“It felt like I was due for a sushi night so we gave this place in Marlton, NJ a try, plus it’s a byob! I ordered sashimi a la carte and a special roll on the side with shrimp tempura and eel. The fish tasted fresh and delicious, we even asked the sushi chef to surprise us with a couple more different sashimi slices. Service was amazing. The ambience with the art on the wall was beautiful. If anyone or @yu_sushi_nj can tell me where I can get that cat rocking those shades and huge arms, want one! 💪😂”

“The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. Best crab cakes I have ever had. My husband loved the short ribs. The staff is truly superb. My husband ordered a salad and the ratio of lettuce was a little heavy on the frisee…our waitress, Patches noticed he was picking around it and there was an amazing immediate “SWAT” team including manager Alex that whisked it away and presented him with a new salad…he wasn’t even complaining about it! Wonderful dining experience. The recommended bread pudding was to die for. My only disappointment was the coffee is on the weaker side….but hardly a bump in a perfect evening.”

“I was visiting family in NJ and was craving a breakfast sandwich like the ones on Long Island. I'm from Ohio, so we don't get to delight in these sandwiches often. I walked in on a Monday morning. They were kind and prompt and helped me order what I wanted. $6 for a egg bacon cheese sandwich on a roll. It was quick to be made and delicious! Everything was clean and orderly as well. They have drink and chip options too. The new specials are in my photos. I can't wait to come back for a lunch wrap.”

“The Poke Bros in Marlton just opened recently and we had to stop by and give it a try! We went last night and ordered a Hula bowl and Duke bowl. We went around 6:30pm and there was a line out the door, but it moved very quickly. Inside, they have about 4 small tables to sit at and a few outdoor tables as well. The employee making the bowls was efficient and extremely friendly! All of the ingredients in the bowl were fresh and delicious! The prices of the bowls were very reasonable as well. If you are going by this way, I would highly recommend stopping in to try it, you won't be disappointed!”

“I ordered the crispy rice bowl with chicken. It was great! Every ingredient was fresh, and the dressing was on point! The dressing was a little sparse, and chicken portions smaller than I expected (and VERY spicy, for sure) Amazing selection overall. Very good!”

“I don’t even know where to begin this place is the best. The shakes are all amazing, the workers are always so friendly and in a good mood. They have an inscan body scale that does a break down of your body which is super helpful& the employees take their time to go over the results with you. I recently started the meal plan but there’s no pressure to cancel or pause unlike any other places. & the food is GOOD! I’ve tried the rise and shine tacos& Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese & they were amazing! The owners of this one - Heather and her husband Joe- are great people. I also love the fact that I can scan/search the food on my fitness pal& it logs it correctly with ease. I found this gem after joining burn boot camp and I’m so happy I did! Try it you won’t regret it!”

“Sits next to Batteries+, wouldn't have seen the sign from afar. Really good, don't think I know if another udon place around here. I like udon better than ramen since the broth is thinner. Kind of like pho. Agedashi tofu was different than I was expecting, had a thin crispy layer around it. Still really good. Karaage was just like karaage you might get at a hole in the wall place in Japan. Like one of those, order from a vending machine at the front sort of places. The kind that gives you a ticket and you give it to the cook. Nikutama udon was exactly what I was expecting. Tantan spicy pork also exactly what my friend wanted. An added egg was delicious and creamy. Seems like the eggplant was removed from the appetizers. Little sad we missed it, was hoping it was like the one at Sagami. Guess I'll never know. I'm surprised this place isn't as popular as rairairamen (just for people who want a less heavy broth or less salty soup). A similar small menu, so you know they specialize in what they do.”

“Staff were nice, but there were definitely language barriers which slowed down service. Around 4 a younger girl started her shift who was easier to communicate with when checking out. The food was pretty good and generous for the lunch special (entree plus 2 sides). Got the jerk chicken taco (came with 2), with collard greens and green beans. Wasn't a fan of the collard greens, very salty, had a weird smoky almost burnt aftertaste. Green beans were picked with some peppers and carrots, was nice. Taco was very greasy but very good. Also got the veggie platter, which is 4 veggie slides instead of an entree +2. Got the jollof rice, candied yams, baked Mac and cheese and corn bread. Cornbread says was supposed to come with 3 but came with one. But these were all good. All entrees came in takeout containers that were pretty saucy/greasy so they plastic wrap it. Not helpful to check your food, but helpful when carrying it to-go. Inside the building was very hot and humid. Guessing it's the steam table keeping the (majority) of the food warm up front. They seem to have other stuff in the back too, like the cornbread and more jollof. I wouldn't be able to eat in there, was sweating just waiting in line to get food. Would recommend takeout.”

