“My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Whistling Swan Inn to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. It was a quiet & comfortable inn, with a delicious complimentary, freshly made breakfast every morning. The staff members at the Whistling Swan are also accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They stored our cake topper in their freezer until ready for my husband and I to eat! Lastly, the Whistling Swan Inn is in a great location. Located directly across Founders Square in Fish Creek and walking distance to almost everything in Fish Creek. We definitely recommend staying at the Whistling Swan Inn when you visit Door County!”

“Very good fish boil. Owner who boils the fish provides an informative commentary as he goes about his work, and is always ready to answer questions. Tasty, small piece of cherry pie comes with the fish boil. Acceptable seating indoors or outside. Building is OK, but hasn't been renovated or updated in ages.”

“I will have to give this place 5 stars. We it was our first time here and it was great place to stop and have Sunday lunch. The staff was so courteous and professional. We sat upstairs and they had a piano player playing music ( great sense of humor the man had). The service was fast and the food was delicious. We will certainly come back and see what I Friday or Saturday night looks like.”

“My husband and I had dinner tonight at Barringer's and it was a great experience. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was excellent- we haven't had shrimp that tasty since Key West. And our main courses - crab cakes and cod - were both filling and flavorful. That's particularly important for cod, since the fish itself is somewhat bland. Good service and good atmosphere. Not inexpensive, but worth a splurge.”

“Definitely a top ice cream option in Fish Creek. The number of flavor and topping options is huge. You create just about whatever flavor you want. The custard is creamy and delicious, and with the portion sizes, you are definitely getting your money’s worth! Even when they’re busy, the wait is typically not too long. The location is very convenient from any part of Fish Creek as well.”

“Located a level higher than the street below, delicious food with accommodating staff. The here is on the pricier side, but also very delicious. That staff was very attentive and courteous. (Shout out to our waiter Luis!) My wife and I went with the Bang Bang Chicken and Red Chile Beef. We found both dishes to be spicy, the chicken much more so than the beef, but not so much that it over-powered the flavor. For dessert, we split a Banana Foster's Crepe. I found it to be a very nice location for a date-night with your significant other.”

“Loved eating here last month! Had to wait a bit to be seated but they were friendly and responsive and the buzzer allowed us to wander in the nearby area. The food was AMAZING. Just one burger on the menu but it was SO GOOD and husband's chicken salad sandwich was delicious too. Prices matched the quality of the food and the location right in Fish Creek on 42. Covered patio was lovely and they allowed our dog to sit with us. Great experience!”

“The Beef Wellington special is fantastic. Hopefully you are there on a night when we have it. If you are looking for something more upscale in Door County this is a lovely place. The interior decor reminds me of a comfy old school supper club with a nice outdoor area they added a few years back. We had a large enough group that we qualified for the free lobster tail special which was a nice bonus. Glad to see this place maintains its quality for the many, many years we have gone here.”

“Beautiful restaurant. Warm welcoming staff. A acoustic guitar duo provided music in the bar area. They have beautiful outside and indoor dining. The food was so VERY FRESH! We saw people dressed casually enjoying fine dining. They have outside fire pits. We ate at a bar top table in the bar while listening to the wonderful music. Ample parking - one of the reasons we chose to have dinner there. First time visiting this restaurant. We consider this to be a restaurant offering wonderful food and great atmosphere. “Outdoor Fine Dining. We were headed to eat somewhere else but my wife always likes to eat on the water and preferably, outside. We also like excellent food. As we decided to skip our original destination, we walked over here to check it out. The outside looked great. Once we saw the name, we realized it was a place we had heard as highly rated. The service here is extremely professional, just as fine dining, even though the setting is very casual. The menu is top-notch and refined. We enjoyed the meal, the evening, and the experience. It's a little pricey, so not an every night sort of thing, but if you know and appreciate fine restaurant experience, and don't want to eat indoors, then you will love this.”

My hot dog was good, served with a bag of chips and relish in a packet with a side of fresh sliced tomato and lettuce, and priced well. “First, this place was colorful, fun, and had a cheery atmosphere right from the start. We came for late breakfast, I had the quiche of the day which comes with fresh fruit and a perfectly moist muffin. The serving size was perfect and the food was deliciously fresh! My hubby got an equally satisfying breakfast. We loved it so much we skipped our previous plans for the next day and ate here again! “We just got home from a week up at Peninsula State park and we stopped at Casey's twice this week for the best BBQ Ribs in the area. We were able to sit outside in back of the restaurant with a view that over looks the bay. Service was great, oh did I mention the haystack onion rings? What a great lunch. “Cute, nice place to get ice cream along the main road that goes through Egg Harbor. Either find a lot or street parking and take a nice stroll up and down the street. But be sure to stop on by. A good amount of flavors to pick from and cute seating outdoors on a nice sunny day to enjoy your treat. They also sell delicious homemade fudge and gourmet popcorn. Would definitely recommend.”
