“We visited this waffle house on a Monday night it was around 7 pm or so, we noticed the AC was not really working, they had some big fans working here and there, it felt ok. We were greeted by Heaven, big smile and wonderful disposition, felt welcomed, she was so nice :) we didn't care about the AC or anything else lol is rare when you find people that enjoy what they do and do it GREAT! Heaven if you read this review just wanted to tell you to keep up the great work you do! :) food was great!”

“We originally just chose this place because it was close to our conference. We did simple with the chicken strips, fried tomatoes, and green beans. The fried tomatoes were the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The chicken strips were seasoned well, the green beans had a good flavor, and the gravy was the perfect dipping "sauce" I ended up forgetting my receipt on the table and called about 30 minutes later. The person that I originally talked to sounded like she was not happy about finding a receipt and sounded pretty put off by my request to have one emailed to me. The manager, on the other hand, was very friendly and sent the receipt right over.”

“If you ever get a chance to go to the White Water Tavern, GO. The people are awesome. The shows they book are amazing- (and how they get such unbelievable sound quality- I’ll never know)! The food… whoa. Everyone talks of the fried bologna sandwich, but I dream of the veggie sandwich- sounds so simple, but there’s just something about it. Add to the fact that I’m pretty sure the bar and stage(s) themselves are just the most photogenic places ever and you’ve got yourself the best bar in, probably, the world. No joke. I really just don’t have words for how much I love this place- you’ll just have to go and see it for yourself.”

“I’ve been here before and the last time was not good, we had a group of over 30people and it became a wild brunch when it came down to tickets. I’d have to say this time was better we had a group of about 15 and checks were all right. Food was good. I got the wings. The atmosphere is lively and honestly I had no idea they had street art out back. If you love art, enjoy American food and don’t mind a louder atmosphere then this is the place to go. Inexpensive and kid friendly.”

“Visit was 21 July 2022 during a business trip. It was the last night before I flew. So, I checked online for eating establishments need by that were open & I could walk to. The reviews were pretty high and the menu had a few things I like and had to decide what to get when I get there. I was going to make a take out, but was open to the choice of eating there. Well, it was more a bar scene, and folks were smoking which hits you when you go inside. One of those that everyone looks at you when you enter and prominently men in on this day. TVs were on, and the young lady that came to greet me was a pleasant sweetheart. I placed my takeout, which would take 15 minutes, so I stepped out, took a call, mainly to avoid the cigarette smoke. Food was okay and beef was seasoned pretty good, but I have had better but for this area it was probably the high remarks for the area. The fact that smoking is permitted would never get me back into this restaurant again.”

“Honestly this was the best of the best of experiences. They were attentive and had the absolute best customer service. The food was too absolutely die for!!!! “After football practice we went to Lucky's Mini Dounts! Service is fast and friendly, and when its not 100 degrees outside there's nice benches to eat your custard on. “This place was quite busy today. Had to wait in line for a while but after ordering I got the cookies pretty quickly. I got a six-pack and for some variety I chose 2 chocolate chunk, 1 oatmeal raisin, 1 snicker doodle, 1 peanut butter and 1 white chip macadamia. All were pretty good and served warm. At $2.45 each they're a bit grippy but the six-pack brings it down to about $2.12 each. I'll have to go back and try the mini cookies sometime.”