“Instead of going to a fast food place, we stopped here. This was our 1st time here and the healthy bowl was delicious. Every thing was fresh and delicious. I try my best to support small businesses.”

“Yes the food was good 😊 felt like it was too spicy they used crushed red pepper to spice up all the flavors which is too much if they could used more of green chilly and other herbs for the spicy that would be good overall was good experience.. Just a small request focus on serves to all your customers equally rather using phone next to customer. Thank you 🙏”

“Finding a good Korean spot in South Jersey can be quite a quest, but trust me, this place is a real hidden gem! The place is super clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the overall positive vibe. Now, let's talk about the best part—the food is absolutely fantastic! I tried a bunch of dishes, and each one was a delightful experience. I can't recommend this place enough!”

“I had heard a lot about this restaurant. Finally, we decided to go check it out. We ordered samosas, palak paneer, naan, and rose lassi. Samosas were over fried and spicy. Spicy is fine since it was in the title, but the crispy pastry dough was bitter due to being over fried. Palak paneer was alright. The only flavor I got was red 🌶 from the spiciness of it. It seems like they may have used a lot of red chili powder. Fresh jalapenos might be better. Naan was ok. Half of it was nice and soft; the other half was very crispy. Rose lassi was delicious. The employees were very nice and came to check on us a few times and see if we needed anything. It's very beautiful inside. The ambiance was nice.”

“Really nice atmosphere upon first walking in. Place is very bright, pretty, and colorful with lots of seating. They have a lot of options for proteins, toppings, and sauces and you can choose as many toppings as you wish. Portions are a good size. I got the chicken kebab which was pretty tasty. Only criticism is the staff could use some more training. They don’t smile or talk very clearly or loudly. They just kinda look at you until you say something. One staff member blew into the plastic glove to open it up before putting it on and serving customers’ food. They use spoons and tongs but still not the most hygienic. The restaurant is new so I hope they will improve over time. Definitely will return for the good food. I do recommend giving them a try.”

“I've heard many good things about this place but my first visit was just okay. I started with the French onion soup which came with some fried/frizzled on top. It's not something I had seen before and it added a pleasant textural twist on a classic. I had the Cherry coke ribs for the entree and they were very sweet. I'm someone that likes sweet things but these were a bit much. The ribs themselves were under seasoned, and could have used something with a little kick to offset the candy sweetness of the sauce. The accompanying cole slaw was very heavy on the mayo, so something with some acid would have lightened it up and done more to cleanse the palate between bites of the sweet ribs. Service seems to be a focus here. There were tons of staff running around, and a manager came by the table to check on the meal which is always a nice touch. That said, there is room for improvement. The staff had their individual jobs, and they only did their assigned job. Water was not refilled in a timely manner. The big issue was that dirty dishes were never cleared from the table. When the runner brought the entrees, soup and salad dishes that were clearly finished were left at the table. The waitress and manager stopped by and also ignored the dishes. There were plenty of free hands that came by and not a single dish was picked up. The server dropped the check before I finished eating the ribs. She came by several times to see if I had gotten out my card for payment, but as I was still eating and my hands were covered in sticky sauce, I wasn't able to do so which seemed to annoy her. I worked in restaurants for years, and I was not camping at the table for an inordinate amount of time. It was also not preventing her from another table as there were tables open, and it was not close to closing time. I paid the bill and left with every dirty dish and utensil still on the table.”

