“Wonderful authentic Mexican dishes. More than just the typical tacos or burritos. Some American style flair such as burgers with a Mexican twist and also plenty of ice cream types options. Friendly staff.”

“A must stop if you see this truck. We ordered the Hammy Sammy w/side of hashbrowns, BroRito & Over the Border. Everything we ordered... 🔥 🔥 🔥. We all would eat here every morning if it were an option. Can't wait to run into them again!”

“We can’t believe we didn’t come here sooner. The food is soooo good, and generous portions for a super reasonable price. I got the Grecian omelette—gyro meat with spinach, tomato, and feta cheese with tzatziki sauce on the side—it is the most amazing omelette I have ever had!! i swapped out the side of toast for lefse and it was also delicious. My daughter tried the tres leches French toast and son had the breakfast burger (both limited specials), and they both also loved their food. Our server was nice and knowledgeable and the restaurant clean and convenient. We highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch!!”

“Love this place! Friend and I were looking for a quick lunch nearby, saw this and decided to give it a go. Guess what? This place is legit! I've already been back myself several times now for lunch and dinner. The quesadilla was so good that I forgot to take a pic and ordered takeout just to snap a pic for this review. The food is tasty, portions are huge, staff are great. What else can you ask for?”

“We stopped by because we were in the neighborhood, the atmosphere looked cozy and relaxing so we decided to go in. The hospitality was great, they did not rush us to order, they did bring our food pretty quick which I was surprised. I will say though, maybe update your nutrition facts and let people know that the type of spicy does vary depending on the plate. Some people can’t handle chipotle sauce, so it’d be a good idea to put those little details on the side so people are aware. Over all the food was an 8/10 but everything else from the atmosphere to the service I’d give a 10/10. Will definitely come back here if I’m in the area again.”

“PLANT BASED YOU CAN LOVE- You gotta get a smoothie- Community is the heart of this business and that is not just talk. There are shelves of community partnership rocking the waiting area with local made spices and drinks, POP-Up events, and an apothecary section of fresh healing herbs. There is NOTHING LIKE IT in North and it is a welcome twist. Black owned is cool and worth supporting, yet there is more to the story of uniting together to be plant based and the building of community is deep rooted. PS: Give yourself time to get your order. This is a micro business so they are just figuring it out- be patient- the person that took your order is then going back in the kitchen to COOK your order. sometimes they run out of supplies so just adjust to what is available. They will make something GREAT and they will make it to order. PLUS they have a variety of oracle cards to give yourself a reading while you wait for the magic. Passion- forward”

“Great place to hang out and get work done. Relaxing atmosphere; not overly noisy. Background music is nice and not too loud or distracting. I was surprised by how reasonable their prices are compared to some other coffee shops I frequent. I'll probably start coming here more often! My iced coffee was solid, as was my nutella, banana, and almond sandwich - very unique! Friendly staff. There are two gender-neutral bathrooms here, and an ample parking lot next to the building. Overall, a nice local coffee shop!”

“An amazing and titillating experience. The hairs on my arms stood erect with the intimacy and sensuality of being in the presence of one entertainer in particular, who went by Kat. Wow. She brought it all- fun, excitement, and an all around amazing night. Ended up splurging in a VIP bottle package to have her attention more and it was money well spent. If you want to have a good night, this is the place. The food was amazing too. I’ll definitely be going back, and asking for Kat 🤤😍”

“This is the best Thai food in Minneapolis, the vegetarian curry is the best I have tried, and I have been to Thailand before! Everything I have tried here has been superb so far. They have Thai tea here as well. Service is so amazing too. Thank you”

“Wonderful! Poke bowl had great proportions of the “good stuff” balanced with the rice. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent - about 2 mins from order to receiving what I ordered. They have 3 kiosks where you can place your own order, which makes it nice if you are undecided and want to look at your options. The poke bowl with a generous bowl of edamame and a drink (combo) was $13.50. A real value and I left completely full.”

“Wow, I think I finally found what I’ve been searching for all my life in the Twin Cities. What? What? A rich and delicious chocolate cake. Seriously, I’ve been everywhere locally and no chocolate cake has won me over… until now. It’s moist, rich, and very chocolaty like how I like it. I have tried some of their other sweets too and have loved them all. This might be my new favorite bakery.”

“The ribs and the BUTTERMILK fried chicken buckets are amazing! The crunch on that fried chicken is yummy! It is kid approved! The cheesecake is delicious and the food is fresh! Definitely getting this again for my family.”

“This is an Ethiopian restaurant. There isn’t much English spoken here and there is no menu, but the staff and patrons are friendly. If you’re an adventurous eater, you might like it. The soup was delicious and the salad was fresh. I’m actually not sure what kind of meat was in my main dish. It was pretty good but a few of the bites were a little gamey tasting. The seasoning in the rice was good, and you get a generous portion, so you won’t leave hungry. The waiter rang me up for $17 which seemed a little high, but he hit “skip” on the tip screen, so I guess it was a fair price if you consider that the tip is “included”. If I go back I think I’ll just get two or three bowls of soup! 🥣 Overall I’d give it 3.5 stars.”

“Another restaurant that we've been saying we want to visit... we were not disappointed. Rotisserie chicken with polenta and Brussels sprouts and also the Walleye with mushroom risotto -- everything was seasoned well. The decor in the dining room was very cozy, good background music. We'll be back again to try other options!”

