“Yesterday I met with a friend in the Wilshire District for ☕ coffee around 5ish in the evening.. I happened to find this location on Google maps. I have never been to this store before. Parking on a Sunday night is fine .. because you don't have to feed the"parking 🅿️" meter. This location is decked out ... I have taken several pictures to share what it looks like.. There is a patio, there plenty of areas to sit down. The service was quick...the store 🏬 was very clean inside . I ordered a pistachio ☕ coffee.. It was delicious..! February 6,2021”

“I stopped by Lo/Cal Coffee one morning to get breakfast. My cappuccino wasn't good, it tasted bland and casual. The breakfast sandwich was pricey, but at least it turned out decent, crunchy toasted bread and tasty bacon with friend egg. It was an early morning and the store wasn't busy at all. However service was slow and cold. The overall experience was unimpressive. The space is kind of nice, with a mini market for crafts and plants.”

“This place is such a beautiful place. It just filled me with excitement when I walked. All of the pastries were so beautiful and colorful like jewels. It was hard to stay focused on why I came. To pick up this beautiful cake they made. It's called a "Cherry Blossom" cake. It was so delicious. We had a marble biscuit ( what they call the cake), 2 vanilla biscuits, with chocolate mousse between one, strawberry and cream between the other, and butter cream between the other. My family devoured this cake. We had none to take home.... It was for my Mom's Birthday... She loved! Thank you for making her day extra special. We will definitely be back.”

“I don’t know if the staff wasn’t ready to come to work today this place hardly had any donuts available, it was pretty depressing. Luckily, I was just dropping my for an iced coffee and lemonade before a long drive but I was pretty disappointed that I didn’t have many snack options. The staff was friendly and polite but moved at slo-mo Matrix speeds. Note, they had enough staff members to run the place efficiently but some members chose to be lazy or lacked a pep in their step. Several college students and fellow Gen-Zers walked out. I wanted to leave too because we waited a good almost 20 mins but it was late and didn’t want to drive around all over Hollywood for an iced coffee. Some of the older patrons were totally obnoxious so just be warned you may leave with a headache lol.”

“So let me start off with I have very mixed feelings about this review. The hostess Arda let us know immediately that food orders would take 35 -40 minutes so appreciate the heads up. She pretty much saved this review with her service. We were assigned a table and then ordered at the counter. We asked the lady taking our order how a drink tasted and age rudely answered that she had no idea. She could have been a little less rude even if she’s never tried it she could have some knowledge to describe the drink. After placing our order and sitting down we saw a party who came much later than us not only get their drinks but also their food ahead of us. When I brought it to their attention, the barista said that she was confused and that’s why the drink order was given after theirs. When we finally received our food, west coast breakfast burrito was really tasty but again didn’t have the best service experience leading up to this. The hostess/waitress Arda was however apologetic and even offered refills or drinks on her. Ended on a much better note but still a little disappointed with the service.”

“Been here before, just finally getting around to doing a review now. Depending on the time of day, and the day itself, parking can be really easy, or a pain in the you-know-what. The food is delicious! Also a great value since it's about $2 to $5 less than say the bigger chain places like a Denny's or IHOP. It's definitely fresh, in some cases too Fresh. For instance, one person at our table ordered cantaloupe. They literally bring out 1 half cantaloupe. It was a task to try to cut it up, since it was so fresh and stiff. Side note, I really wish they would have just brought out a bowl of cut up cantaloupe. The service is great. They'll come around once to take your drink order, then come around another time to take a food order. They bring you the food. There's a little bit of a lull when they come around again to see if you need anything else, and then one last visit for the check. You do pay at the cashier. It's a great place, there's just a couple things I think they should work on trying to improve such as: This place is Booth, all Booth, the whole booth, and nothing but the booth. No matter where you sit, half of the table is in a booth, if not the whole table is a booth. The way it is set up now is that the table inside the booth is bolted to the floor. So you can't really adjust the table inside of the booth. It would be nice if they had some kind of central area with freestanding tables, that they/You can move around, and adjust as necessary. A great example would be like if your a heavier person, or a smaller tiny person/child, or you just want to move the table 3 inches to the left for whatever reason. Other than that, I give this place for stars for now. Let's see if there is a remodel in the works, probably not, to make the seating situation a little bit more variable oh, so that I can then bring this place up to five stars.”

“Walked over to R Coffee House and had a great late breakfast. Their sandwich was really delicious and the eggs were made perfectly to order. Potatoes were well done with not too much salt and the house coffee was excellent and not to bitter or acidic. Outside seating was plentiful and the live band was a really nice relaxing background to the great food. Will definitely come here again and would recommend checking it out if you are looking for somewhere to catch a quick breakfast or lunch with great coffee and nice staff and ambiance.”

“Topanga Living Café is a small cafe located on the curving, mesmerizing Topanga canyon boulevard. They offer a variety of drinks, pastries and meals that I’m eager to go back and try. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The service is friendly and polite. The store is neat and tidy. I ordered 2 breakfast platters and two drinks and came out to ~$50. For me, it’s a little pricey but a lot of that is due to factors outside of their control. Everything was made to perfection so I say it’s worth it. Excellent job, I’m eager to return.”
