“The succulent, perfectly grilled lamb showcases exceptional flavor and tenderness. Beyond the delectable cuisine, the restaurant's ambiance is elevated by classic Japanese-style decorations, creating a charming and immersive dining atmosphere. The combination of flavorful dishes and tasteful decor makes Prime BBQ a standout choice for those seeking a memorable gastronomic adventure.”

“Upscale Mexican restaurant with cute, cozy decor. Prices are not cheap but it's in a mall, so that's normal. Food was delicious! Will have to come back for cocktails. Queso fundido was excellent, tortillas are homemade!”

“New Hunan mifen restaurant in San Mateo. It is interesting that it opens next to another rice noodle restaurant. Parking is a challenge. It was not busy when we arrived but it was filled up fast. You ordered using your phone by scannjng QR code. We ordered dry and soup based noodles. The order was ready quickly. The beef bone meats are tender but not much meat. The noodle soup is clear and not spicy. You just add the soup from the bone if you want spicy. You can enjoy it non spicy or spicy. You get the coriander leaf in front of the open kitchen. The dry noodle is spicy. It doesn't have much meat. Both are yummy, but they are filling. Overall, it is yummy, but I think the beef rip soup has very strong spices, and I got a bit uncomfortable after that for some time.”

“Very cute. I’ve never had Greek coffee and the kind barista explained to me that it’s like a Turkish coffee with some seeds, no milk, and a bit of sugar. Hot and strong. It’s tasty! Will definitely come back and maybe purchase some of their Greek coffee beans.”

“Come today for another restaurant pick up, didn't expect to find a new restaurant here that was completely different on google map. While waiting for my food coming, I tried to order the chicken wings from "Serene Light Kitchen" but was unsuccessful. Later, a front desk employee brought out the owner, who kindly and with a smile, informed me that they weren't open yet and would start their soft opening next Wednesday. When he heard that I wanted to order their chicken wings, he graciously packed a box for me to try, free of charge. The wings had a very unique flavor that I've never tasted at any other restaurant before, but I absolutely loved them. Within five minutes, all the wings had disappeared from my table. I can't wait for their opening next week. I'd like to thank him for his friendly attitude. Good deeds come back around, and I hope "Serene Light Kitchen" thrives in its business.”

“Food was alright, but definitely not worth $6 for only a handful of fries.”
Address: 2317 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94403, USA
“Picked up lunch and loved the freshness and flavor of the food. The location is on a busy stretch of El Camino, so look for the flags outside. Be prepared that you might have to park a block away depending on the time of day. Small but clean dining room. Friendly owner. Burritos were great and the quesadilla was filled with an obscene amount of cheese! Guacamole was fantastic. Will be back!”

“It's a great place to watch sports. But be forewarned, you will not be notified if they change the channel. They have a wide selection of items on their menu and are all good. They also offer lunch specials M-F. I enjoy their meatballs and an order of their garlic knots. Yummy!! Update: you can add clams and garlic to your pizza slice!!!!! Friendly staff today. 😁”

“We were here on a late night snack. The service was good just like the pizza. Let me tell you this, if you buy two slices, that is enough. 😅 I had a small whole pie and that was more than enough for one person. They have good vegan options too! When you are around and want to have good pizza, give it a try!”

“Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area! We usually go to their Fremont location, which specializes in Hunan cuisine. This place is more about Yunnan Cuisine, and literally every single dish we ordered was amazing. Even my friends who usually don’t eat spicy food were so impressed with their food that they are starting to eat spicy because of this place!”

“Cash only. Good cheap home-cooked Guatemalan food. Literally. The truck operates right outside the owners home where food is also cooked. Ordered the milanesa de pollo (breaded chicken cutlet). Good amount of food for $10. Came with beans, rice, cheese, and handmade tortillas. Lady taking my order was nice and only spoke Spanish but it wasn’t hard to order. The truck is pretty busy and lively at night with many people from the community having dinner together. Little spots like these really highlight San Mateo’s vibrant Hispanic community that surrounds MLK Park”

“Pretty good food. Burritos can be hit or miss, though. Sometimes there is just way too much rice in them, making the burritos a little bland. Overall though the meats are flavorful. It didn’t used to say on the menu (they’ve updated it since), but you can order regular taqueria meats like al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, cabeza, etc. in your tacos and burritos, not just chivo and res.”