“Recently visited Tavola for the first time and I was overall impressed with the delicious food! I was not expecting much based on the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Nestled inside the Elliot Park Hotel, the ambiance was beautiful with an open concept and beautiful light fixtures. It was moody with dark walls and very modern. I loved it! Pro tip - enter through the Elliot Park Hotel entrance, since the Tavola entrance is locked. I learned that the hard way! ;) We had a group of about 8 including kids. Everyone loved what they got! For an appetizer, we got the burrata and fries. The burrata was decadent with plenty of buttered focaccia bread slices. The fries were perfectly crispy and the aioli that it came with was divine. Most of us ordered the Ratolo - consisting of ricotta, spinach, and a sweet & spicy tomato agro dolce sauce. It was so delicious and better than expected. I loved the side salad and dressing as well. Overall a 10/10 meal. I also got the berry lemonade which was amazing! One of our friends ordered the mushroom pappardelle which was equally delicious. I appreciated how there were vegetarian options on the menu. We were here celebrating a couple friends' birthdays and the server surprised us with slices of a rich chocolate mousse cake. It was melt-in-your-mouth good! The reason I docked a star is because service was incredibly slow. It took a while for our server to take our orders. Additionally, our kids were starting to get fussy since it was getting late with bringing the checks. The restaurant seemed relatively empty so I wasn't sure if it was a staffing issue or otherwise. However, our waiter was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing so it was overall a great experience!”

“A damn good burger! My partner had Roasted Tomato Basil soup w/a grilled cheese...a classic for a winter day. Will definitely become a regular as the other items look just as tasty. Friendly and quick service. A very nice casual lunch spot.”

“It's a little confusing how and where to order, but once we got that figured out, I'm very happy we stopped here. The food is so fresh and delicious. The staff didn't pay much attention to us since we sat ourselves, but I still think this is a 5 star place. I love that they use food sourced from the farmers market. The craft sodas are hit or miss, probably skip those unless you feel like a splurge. Easy lunch spot before or after hitting the museum or us bank!”

“The atmosphere here is amazing and one of the best I’ve seen! Food was great but the TacoYaki was a little doughy. The service was great especially for a busy Friday night and over all enjoyed dining in.”

“I'm always down to try another Asian restaurant and this place doesn't disappoint. It's right by US Bank Stadium, so its an easy lunch spot before a game or concert. My pad Thai didn't have a ton of flavor, so not sure I'd get that again. Otherwise they should offer spice levels with it. The drunken noodles were delightful. The cranberries wonton were huge and great, need more cranberries! Refills were tough to get sitting out on the patio.”

“Enjoyed a dinner out w some friends. We started w the guacamole and salsa combo. One friend had the chicken burrito and the other and I had tacos. I had the shrimp and carne asada. The shrimp was definitely my fav. We also had the corn to go with. I love that they take reservations which made planning so easy.”

“Literally my new fave place. They offer great options including charcuterie. Vegetarian and vegan charcuterie! Mac and cheese is amazing as well as the rotating desserts! We will be going back a lot. Staff was super helpful and excited for us to try dishes. The market was very cute and had great stuff.”

“Went to the opening night of Bûcheron. Service: Was wonderful. Everyone there was so kind and made us feel very welcome. John was our server. He had a good sense of humor & was very attentive. Food: The flavors were outstanding. We ordered the steak and pork chop, followed by cookies & cream for dessert. The steak melted in your mouth & had a nice char. The pork chop was seasoned perfectly. Loved the cookies & cream. It had layers of different textures, which we really enjoyed & weren't expecting. If you like sweets and ice cream, it's a good go-to. Atmosphere: Was warm & comfortable. Had nice dim lighting, but it wasn't too dark. Parking / Location: When we saw this restaurant was located in Minneapolis, we were expecting it to be difficult to locate parking. We found it is not in the main area of Minneapolis, though & finding parking was surprisingly easy. There's off-street parking that's free, just steps away from the front door. Suggestion: A good friend of ours suggested this place. Honestly, the menu seemed really intimidating at first when we looked at it online because we didn't know what a lot of the words / ingredients were. However, we were able to get past that and truly enjoyed all the dishes we got! Just needed to get past the initial intimidation. Would maybe suggest expanding on the description of the dishes a little just to give a better idea of what the customer could expect so they can picture it in their head or possibly include photos? Typically, what I like to do is go onto Yelp to look up what the dish looks like if I'm questioning if I'd like or not. Once I have a visual, it helps me to make a determination. In this case, this restaurant is brand new, so I did not have that option to look it up. Overall: We are very likely going to be repeat customers and would suggest going here!”

“3/5. An all-around solid "okay" Kura Revolving Sushi Bar. Food: Sushi is okay. It's a revolving sushi bar, don't expect high tier sushi. The quality of the sushi is close to the sushi you get at your buffets that serve sushi. The only interesting sushi rolls are ones they make that are different from the usual sushi rolls. The quality of the ramen is not worth the price you pay. Unless you're only craving ramen, it will do its job. You can special order other items that are not being revolved and it does get served to you in a timely manner. We got here about 2 hours before they were going to close. It seems like they were beginning to stop making rolls, so we only had 4-5 different rolls and didn't get the chance to try the other rolls. Employees are nice, helpful and welcoming. When you order drinks, there is a robot that will serve it to you. Overall, this is a nice entry way to sushi for someone that is not familiar with sushi or a revolving sushi bar. I'd recommend this place if you want to try something different. It's a good experience. For the sushi enthusiasts, look elsewhere.”
