“One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. It was very busy, and we still got fast service with a short wait for food. Waitress was extremely knowledge about the food and told us some cool cultural stuff about the fiddle heads (must try tbh)! Really lovely place with a beautiful view and great staff!”

“One of my favorite places for great food and great company. I wish I could visit more often. They have a great menu with several of your classic mainstays but many creative additions! I have yet to have a bad meal. Their service is phenomenal and you quickly feel like a part of their crew. They have a great selection of beer, some handpicked from area breweries. This is a spot definitely worth enjoying if you're in the area and they're in a beautiful spot next to the lake and golf course”

“The food was good. Great prices. The ice tea was carbonated, which was not ideal.”

“Nice little bar down the road from where my family lives. Love the atmosphere, and the bartender is awesome. Family friendly, our kids like to come with us. They have 2 pool tables, dining tables, and bar seats if you choose to get some delicious grub. They also have a mug club with an annual fee. It pays for itself in discounts and other perks. My husband joined as #1 for the mug club. It's a nice place to check out. Ask about the mug club when you go if you're a local. Relax, have a drink, and enjoy your time out.”

“Head to the shack in back not the big building on premises to get this famous Maine donut. Potato donuts are denser and fantastic. There are no bad flavors, however the chocolate sea salt, the lemon, and cinnamon sugar are my go to donuts. The only drawback of this location is a lack of seating, and there is no covered seating. So being able to sit down and have a donut here is weather dependent (unlike the one in Portland). Regardless, these donuts are delicious and a must try.”

“Attended the soft opening and loved the atmosphere. Which includes indoor and outdoor seating beside the river. The food was delicious and drinks as well. Upbeat staff. I will definitely be going back.”

“The food was excellent, but the service was not. The waiter was pleasant but inexperienced, and not especially attentive. He brought us a plate we hadn't ordered, and it showed up on the bill when the time came to pay. Getting the bill corrected took over 15 minutes. NOTE: Google's location is incorrect. The bistro is in the same building as the Quarry Tavern.”

“Delicious authentic Thai food. I thought the prices were high but the portions are huge so I’m not complaining. I appreciate that they use coconut cream and not dairy. But I must warn- they give a spice rating of 1-10 that I think could use some improvement. I chose 2 and it was super spicy, a little too much even. So, be conservative! Otherwise, this place is great for take-out or dine in! I got garlic beef and green curry.”

“WOW! SO GLAD WE STOPPED IN HERE! If you like craft beer, unique pizzas, and friendly people, then you must stop by and try this brew pub. The outside of the restaurant is rather unassuming. But, once you walk in, you notice the beams, touches of modern wood work, and the friendly bar keeps and immediately feel welcomed. We initially went in to try a flight of beer and kill some time. We ordered the English Style Bitter Ale, Trestle IPA, Watermelon Sour, and Blueberry Delight Milkshake IPA. We both really enjoyed the Trestle and the Blueberry IPA tremendously. The sour was good but keep in mind sour beers are an acquired taste. For a sour, it was tastefully crafted. The English Bitter IPA didn't knock our socks off or anything but it wasn't undrinkable either. As we reviewed the eclectic pizzas on their menu, we figured that we only live once so why not try something unusual. We were pleased that you can order a whole pizza and do half one way and half another. We tried the "Smoked Pulled Pork, Gouda, Mac & Cheese, Jalapeno Cornbread" on one side and the "Maine Blueberries, Ricotta, Roasted Shallot, Lemon Zest" on the other half. Both pizza halves far exceeded what we expected! The pulled pork...pizza was packed with numerous complementary flavors and textures. The Blueberry pizza was rich and creamy with a smooth savory base from the shallots highlighted with subtle but bright pops of lemon zest to reduce the heaviness. The crust was airy and crispy on the edges without being too chewy. Being brave and trying these pizzas was fantastically rewarding! It may sound cliche, but we liked the blueberry pizza paired with the Blueberry Delight IPA. The pulled pork Gouda pizza paired decently with the Trestle IPA as well.”

“I’m glad I came out for the food, might not come back because of the service. Drove out to experience this restaurant and I was not disappointed when I walked in the door. Modern interior that is kept clean, nicely spaced dining areas. Simple, clean, and efficient. The only criticism is the service. There were 3 tables seated and two servers. The two servers rarely came out to check on the tables and refill waters/clear the table. Spent most of the time in the back. I’d come back in an instant if the service were improved.”

“Great little place for breakfast. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was good, my eggs were a little bit over cooked. I'm from the south and asked for over medium eggs. My eggs were cooked hard. Anyways I haven't been living in Maine since I was a 21 years old and I forgot to ask for Sunnyside up eggs...lol”
