““Life Soup Korean Restaurant”! This is the name of this restaurant. For someone who likes Korean-style soups and stews, it was the name of a restaurant that I felt like I had to go and try. In conclusion, I definitely want to go next time and try other Korean soups and stews. In particular, next time I really want to try Gamjatang (M6: Pork Back-bone Stew), which is spicy and made with pork backbone. The first soup I tried at this restaurant was Ox Knee Soup (Do-Ga-Knee Ttang). The doga-knee soup is very attractive with the white-milky, soft but chewy meat that comes out of the ox knee. I was curious to see a spicy picture for this ox knee soup on the menu, so I ordered it. When the food I ordered came out, I realized that its picture on the menu was incorrect, and it was the same looking as I know. When I looked at the soup, it seemed a bit thick, so I sprinkled some black pepper powder on it, took do-ga-knee meats out of the soup, and dipped them in the vinegar-soy sauce-based sauce that came with them. As expected, it is the delicious do-ga-knee soup that I know. After enjoyed do-ga-knee meats and soup, I put steamed white rice into the soup and ate it. It tasted a little bland, so I added a little radish kimchi broth to adjust the soup's taste, making it more delicious. Looking at other people around me, I noticed that they were eating gam-ja-tang (pork back-bone stew), and I thought I should definitely try gamjatang at this restaurant. I was able to end my lunch with the thought that I would definitely come back to eat gamjatang next time.”

“My best friend and I made a 2pm reservation and we arrived at 1:40pm. The hostess was really nice and told us to give her a few minutes. We sat down in a nice booth and were greeted shortly after by Ava. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! The service was beyond amazing and the music was on point!!! “Very clean with a cozy interior. My daughter and I had shrimp tempura udon and unagi don. There was a side of bulgogi for my 2 year old daughter, and she loved it!! I could immediately tell that they used fresh ingredients to make high quality food. I togoed some rolls, and they were phenomenal. The service was really good even though they were busy. The server was very friendly and kept checking on us to see if everything was good. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for your go-to sushi place!! This is going to be my new fav spot.”

“Due South Restaurant is a nice place to eat with a beautiful view of the Ohio River, overlooking Kentucky. There will be a bar inside soon. They are still remodeling but they are open for operation when we visited 07/12/2024. The pulled pork was delicious. Seating was nice and they will soon have seating out on a patio with a nice view of the river. Everything was very clean and the atmosphere was nice. The price was about $10-$15 per person for a meal. Options for racks of ribs for $15 - $20. There are camp sites for $30 per night, rooms for $100 and cabins for $150 per night. The campground outside looks well kept. We will definitely be visiting this location again soon. It has a lot of potential.”
