Deadwood South lawrence Spearfish

Buffalo Restaurant & Saloon

Address: 658 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Great Rocky Mountain oysters!! Best we’ve ever had. Drinks weren’t bad. Chicken friend steak was also pretty good.”

Buffalo Bodega Complex

Address: 658 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Service was great. Food was mediocre, but high prices for what we got. Overall it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything that deserves 4 or 5 stars. A simple meal for two was $40. We got fried shrimp with fries, and the deadwood dip with fries. The meat on the deadwood dip was a little dry but not terrible. I will try other places around deadwood before coming back here.”

Deadwood Social Club

Address: 657 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Troy made our experience nice. It was our 41st anniversary. Rib eye was amazing, baked potato fluffy and asparagus was perfect. We got desert for our anniversary and it was complementary. It was a bit noisy, but maybe some table cloths or something on the wall to cut the noise and it would be perfect. Will definitely come back. Ask for Troy. He was amazing”

Saloon No. 10

Address: 657 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“This was pretty good but they should update their online menu. Prices and all. Side options are different. What was once 2 sides is one on their physical menu. Lamb bolagnese was great and the Buffalo ravioli appetizer was great except the mediocre sauce. I felt like they dumped a can of crushed tomatoes on the dish🤣🤣🤣 classy! The chocolate mocha martini was phenomenal and Troy, yep I remember his name, was great, no complaints whatsoever for him, thanks for great service there. Come early, they sell out at a decent time of the good stuff 😂 oh and you probably should serve fresh water that hasn't been sitting for God knows how long. It was not cold and the glass wasn't even sweating with no ice... 4 out of 5 ⭐”

Martin Mason Hotel

Address: 33 Deadwood St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Had our wedding and reception at this beautiful, historic venue. We're so elated that we chose this location. The elegant ballroom was the absolute perfect place to hold such a celebration. The owners of the establishment are so incredibly kind, generous and helpful. The immense amount of love and work they have put into the building is apparent and they give the same treatment to their patrons and everyone else who walks through their doors. The rooms are very luxurious, each one of them is different and walking into them is like stepping back in time. They all feature many authentic antiques and historically accurate furnishings. Really feels like you're living in the old days of Deadwood. Overall, we are overjoyed beyond words with our experience here. We give thanks from the bottom of our hearts to M & B for every single thing they did for us leading up to and on our big day. We are forever grateful you were a part of it. TLDR: I truly can't recommend this hotel and it's people enough. 1000/10 stars”

Lee Street Station Cafe

Address: 5 Lee St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“The breakfast was great! I got a breakfast croissant and hubby got biscuits and gravy with sausage. The sausage patties are hand formed. The gravy is made from scratch. It was all just a great home cooked meal. If you have to wait for a table...it is well worth it. I don't go around saying that cause I hate waiting. Go there! You won't regret it!”

Three Cousins Pizza

Address: Historic Iron Horse Inn, 27 Deadwood St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Located in the basement of the building, this pizza is fantastic by any standards. Thin crust that is crisp on the bottom but still has good softness and chew. Flavorful sauce and a good balance of cheese and toppings. The pretzel bites were also killer. Great service by friendly staff as well.”

Historic Iron Horse Inn Deadwood

Address: 27 Deadwood St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“We enjoyed our stay at the Historic Iron Horse Inn & Casino! It is in town, so close to Main St. where most everything is. Cheri was the best! So great to help us with our needs! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom consists of the toilet and shower, and the sink and vanity area (good size) is outside of the bathroom in the edge of the room....ideal if there are more than 2 people. The best part about the room was a huge ceiling fan with a great LED light fixture that you can turn off separately! They also have a/c. Iron Horse is an older hotel with wood doors and real keys. It has character for those who can appreciate that. The parking lot is small, so they assign your parkingThere is a pool table and foosball in the lobby, and a great pizza place that serves both on the lobby and downstairs at Stan & Ollie's bar & restaurant. The pizza is delicious! I recommend the Iron Horse for you stay in Deadwood!”

Stan & Ollie's Pub

Address: Historic Iron Horse Inn, 27 Deadwood St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“A great low-key pub with tasty food at affordable prices. The drinks and appetizers were half off during happy hour. We tried the chicken fried bacon with raspberry jalapeño sauce and Cracklin' Pollo. Both were amazing. The bartender was super friendly and let us know when they have live music. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some unique tastes.”

