Snacks el trompo loco

Address: 1622 Federal Rd, Houston, TX 77015, USA

Restaurant

“I’ve heard people say they wouldn’t try food from Resfresquerias, they would rather go to a Taqueria or Restaurant thinking they would do a better job since that is what they are based off (tacos). Well let me tell you….. OMG los Tacos de Trompo are Boooomb here I give those 5 Stars hands down. El Trompo meat is so soft and the tortillas are soft but not soggy. Also this little tortillas usually taste so weird. But maybe it’s because they cooked em next to where the meat cooks retaining the seasoned juice 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk the thing is that they were not hard they were soft and tasty. On another note, My partner ordered a Torta which she said was ok. But could have been way better with beans and a little more Mayo and Veggies. So she gave it 3 stars. We will be trying out more, specially the Fresas Con Crema and I will add another review, I didn’t add better pics of the food. Unfortunately I didn’t think about taking the pic before I ate the tacos. Til’ next time👋🏻”

Aguas Frescas And Micheladas El Jhonny

“Johnny’s is the best up-and-coming drink and taco spot. He serves large tacos stuffed with smoked brisket along with the best aguas frescas. For the kids, he has Toasty Locos, his version of elotes. You won’t find a better spot for a quick curbside treat.”

“The chicharron with guacamole is very delicious the best on the menu!! And so was the chilaquiles! The service was ok one lady was very friendly and another was very serious, seem like it bothered her to take our order. The pricing was a little over priced. When I got my ticket I was charged $5.xx for one taco of barbacoa. I had also ordered chicharron en salsa Roja, I have to admit the entrée and rice definitely needed more flavor.”

LOS MOLCAJETES RESTAURANTE & SEAFOOD BAR

Address: Houston, TX 77020, USA

Restaurant

“Excellent service 👍”

Shell

Address: 9009 Clinton Dr, Houston, TX 77029, USA

Restaurant

“I totally understand the $20 per 24 hr parking, the out of area guy like myself has more chances of finding safe parking but at least the Shell can clean up the parking and clear debris on lot. The parking area is strewn of nails and screws which can puncture tires, (get out and check if you love your tires). After finding a decent parking and paid, now had to worry if there's a hole in tire. Thanks for good parking but no thanks for nails. Great part is got a Burger King annex to it, the Whopper made my day.”

“Stopped in for a slice of pizza while waiting for our light rail train to a ball game. Loved the atmosphere, airy and relaxed. Lots of folks were playing games and the music volume was perfect for conversation. We got slices of prosciutto & pepperoni - they were ready very quickly and were DELICIOUS! The bartenders who took our order were friendly and thoughtful. 10/10 recommend. We will be back!”

“I was walking to b19 and saw this place so I decided to try for a late lunch. Despite some concerning reviews I had read before opening the door, I still thought I give it a try. I went for lobster roll at and I'm glad I did. Portion of the lobster was generous, perfectly stuffed within the bread. I personally like my lobster to be somewhat cold on top of my roll, I can't imagine warm lobster that sounds nasty. Requested fries with less salt, and they were served exactly to my liking: skinny, crispy, and plentiful. My server was professional and even the manager (or perhaps he was the director) was attentive which made my experience great. The ambience: cozy, upscale diner, calm jazz and relaxed vibe. You can park anywhere in the lot. This place seems great for solo diners like me or with friends and fam (no kids tho). Overall it wasn't like WOW must try, but i don't have anything negative to say. Didn't know it was a chain!”

Cocody

Address: 1971 W Gray St, Houston, TX 77019, USA

Restaurant

“The atmosphere and attention to detail was beautifully well done. The food was even better. Went with a large 14 person group and sat in a private room next to the kitchen (weekend dinner). Service was excellent, but the bar was a little backed up during peak service. Food: lolly's were bites of perfect flavors - my favorite was the brie & honeycomb, then the fresh tuna. Lobster bisque was flavorful and good size chunks of lobster meat. The roasted lamb was perfectly cooked medium (per my request) and the gnocci had an elevated finish of touch of salt and creaminess. Paired well with recommended cab. Flat iron steak was just a perfectly cooked steak. The fried cocody potatoes are amazing. The duck was leaner than we all were used to, but still good. Would definitely recommend for a delicious dinner experience. Especially getting to tour the kitchen and meeting Chef David. Will be back for the brie lolly's, crispy potatoes, steak, lamb, and amazing service.”

Auden

Address: 3737 Cogdell St Ste 100, Houston, TX 77019, USA

Restaurant

“Auden is a great tapas-style restaurant to satisfy your hunger. The variety of dishes they offer ensure everyone will find something they like. Perfect for small groups or individual meals. The Octopus was divinely succulent and well prepared. The brussel sprouts and milk bread were perfect. The fried mushrooms were fairly heavy and a bit oily. Their service was very friendly and helpful with questions. I would recommend ordering slow since the kitchen or staff don’t course out your order for you, so be sure to do that yourself. Their cocktails were also delicious, and want to try more. A small quaint space for a good meal, I will definitely be back to see their menu transform with time.”

