“The menu here is on par with any good Japanese restaurant. It's clean, the staff are great, and there's a nice atmosphere. They have a happy hour, starting around 6pm. The food is good, including the sushi is good. Their Hinabi roll is packed with seafood, so if you're looking for something dense, that does have a lot of sauce, it's a good choice. Also, it's a place my husband and I feel comfortable taking our children.”

“This was our first time at the restaurant. I work at the movie theater behind it and I always smell the greens from there, me and my husband were kid free on a rain day and decided to tr it our... BEST DECISION we have made. Our sever Ty was very prompt and informative he had great knowledge in the foods and awesome suggestions. We went with the Maryland crab cakes, and greens, Mac n cheese, and potato salad. It was BOMB. The atmosphere is amazing as well. Everyone is so pleasant. I see big things happen wing for this company! Way to go Carolina Kitchen!”

“This was my first visit to the restaurant. Typically it's very crowded during the evenings and I don't have the patience to wait. However, I arrived with my friends when the restaurant first opened so it was very much empty. I enjoyed the layout of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. Our waitress was pleasant and full of conversation. Our food was brought out in a timely manner and everything was delicious. I enjoyed my visit. I don't know if I'll be able to do that again unless I visit earlier in the day again. As I said before the wait can be long on the weekend and during the evening.”

“My fiance and I are here in the area only for a week and we decided to go to Applebee's (Friday around noon). I read the reviews on the Applebee's location and despite the bad reviews, this location had better reviews than others. When we got to Applebee's the host opened the door for ya and was very considerate and polite. Once we got seated the waiter, Albert, promptly took our orders. Our drinks did take a few minutes to come back (Yuengling and Shark Bowl) but we didn't have to wait long overall to get our orders placed and get our food. I was disappointed by the shark bowl because it is supposed to have a blue gummy shark on it and mine did not. Nonetheless, the drink was DELICIOUS! I ordered the cedar lemon chicken which comes with a cranberry quinoa mix and a granny apple relish. Overall very good but I was bummed that the granny apples were large chunks rather than the relish I've had when I've ordered this dish at other locations. My fiance ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and he had no complaints. From the time we sat down to the time we got our food was about 20 minutes. We got our check and left about an hour after we arrived, simply because we sat and enjoyed our drinks. I think a lot of the negative reviews have to do with the time of day because our host and waiter we're great, and the food was great.”

“My daughter organized a mother's-daughter's dinner at SoBe Saturday night on the 3rd of November. There were 6 of us. It was our first time coming. The place is beautifully decorated. While we waited for our party, I noticed some folks were turned away. Apparently some of the young men had on tennis shoes. They don't allow that for Saturday night. I'm good with that. Folks need to learn to dress up every now and then. Any way, on one side was the restaurant and the other the bar and lounge. We were on the restaurant side, but you can fully hear the live band. And when that band played, ALL conversation ceased as it was very loud. In between band sets, good old school music was piped in through the speakers. Frankly, that was all I needed. But I do love a live band, but not when I'm eating and trying to converse.”
