine was so flavorful, I have to come back to just pick up a bottle of wine 🍾 for the weekend because it was so good! “really good crispy chicken sandwiches and hot, fresh, crispy boardwalk style fries! everything comes out fresh and hot and the chicken is tender & juicy. my only complaint is that the cost of a sandwich + fries combo is a little bit expensive for a counter service place, but I guess that’s just how it is these days. Also their “Nashville” style is sweet-hot, not a true red-hot. I don’t mind it personally but it’s not true nashville style.”

“This place rocks for a variety of reasons: 1. the food's great; 2. the atmosphere is great (live music on certain days and an overall happening atmosphere); and 3. the husband and wife team that run this eatery are great. I was stationed in South Korea for a year where I developed a taste for the food, and I can say that the food this place serves is even better then what I had in Korea. I think it's due to better quality ingredients and the American spin this couple adds to their dishes. Great place, my wife Cynthia and I highly recommend it.”

“DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS AMAZING NEW RESTAURANT IN KSQ. Looking for a quick lunch after Longwood Gardens, the universe brought us to Sweet Amelia’s. The vegetable-forward menu caught my eye (as a vegetarian, I’ve come to accept that not every restaurant is veg-friendly. Luckily I really love hummus platters!), but the TASTE of each plate stopped me in tracks. I only had the presence of mind to capture a photo of the bbq oyster mushroom gyro (THAT TZATZIKI THO 😍), but we had the pleasure of also tasting the togarashi potatoes, romanesco squash. Possibly my favorite dish was the carrot skordalia - whose bright flavor surprised me so much I had to get more information. Chef Zack took time out of his kitchen prep to field our over-eager questions (and wax poetic about the local food scene). I love when life takes you on delightful and unexpected culinary adventures! We are already planning a second trip.”

“Antonia’s is going to be a new staple in our house and should be in yours as well! We ordered a half pepperoni square pie and it was incredible. I love the little slices of pepperoni and the cheese that they finish the pizzas with after they come out of the oven. The crust is amazing. It’s not overly doughy in the way a lot of square/Sicilian pies can be, but still dense enough to give you all of the flavors of their homemade dough. And I love the charring from the oven - no burnt flavors whatsoever and a perfect crunch and crisp to it. More than just the dough though, the sauce and cheese have so much flavor that when you put it all together you get the best pizza in Kennett Square, bar none. Can’t wait to taste my way through the rest of their pizza menu. PS - the chocolate chip cookies are 🔥”

“The decor of the shop was very warm and cozy. The employees were very nice and friendly. They greeted us as soon as we came in and waited for us to look at the menu before ordering. The food and drinks were just okay. I got avacado toast which were just three little pieces of toast with a bit of mashed avacado and a bit of seasoning. The pumpkin bread was good but it would be better if they warmed it for you. The macarons and chocolate donuts were good but not stored at the proper temperature so I'd recommend letting them sit to come to room temperature for best enjoyment. The energy balls were good but the flavor was a little off. I think it just might be I prefer mine made with a different type of peanut butter. My chai tea was bland in flavor but my spouse said his coffee was very good. I will probably come back when it's warmer out to try their smoothies and other food items to get a better idea of what good to get here.”

“Celebrated Father's day yesterday and enjoyed the most delicious meal. The owners were welcoming, courteous, and professional. The dining space is beautifully decorated and immaculate. I am Jamaican 🇯🇲and my husband is Haitian 🇭🇹formerly from Brooklyn, so we know authentic Caribbean food. Service was attentive and efficient. I loved the owner and my husband speaking in their native language of Haiti 🇭🇹 Now, the food: oxtails tender, griot tender with pikliz delicious, white rice, djon djon, rice n beans well cooked, jerk chicken nice char, soup joumou and beef Bouyon hot and delicious. D&G Ginger beer is my favorite Jamaican soda. We got the family meal 3 apps, 3 entrees, 3 sides. When I retired recently from Chester County Hospital I thought I would never be making the long commute from New London anymore, except for doctors appointments, but I DEFINITELY will be making the 45 minute commute to Manje. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Can't wait to return. Trust me when I say BEST CARIBBEAN FOOD in CHESCO, Newark DE, Bear DE, and Wilmington DE. Upon my recent visit, the quality and quantity of the food has gone downhill, price remains the same. Here’s the advice for management - please increase the food quantity while maintaining authentic quality, if not consider reducing prices. Also, during busy hours consider adding more staff to attend to tables. There are so many great alternatives in the Exton, however we root for this restaurant to succeed, being the first of its kind to serve Karnataka cuisine.”

“A cool trendy restaurant but lacking in flavor. For the price it seems like you're paying more for presentation than quality of food. The kimchi was about as spicy as a red pepper flakes, the Hakata beef ramen was bland, and the sunflower roll had very little fish and was a little overly sweet. The service was inconsistent, my daughter was half way done with her ramen before I even got my sushi. The waiter was pretty busy so he didn't pay us much attention and wasn't able to answer my questions clearly. He had to go back and ask because he didn't know about menu items. Some items on their extensive menu he said they've never had and thinks they're served at the KOP location. If you don't serve it then take it off the menu. The style of the restaurant was very cozy and modern. The seating was comfortable and the restaurant was very clean and organized from what I could see. Overall the food was definitely not worth the price. I'd rather go to Ramen Kumamoto which isn't too far from here and their food is much more flavorful. This restaurant has a great appeal and location but I don't think I'd go back.”

“The store is biggest in size around the area. Ample car parking , easily accessible from the road. But if you are new to the area, getting in and out of the tabas lane is moderate difficult. Since the traffic flow will be moderate to high. Attached meat shop, restaurent, Togo food in the same complex but run under Asian halal. Apna bazaar itselfs carries fresh produce , Indian grocers , variety of unique Indian items , vessels , frozen section , Pooja items , covered some South Indian snacks. I cannot pick specific product but shelf items check for expiration. Easy to maneuver carts inside the aisles- one way though if some one on your direction (not like many stores around ) Carts are available at the entrance and easy to put it back in place. Active staffs , smile on their face is much needed when facing the customer at POS. Today my checkout staffs was welcoming though. Will recommend anyone to come and take a look of the store and amazed by their collection.”