“Ignite cuisine is a local Jamaican spot that I heard About, but I never got around to try it. Me, my mom and my son were greeted by a nice lady who gave me a menu with the pricing on it. She was very nice and happily answered all of our questions without an attitude. She was patient and kind to us even in our decisiveness of what to get. Me and my mom both got a large brown stew, chicken platters with rice, cabbage, and candy yams. All for a great price of $16 per platter! You get your choice of protein with rice and 2 side with a large size platter. The platters were more than enough and well worth the money that I spent. She even allowed us to look at the platters before we left to assure that we’re satisfied! I also got a beef patty with cocoa bread, which I can’t speak at the moment because I haven’t tried it yet But once I do, I’ll try to edit my review. The brown stew chicken is easily the best that I have had in this area. My only complaint regarding it is the choice of chicken breast for the Chicken the chicken breast pieces were very dry But as a whole, it’s very flavorful. The dark meat pieces were chefs kiss IMMACULATE! The candied yams are delicious and so is the cabbage. Thank you for the pleasant experience. ILL BE SURE TO BE BACK AND TRY DIFFERENT STUFF NEXT !”

“Bob and I have been to just about every restaurant in Flemington and beyond! So when he said we were going to Sumatra’s on route 31, I thought oh good the pizzeria. We go there and we’re greeted by Giovanni who runs the place. I said to Bob oh it’s so damn bright in here. So we ordered appetizers bruschetta bread and garlic bread. The bruschetta bread was the very best I have had anywhere and that’s saying a lot. You may say so what so bruschetta bread was good. No it does matter and this was excellent and so was the fresh garlic bread. The chef shows he or she cares. Then came my chicken franchise and the chicken parm and ziti. Well let me tell you everything was excellent. So so good. I feel that at this point I qualified to critique, and this is not a pizzeria, ita a fine Italian food restaurant. Loved it and if you don’t go you are truly missing out. Giovanni said he would tone down the lighting lol. Other than that bon apetit! !!! Soli and Bobby 2/8/24.”

“What a cool place that caught me completely by surprise. This is not the type of place you find on the quiet side of a small town. The vibe and the service is what makes this place charming. I came in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I was the only one eating outside and it was a beautiful setting with a couple of barns next door. The birria tacos were the icing on the cake. I was hungry since I missed breakfast and I struggled to finish the tacos. They were very tasty, maybe even the best birria I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. If you’re hungry this is a place to go to. I practiced my Spanish with the waiter, who was very friendly, and the rest of the staff spoke as well so I know the food was authentic. The waiter asked if I wanted to try their homemade hot sauces and he presented them to me. What a cool experience!”

“Tried this place for the first time, and I know I'll be going back at LEAST once a week. I can't decide if the food or the staff are better; but they're both worth going for. The attention to detail and the smiles from the chef are most note worthy. You HAVE to get the steam buns. I could eat them every single day 🤙 perfect place for a family, date night or girls night out.”

“Edited 4/27/24 to add: Went back for breakfast and was blown away by each thing we tried. The coffee, omelettes, hash browns, bacon, sausage, and the toast were all so filled with flavor and perfectly seasoned. This is not your average breakfast plate, each item was elevated! Not only was the breakfast amazing, but then I took home croissants and pastries to my (notoriously picky about sweets/baker goods) toddler and he loved it all. 100% worth the drive to the cozy town of Oxford! Everything was so delicious!! The pomegranate tea had the perfect blend of sweet and tart. The hot chocolate bomb was the best hot chocolate I've ever had, so creamy and had little hints of peppermint, like Christmas in a cup! Lastly we tried the morning glory muffins - fresh shredded carrots, pineapple and raisins, so moist!! Perfect spot to sit and have a treat or to get baked goods for the holidays. We ordered some muffins and scones for our Christmas brunch, can't wait to come back and try more things!”

“This new business is going to thrive here in Sussex county. I tried all of the meats offered so far and they all knocked it out of the park. The owner was very nice and we had a small conversation. 10/10 business owners. the beef brisket is the best i’ve had. I’ll be coming back here very often. This place was just what we needed.👍🏻”

“I found the food truck at Cape May Brewing Company on a Thursday. We had the Mahi Mahi tacos and Jacked Chicken sliders. Mahi tacos were so tasty with great flavor, soft tacos, while the chicken sandwiches were well fried with plenty of lettuce and pickles! I’d look for this truck again!”
