“Saw this by our home and curious since I love Indian food. Surprisingly this place is very nicely set up inside. Very friendly service, food didn’t take that long to come out. I must say one of the best Baigan Bharta I’ve ever had. Butter chicken was delicious, lamb curry very soft and well seasoned, so not forget to try their aalu naan best ever tried, garlic naan incredible. “I saw this place on Yelp's top 100 places to eat in Bay Area. Since it's local, I decided to try it out. I'm glad I did. I like kebab, but I really wanted to taste both beef and lamb. Too bad they didn't have beef kebab so I chose the beef and lamb gyro plate instead. The included bread was nice and not stale. I enjoyed my meal, but somehow I felt they could have increased the spice level. I had to add some pepper just to give it a bit more kick. The salad was nice and refreshing. My friend's chicken kebab plate looked delicious too. I think I'd order that next time. Came on a Friday evening around 6pm. Not many people there, but I appreciated the quiet setting so my friend and I could have a good conversation. I would assume they get more business during lunch because there were not a lot of people there while I dined for dinner. It's a good place to eat and I'd certainly come back. “Wow what a surprise. Most Lucky's are kind of lower end stores. Not this one. Selection is fantastic and they have an impressive selection of food ready to eat for lunch. They have a special beer section that is a whole walk in refrigerated area with craft beers. A huge wine area, not the usual supermarket stuff. They even have delicacies like Panettone that is a beloved northern Italian Christmas cake. You can have your new your strip or prime rib dry aged to your specification (I believe 28 to 60 days) for a price that, after all, is very competitive. I was really impressed and any time I'm in Pleasanton I'll make sure to visit this place. The only problem is that... All of the above higher end experience is somewhat ruined by the ugly looking cracked concrete floors. Surely there must be a process during polishing where they can fix them instead of showing all the cracks? Incredible.”

From the moment we walked in to the time we left the service, experience and food / cocktails were spot on. The prices were not over the top. “They serve Korean Chinese cuisine. Dishes are at a decent price. It is a hidden gem in a busy square. Update 1/14/23: I went back craving for their Liangzhangpi. This time, I also ordered a seafood pancake. The first pancake came out and looked okay, but I had a slice with NO seafood in there, just full of onions and some carrot and zucchini slices. I spoke to the waitress and showed her the 2 ajacent slices with no seafood inside as well. She then used her chopsticks to check another slice and commented that there was a tiny bit of seafood. That is the problem!! 4 out of 8 slices only have tiny bit seafood in One slice!! She was kind enough to take it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, a new darker seafood pancake was served. Waitress said the cook measured the seafood to a specific weight for each pancake, so there was no problem with the seafood pancake. For ~$20 seafood pancake, this is not worthy. Get seafood pancake somewhere else.”

“Love this cute and unique cafe right in the middle of downtown! The chai latte was so good. They have variety of dairy-free substitutes for those with a dairy sensitivity / lactose intolerance. “Been coming to this place for about 3 years. Its a family business which brings a warm welcome. The owners are really friendly and sweet. Every time I go, we have some nice conversations. Anyways, I usually go for the breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich consists of ham, sausage, egg, bacon and cheese all in warm croissant. It’s a really good sandwich. They also have lunch sandwiches that I try here and there. Something that would help with their lunch sandwiches is if they offered pesto in them. That’s just my personal opinion. Great place.”

The only thing is the lechon is sold whole and the chicken chicharron has to be purchased by the pound..no halfers..but so far so good.. the store is bigger than the one in Hayward and they have a variety of more things to choose from.. The employees are sweet and helpful. They always have more than two registers open. I hope this store remains open for a long time because my Lola used to drag me there all the time and now I drag my grandson there with me.. and he's like noooo in a playful way.
