“Excellent. First time at Alabama Biscuit and I hate I waited so long. We found out that this was the first day open for this location. They were not busy, but everything was handled well so I expect they would be fine when busy. Friendly staff, nice interior (a little loud) with nice wood tables. Grits, Pear Bis-cake, Alabama biscuit were very tasty. Don’t be put off that the biscuits don’t look like your Grandma’s, they taste great. It is not inexpensive, but for us it was worth it. We could see into the kitchen and see the staff slicing fresh fruit for the pear bus-cake.”

“I met my brother here on a Thursday evening. Thankfully we had reservations as ppl were being turned away. The atmosphere is fine hipster dining, if that's a thing. They have an extensive menu for omnivores to vegans and everything between! We missed happy hour just barely by it deserves mentioning the deals are great for apps and drinks! Overall, we were satisfied with our food. Our favorite was the itchy sea bass. I've eaten sea bass all over and this preparation is one of my favorites. Not the healthiest but delicious! The staff were pleasant too. Our waiter wasn't very attentive but the host and other staff were kind at every turn. I certainly recommend giving them a try! So many choices, you'll have to go more than just once!”

“It's not the most fabulous place but my food is always hot. I get the 10pc honey mustard with lemon pepper and Cajun ranch fries and large lemonade. The bomb!!! Can eat some now and some for later.”

“Birmingham!!! Where y’all at!?? Saturday morning and you should be at this dope af coffee shop. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice girl who was informative about the menu and super nice. The coffee was delicious. Nice and hot too! The bagel with salmon and breakfast burrito was soooooo good! The wait was a couple minutes longer than other places but you can tell it’s cause they make everything fresh to order! That’s what I like baby. I am from out of town but I would so come back. Please take a minute and go check this place out!”

“Went in here today to study with my wife for a few hours, and it is such a cool little place! The biscuits are heavenly, the turkey melt she got was phenomenal. The coffee was awesome and served in cool, can-shaped glass cups with metal straws! LOVE ♻️ free Wi-fi, plenty of seating, and plentiful outlets! This will be a studying frequent for us! The only thing that was a downside was when we were there, there were two kids there that I believe were the children of the server that took our order so they were there the entire 3 hours we were and they weren’t quiet most of the time either. Some headphones and white noise helped, but just wanted to put that out there for those who are more sensory overload sensitive.”

“The pizza was amazing as well as the drinks and entire atmosphere of the restaurant. I sat at the bar with Wade as our bartender and he was absolutely amazing. He continuously checked on us while also making great food and drink suggestions. Overall I had an amazing time!”

“Probably the best Poke bowl I had. High quality fish, large portions, well seasoned, no fishy aftertaste, rice is delicious and warm. A little pricy but well worth it”

“I came here with a group of 8 for my birthday a few weeks ago and I’ve been torn about how to review this place. The aesthetic is gorgeous and so cute and festive for getting friends together and pictures. Great environment! The service was great, I felt that our food came out in a timely manner without any pestering. Good menu selection and the food we had was very tasty. Where things went south was I noticed that part of the chicken on my biscuit looked underdone. I figured it would be fine and I’d eat around it. I let the manager know and she apologized and asked if I’d like them to make me another dish. I felt like this was the wrong response. 1. I have already eaten, I don’t want more food and 2. She put the responsibility on me to further advocate for myself to make it right. At the moment, I was just a little disappointed but later that night I got VERY sick and wished I had pushed for something to make it right. So, I am tempted to try this place again but honestly the idea makes me anxious.”

“By far the best macarons in town. I did a macaron tour in DC recently and none compared there either. I rate their macarons in my top 3. The other two are in Paris. They also did a beautiful, custom tower for my wedding! The bon bons are delicious as well. That one star review I suspect is fake or personal.”

“Oh hell.. this place makes absolutely bomb sandwiches. I’m going to want one all the time now. ☠️ The shop is inside of a coffee shop called Cala coffee that is also great. So happy that we have 2 new local businesses that are bringing style and quality to the area. I definitely recommend both. 👍🏼”

“It’s a amazing store. They have good beer collection and they take good care of customers and the store is super clean, well maintained by staff. Its really amazing convenience store to stop by they have all kinds of food like pizza, wings, chips…which are my favorite food from them. Another good thing about the store is they have good collection of vapes and CBD stuff. I appreciate you guys for taking care of everything I need. Thank you keep going ❤️🔥💯”

“You can purchase a 14” specialty or custom pizza, or pizza by the slice. They’ve also got a 14” gluten free and 12” cauliflower crust option available for whole pizzas for an extra charge. They have indoor seating at tables or at the bar and an outdoor patio which is dog friendly. Lots of high chairs for the kiddos but no booster seats. Food came out fast and was really good. Very nice area and pleasant atmosphere. I bet the lights on the patio look really nice when it’s dark out. Patio could use more shade for the tables during the hot summer days, perhaps they could add some screens or umbrellas? The bartender wearing crocks (Brandon maybe?) was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely eat here again.”

“My meal ran around 15$, the chicken cheese steak was fairly good. The fries are just regular fries not seasoned or anything. The restaurant is in the old Taco Bell building, so it is fairly eat to get in and out. This is also not the only location in Birmingham. It is not the best chess steak out there but I would rate it as a 8/10. I recommend you stop by and grab a bite.”

“Look, DO NOT go by the reviews, take a trip and find out for yourself. After reading the reviews, I didn't even want to go, but I was looking for catfish yesterday and didn't want to cook. I walked in thinking I was going to need a mask for the smell(from reviews), the place DOES NOT smell bad at all. There was 2 men working, one younger than the other and both were kind and patient, because I asked a lot of questions trying to make a combo with everything I wanted and saw, lol(they have plenty of options). The food is priced very reasonable, fresh, and cooked to order. I ordered a 3pc catfish filled with 2 sides(okra & fries) and it was right at $11, so I added 5 jumbo shrimp($1 each). The fries are like home cut fries(love those). The catfish is real. All of the food, not just the batter, is seasoned very well. I really enjoyed it. It was so much food packed in there I still had some left. I didn't want to throw it away because it was so delicious, but I don't eat reheated fried food. I cooked some cheese grits and just put the fish and okra in the air fryer and OMG, it taste like it did yesterday crunchy and all. Very good. I WILL RETURN. Don't take my word or no one else's. Go try it yourself. The pictures does it no justice. It taste better than the pictures look.”

“The food itself was absolutely delicious. The green sauce was probably the best I have ever had. The women serving the food were beautiful and very sweet. The only thing that I didn’t like was the portion size, although there was a lot of chicken on the quesadilla, they used a small tortilla, and it barely fills up the plate. The price was $11 for a single quesadilla and I think for that price you should get more.”

“It's a pity this great restaurant is in a very industrial location. I hope they can plant some landscaping across the back side, where most of the view is. As it is, construction work creates a poor visual experience. The service and food offset this. Great, fresh, and so much food. Service is excellent. I hope this place can make it last. It's our new favorite.”
