“They used to bring their cakes into work all the time at the Regions Operational Center and it was very good. Since I needed something sweet for my wife's birthday we stopped by Edgar's in Hoover. She had never been in Edgar's before and now upset with me for not bringing her in here sooner! She found two cupcakes with butter cream frosting and we got a cinnamon roll which was delicious. They also had orange roll samples at the cash register which my wive was raving about. I didn't realize they had breakfast and lunch selections along with a kid's menu. We will definitely be back to try something from their breakfast or lunch menu in the near future.”

“The face and body butter is phenomenal. The consistency is bomb. If you want to get your skin together and make it happy order you a jar. My skin is so soft after using this product only after one use. If you have dry spots no problem. Hands down I am a customer for life.....”

“Ordered in the app and very pleased. Order was ready on time and it was just as I had ordered. Food was fresh and hot. Staff was friendly. The self-serve beverage and utensil area needed to be cleaned and restocked, but it was late and all the employees appeared to be busy in a fairly crowded restaurant.”

“Still in the opening phases where staff are in training and the bar isn’t open yet, but the staff were friendly and the food was good. The atmosphere is pretty cool as well with lots of TVs for watching sports on the weekends. We’ll definitely be coming back in the near future to try out some other items on the menu”

“Quality meats at a fair price. Good service and decent selection of 'sides', wines, and beer. Bonus is Fri smoked prime rib and Sat smoked wings and ribs. Oh, the sandwiches are fantastic and pretty darn big for 1 person.”

“After a lot of anticipation of waiting for this place to open, we finally made it in for a try. My previous experience (and only) experience with kolaches has been serving Shipley Do-Nuts kolaches at COTH. Do not go into American Kolaches with the anticipation of the kolaches being the same as Shipley. Shipley makes theirs as sort of a pig in a blanket style, there are more of a stuffed roll or “dumpling”. With that being said, American Kolache has a very simple store, they have a shelf of kolaches behind the counter similar to a Dunkin Donuts. They have roughly 15-20 items to pick from, mostly kolaches, however there are a few cookies and other pastries that all look delicious. The kolaches are fundamentally a thin yeast roll stuffed with various ingredients. We tried a sausage egg and cheese, bacon mac and cheese, spinach artichoke, and a meatball. All were amazing, especially the meatball. The bread is light and fluffy, the stuffings don’t make the bread soggy, and the flavors are all good. The only downside is the kolaches are not served warm, however, they will warm them if requested. I imagine this is so the bread does not get soggy from the ingredients steaming the bun, however, that’s just a guess. I will vouch that these are all handmade, and fresh, anyone who bakes bread can notice these are obviously not frozen. The building has a counter, soda fountain, coffee dispenser, and two indoor tables. Give them a try sometime, we enjoyed it and hope they stick around as it’s a great option for a fun treat. I am glad they chose Vestavia as their home. Explanation: I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for two things. 1.) It would be nice if the kolaches were kept warm, not necessarily steaming hot. 2.) The egg in the breakfast kolaches are made from powdered egg (still tasty though).”

“Wow! Amazing to see such a classic pizza place replicate the best pizza to perfection while achieving an amazing vibe that echoes the original location with its own twist. It will be very hard to decide which location to choose! The pizza was astounding to no surprise, and the freshness and quality of ingredients was apparent. The salad crisp and fresh as well. Great drink/beer/wine selection. Great for a date night, get-together with friends or the whole family. Game room gave kept our kids entertained when we were not enjoying the pizza! The staff was so friendly, and we were attended to well throughout the experience. Rock star team. Can’t wait to go back soon!”

“Once you have exceptional coffee, you're always looking for it again. You can't ever really know from the outside if making amazing coffee is important to a shop until you go in. Today I started my day off with coffee that is as good and you can get. Seeds is special and from the line that formed right at opening, I'd say many people from Birmingham already know where their best coffee resides. If you're into coffee and you're anywhere close to Birmingham, you need to make the time. Thank you Seeds for such a great experience. I had the iced cold brew and the cinnamon honey latte.”

“Delicious!!! Very flavorful, and my first time trying a quesabirria, which was amazing. I’m so glad this place is so close by. The lengua taco is also legit. The people here are super nice. Met the owner as well, and he was friendly and accommodating.”

“Ordered boneless chicken biryani and chicken 65. Both were good and well made. Chicken was tender and tasty. Worth the price. Of note, the place is inside the Red Sea Ethiopian restaurant and we could not see the restaurant name ‘Biryani Bowl’ anywhere on reaching the location. Ended up calling the restaurant to figure out the location. And there is no dine-in option yet. Would recommend this place.”

“Ok this is from 2 different visits, the first picture is a loaded polish combo. Let me tell you, this was so good! I don't like my sausage cut in half, but this sausage needed to be cut in half. It was so good, and the beef that loaded it was so good, I can only imagine how the hamburger taste. Let's talk about those fries, omg!!!! I don't know what season he put on those fries, but it was good and not salty. This was the biggest polish sausage I've eaten Now to this Chef salad, so good! Yall I ain't lying. I got ranch to go with it, but he already had some kind of salad dressing on there and it was good! The salad should've been called loaded Chef salad because it was loaded and the bacon bits were like pieces of cooked bacon. I will be going back!!!!”

“Got me a Philly and was going to save half for later but nope, was way too good to stop! Especially with the sauce on top. Love their seasoned fries as well, they had a nice crunch to them while many others serve their fries with to little crunch.”