Sick-N-Twisted Brewery

Address: 692 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“We stopped in here to try it out. While the atmosphere was unique, the wine flight we had tasted soapy. Like the tubes weren't rinsed all the way out. There were three of us and every single one of us had the same opinion. Other than that, this place was fun and prices were solid. They have a cool gift shop and the staff were nice. Get a table upfront and do some people watching!”

Mavericks Steak & Cocktails

Address: 688 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“I got the pulled pork plate and the fried pickles. The pickles are French fry profile which I know can be controversial. The pulled pork was very tasty. Unfortunately I can’t remember the bar tenders name but he was very friendly and provided excellent service.”

Diamond Lil's

Address: 677 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Pictures don’t even do the food any justice. It was INCREDIBLE. You could tell everything was made in house, down the the French fries. I got the chicken tenders, and they were perfectly hand breaded. They were nice and crispy. My husband got the 1/3 lb burger and it was delicious as well. We’ve visited 6 different states this week, and this was by far the best food we’ve eaten the entire trip. Our server Dylan was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. He read us the days specials, and even helped me pick out a drink (I went with a margarita). We don’t typically get dessert, but since the other food was so good we decided to try todays special and we’re glad we did. Definitely check this place out when you’re in Deadwood. Super underrated spot.”

Jakes Fine Dining

Address: 677 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“WOW!! What a meal! The setting was gorgeous and the service was top notch. We came here with a group of 10 and all ordered something different. I had the tuna and it was the best tuna I’ve ever had. Presentation was beautiful! We decided to get the cream brûlée for dessert and it was “eyes rolling to the back of your head” GOOD!! Do yourself a favor and books your reservations! You won’t regret it.”

Legends Steakhouse

Address: Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Hands down the best dining experience we've had in Deadwood. Superb food and top notch service. Layne H served us and it was faultless, she was absolutely professional and very personable. We returned for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised to be served by her again.”

Jacobs Brewhouse & Grocer

Address: 79 Sherman St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“Jacob's is a sweet gem in Deadwood! The sophisticated rustic decor is on point. The cocktails are fantastic! The food was solid. I ordered the Buck Yeah with very high expectations. Sounded so good but fell a little short for me. Food was very good. Just not the best I've ever had. The only reason for the 4 stars. Everything else was wonderful.”

Dale's Restaurant

Address: 1906 Deadwood Mountain Drive, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Pretty basic. The photos on the reviews are a bit deceiving. Drinks were tasty, food is nothing to write home about though. Mac and cheese was in the cold side. Husband had elk t bone, he said it was very good so maybe order that. Service was okay, waitress kept talking over us when we would ask for something, kinda annoying. If you’re not looking for fantastic and just a quick bite then this is your spot.”

Gold Country Inn

Address: 801 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I stayed here for two weeks while finding a place to live. The room I was in was tiny but perfect for my needs and at a price you can't beat. I especially loved the shower! The pressure from the nozzle was amazing. The location was just right. I was far enough away from the tourist district and all the foot traffic but close enough to walk to any place I needed to go. During my stay I found the staff to be pleasant and accommodating. The friendliness of the front desk staff and the house keeper gave me a feeling of home and belonging. They were extremely helpful whenever I had questions. The restaurant on the property doesn't have the best selection of food but I was extremely happy with the grilled chicken salad they serve. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had.”

Lou Lou's Bombdiggities Pasties & Coffee Shop

Address: 11 Charles St STE B, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“What a great little place!! Everything we tried here was fantastic! We had several sweet roll breakfast bombs and two huge cinnamon rolls. All freshly baked and delicious. Great coffee, both iced and hot. Most notable, aside from the excellent food, was the incredible service. The owner was so welcoming and friendly, and went out of her way to make sure everything was to our liking. Make sure to stop here for breakfast during a trip to deadwood.”

Taco John's

Address: 86 Charles St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was really good. Prices are not too bad. I had never been to a Taco John's before so I took my time looking at the menu. I never felt rushed by the workers. I find that hard to find when you go to a fast food place or just most places in general. Well definitely go back.”