MF Lobster & Ceviche

Address: 3711 Autry Pk Dr Suite 100, Houston, TX 77019, USA

Restaurant

“Near the heart of Ricer Oaks, MF Lobster and Ceviche evokes the charm of being in New England ship dock. Their oysters sourced from Massachusetts were impeccably fresh, brimming with a delightful brininess that transported me straight to the coast. The clam chowder was hearty and perfectly seasoned, with chunks of tender clams and a creamy base that balanced flavor and richness. The lobster was succulent and cooked to perfection, served with a drawn butter that elevated its natural sweetness. Lastly, the seabream crudo offered a refreshing contrast, with its delicate slices of fish dressed in a bright citrus marinade. Every dish showcased the best of New England's seafood, making for a memorable and delicious meal.”

Zanti Cucina Italiana - River Oaks

Address: 1958 W Gray St Suite 101, Houston, TX 77019, USA

Restaurant

“came for a dinner, sat in the outdoor patio overlooking palm trees. food quality is great, taste is amazing, quantity - medium plates. we did pizza, pasta and desserts. margarita and gnocchi was really good. ravioli was okayish. both desserts were spot on. lava cake was exceptional. ambiance, plating, service is very high end, and exquisite. you can do a casual vibe outside or intimate cozy vibe inside. i’d highly recommend for a date night.”

Annabelle Brasserie

Address: 811 Buffalo Pk Dr #100, Houston, TX 77019, USA

Restaurant

“Literally one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Everything was top notch from start to finish. The raclette was a fun and unique bread service experience to start the meal and every dish that followed was beyond amazing all the way through desert. Highly recommend this place for a fancy dinner date, anniversary or birthday outing. You won't be disappointed!”

Flora

Address: 3422 Allen Pkwy, Houston, TX 77019, USA

Restaurant

“if I could rate this place a thousand I would. Not only is it beautiful, but it has some of, if not, THE best authentic Mexican food. I love the presentation, the attention to detail, and the taste of the food. We ordered the guacamole and chips to start off and they were so delicious we had to do another round. They were perfectly crispy and the guac was fresh and savory. Perfectly seasoned too. For entree I ordered the Barbacoa- it was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious. The sides were also flavorful and very yum. Drink wise- I order an espresso martini and it might be one of the best ones I’ve had. It was perfect. The ambience is surreal. The chandeliers add so much character and elevate the space so beautifully. Lastly, our waiter was super attentive and fast and made sure everything came out on time! I will definitely be coming back!”

Cooking Girl

Address: 1717 Montrose Blvd, Houston, TX 77006, USA

Restaurant

“The parking lot in front of the restaurant is small, but additional parking is available. The seating area is pleasant and adequate for the size of the business. They have a large selection of food and a full bar. The wait staff service was excellent, and wait time for food after ordering was almost non-existent. We ordered the food, and within the next 5 minutes, they started bringing out plate after plate of food once the were being maid. With 10 minutes, we had all of our food delivered to the table. The food itself was excellent, my wife loved the eggplant dish, and I loved the noodles. We were very surprised with this little hidden gem and will be going back.”

Della Coffee

Address: 1000 W Gray St #100, Houston, TX 77019, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Very cute new coffee shop! Their coffee was absolutely delicious. I'd rank it in my top 3 cold brews I've had in Houston. Aside from the great coffee, the staff were super friendly. They gave my dog a cup of whipped cream without me even asking, just as a kind gesture! The space is very neat and aesthetically pleasing. Excited to have this in my neighborhood!”

Balboa Surf Club

Address: 1753 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056, USA

Restaurant

“Nice place, reminds me of Houston's in the way they designed. Food was great, had the spicy tuna sushi, and Chicken salad. Both delicious. Service was great, our waitress was super nice and friendly. Hostess was very nice and welcoming. Manager came to our table, and she was super nice and cleaned our table. Atmosphere is chill, went during the day, sat on the patio, nice breeze. Only thing is it smells funny on the patio. Maybe need more attention on that matter. Menu is ok in selections but also could be better in terms of variety. Parking is free, and the valet is available. Recommend this place for business lunch.”

Kenny & Ziggy's New York Delicatessen

Address: 1743 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“So we went to Kenny & Ziggy's for lunch the other day, and it was phenomenal. This is by far my favorite deli in Houston! We ordered the roast beef sandwich, the two meat platter with double pastrami, a bagel with lox, and a salad, which was awesome, but I currently don't remember the name. All the portions here are huge and uber fresh and well worth the money. The roast beef sandwich was spectacular, super moist, and savory. The lox was extremely fresh and of superior grade, but their pastrami is the bomb! It was super lean and cooked and seasoned perfectly. Every bite was a little piece of heaven. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a great meal in the Houston area. Their menu has over 100 items to choose from, and all their pastries, breads, meats, and salads are made in-house. In addition, they have a great soda and milkshake counter as well as an extended bar capable of serving the most discerning client. Overall, it is a great location with an excellent staff.”
