“This place was a gem as we planned to go to another restaurant but there was a long wait. We got in here right away and sat at the bar. Servers were super fast and attentive. The food was actually way better than we anticipated as we thought it was just quick bar/diner food. Not 4$ place to stop at but everything was super delicious and we will definitely be back!! “This was the first restaurant we ate at on our visit to Hawaii. We enjoyed everything well enough, however, I have to say it was overpriced for what we got. I got a shrimp bowl and the quality of the shrimp was amazing with a sweet chili sauce that really added itself well to the bowl. My wife got the Lokomoko and she enjoyed it as well. We also got the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were very good, albeit a little small. Lastly, we got the mud pie for dessert and it was pulled straight from the freezer so it was hard as a rock, I wouldn't suggest getting dessert here if this is how they present them. Overall, we were satisfied with our dining experience here and I'm sure you will be too.”

“I can't tell which I love more. The beer or the food. I just got into drinking craft beer last year and let me tell you how excited I was to see all of the different beer taps. Sam 76 is hands down my favorite beer and they actually had it. There's something for everyone. If you never tried craft beer it doesn't hurt to try because the staff are extremely knowledgeable. More knowledgeable than I thought especially with the quantity of beers they had. I requested for a random flight of beers and each one was a perfect choice. The food was spectacular. Baked Mac and cheese appetizer was unlike something I've never tasted before. I went with 6 friends and tried each of their food and it was all of top quality. I would recommend this to anyone. This goes in my book of 6 stars”

“Not sure how to rate this place. We went here for Valentine's day. We had a reservation for 8:15. We arrived at 8, and the host told us the reservations are running late about 15-20 minutes. That's fine. We'll wait. About 30 minutes into our wait a staff member comes out and gives the delayed parties some champagne. That was nice. After some more waiting, we go up to the host at 9pm and he tells us we are next on the list. We are seated shortly after. In total about a 50 minute wait from our reservation time. We are seated outside. We were not given a choice of inside or outside. Outside patio wasn't bad. We are greeted by our waiter and he doesn't return for 10 minutes. We order all of our meal when he returns, including drinks. This was around 9:15. We then proceed to wait over an hour until our entree arrives. The appetizer gets to us first, then the bread. They told us the bread was supposed to get to us first, but we didn't mind. After we eat the bread, the back-patio staff gives us a complimentary dessert. I think they thought we ate our food which is why it took so long for our entree to come out. Needless to say, the back-patio staff were extremely accommodating, however our waiter seemed to not be interested in us. He never came back. The back-patio staff took care of refills and taking plates away, but our waiter never checked back in. We had to talk to a back-patio staff member to get a manager in order to let them know our food had not yet arrived. We were comp'd an extremely fair amount, which is what saved the service for us. We'll have to come back again on a less busy holiday. At the end of it all, the food was amazing, but the service, especially our waiter, left a lot to be desired.”

“26Jul19. After the fireworks display, I decided to stop in. The sitter tried to seat people in a timely fashion, but it became confusing to the customers. I ordered the country fried steak. I ordered the strawberry nuggets and cream for dipping as an appetizer. The appetizer and meal arrived at the same time. All in all, the meal was delicious.”

“The first day we were able to grab a veg option (noodles/veggies/tofu) and it was really good. Good atmosphere! We walked by today expecting to get the same thing since there are little to no vegan options around the hotel, but they had switched their menu and had nothing for us. It would be nice to have at least one vegan option that isnt a salad. It was disappointing since we really liked the restaurant and view.”

“The dinner service was wonderful, and the host was able to sit us near the water. If you sit near the grills it will definitely be hotter won’t get so much of an ocean breeze if you sit away from it. The food is excellent and there are great options for every kind of pallet. The prices are a bit steep but it’s still very good. It’s not quite the same as it was when it was the shorebird but it’s definitely still a good option for dining.”

“We had dinner for Christmas because I wanted to eat the 23K Mango kulfi which is pretty. Their service is good, food is very details and awesome, looks like an art. It was such a wonderful feeling.