Deadwood Miners Hotel & Restaurant

Address: 137 Charles St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Great value in Deadwood. Hotels downtown were $250 -$450 per night and this was $75. Room was clean but the bed wasn't very comfortable. Staff was very nice. Had the prime rib dinner and it was reasonable price and very good. A little ways from downtown but Deadwood isn't that big so probably less than 5 minutes to the public parking lot.”

Lucky 8 Pizzeria

Address: 196 Cliff St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

Creekside Restaurant

Address: 304 Cliff St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“We came here because the menu on google showed us a killer breakfast burrito. Evidently, it hasn’t been updated since last ownership. The menu was limited but food was very good and service was terrific. Amy was fantastic. She helped us with local attractions and such. Creekside gets a 5; google gets a zero. Let them update their search results google!”

Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar

Address: 304 Cliff St, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant Meal takeaway

“This is a good place to eat! It's nice to have another restaurant in town that's not in downtown. The menu has some fun options, and the food is tasty, but the pricing seems a little high. Gluten free crust is available for +$4. They have an abundance of toppings for a build-your-own pizza (white sauce and roasted red peppers are a win!). Service has been good every visit. They have a sports bar side and a restaurant side. Lots of seating. I would recommend eating here for good food and sports TV!”

Pizza Lab

Address: 124 US, US-14A, Central City, SD 57754, USA

Meal delivery Restaurant

“So this was our first time to try Pizza Lab, and I can tell you it's a great place for pizza! To start with I called my order in for pickup, and the gentleman that answered the phone was very pleasant and friendly. I arrived a few minutes early and the same guy was just as friendly in person. On to the pizza. I ordered an Old Faithful with jalapeno. The peños were chopped up, which we like. The sauce is very good and there is plenty of it. The toppings were all very tasty and the thin crust, which was a slight bit crispy, was awesome! If you are in Lead or the surrounding area, GO HERE!!!!”

Lotus Up Espresso & Deli

Address: 95 E Main St #3, Lead, SD 57754, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“So we were out walking this morning and decided to stop by Lotus Up and have a drink. My partner had a berry smoothie and I had a breve. Both drinks were very tasty and served quick. If you want a really good espresso drink, they still use a real machine! No super autos here! The coffee has a nice flavor, so go and enjoy! They have a cool view of the mine from the outside deck too.”

STAMPMILL Restaurant & Saloon

Address: 305 W Main St, Lead, SD 57754, USA

Restaurant

“We saw this place while walking across the street at the park and the patio drew us in. The Turkey BLT came out absolutely delicious. The bread was toasted to perfection and with each bite, smashed into the sour dough with an explosion of goodness. The water was fresh and the service was fast. Check it out, we did”

Bob's Silver Star Lounge

Address: 322 W Main St, Lead, SD 57754, USA

Restaurant

“Great time overall if you made it in before the punks of the town started crawling in. Luckily, they only come out late at night. The bartenders are awesome and friendly. The atmosphere is very calm (till the freaks come out), and the food is amazing. Could possibly use one more pool table, but otherwise, a great place.”

Wild Bill's Campground

Address: 21372 US-385, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

“This was my husbands 2nd stay and my 1st stay! We stayed in Cabin 1 and we have not a single thing to complain about. Our entire trip was phenomenal and it was made even better by the amazing owners and all the employees! We are already planning our next trip back with all our kids and our parents. We also HIGHLY recommend the food! If you haven’t stayed here you are missing out big time!”

Mystic Hills Hideaway Campground

Address: 21766 Custer Peak Rd, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“We stayed in a pull through spot. It is a spectacular location in the forest! I am so grateful to not be parked next to a highway. We have walked trails morning and night. Wild turkeys walking by in the morning and evening. Restaurant wasn't open at the lodge due to owner change and early season. UTV rentals right here for enjoying the trails.”

Fish 'N Fry Cafe'

Address: 21390 US-385, Deadwood, SD 57732, USA

Restaurant

“Sweet folks at this restaurant serves good foods. We normally cook because our food is great, but fellow campers said there food was delicious. They were right! We've had 3 tasty breakfasts here-- chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs, fresh trout, and biscuits and gravy. We don't normally eat trout, but they showed us how to debonair it, and it was amazing! We haven't had dinner here, but it's always busy.”
