“They’re now in the Burlington area! 🥳 Missed them when they were in Essex, was able to enjoy two trips when they moved to Colchester and now they’re almost next door to me 👏🏻👏🏻 We love their smoked meats, chili is a lot better and service just as awesome as always. This time the dining area is not as ample but just as cozy. Highly recommend!”

“Fantastic Korean food. I have enjoyed a lot of Korean food in my life and this place was up there with some of my favorites. So glad to have this place in VT! We ordered Spicy Tteokbokki, Golden Original Korean Fried Chicken with French Fries, and the Korean Rose Udon with Shrimp. The soups/sauces were incredible and the fried chicken was fried to perfection. The only thing that didn't blow my mind was the fries which were just average. Cute shop and great location. There isn't much seating inside so be prepared to take your food to go and have it at home.”

“I am a REGULAR at the Spot at Hula & I’ve been impressed with their quality of food/service since the start of my membership! I’ve always loved their other locations, but I actually think this one is the BEST. The food is incredible delicious, the portions are perfect, they have tons of options & really stellar specials that use local offerings. The staff has always been lovely & the atmosphere is truly top notch. You might as well be having lunch at Venice Beach! The music / playlist vibes also brighten up my day each time. Plus! You can online order ahead & get a text when it’s ready which is PERFECT for those busy meeting days! My only complaint is that I wish they had takeout containers (which I believe they don’t do for environmental reasons) & that I wished they were open longer 🤣 highly recommend!”

“If you have lived in Vermont long enough, you know the importance of finding a good cafe that serves delicious food and has a great ambience. We had a wonderful experience in this hidden gem of a place, I was initially not sure what to expect as the name focuses on ice-cream which was absolutely amazing, we left with few different flavors. But we also enjoyed grilled cheese croissants, these were cooked to perfection. I had a grilled cheese croissant with swiss cheese and eggs in it..oh my God..just heavenly. My wife had her grilled cheese croissant with caramlized apples and bacon crumbles..she loved it! We also had jerk chicken soup with our croissants, steamy, slightly spicy..yummy. Then we got raspberry muffins with nuts..this place doesn't fail to impress you. The owner stopped by and said hello to us..what a sweet and friendly person to meet, he was courteous and making sure everyone was enjoying their food..now that says a lot about why this place is so amazing. Definitely check it out...it's right off of Williston Road, we will definitely be back.”

“Biscuit in the Basket is a conventional breakfast and grilled sandwich shop launched by Andrew Kneale of Harrison's fame in the Jackson Skate Arena in Stowe. I didn't try the food but I watched an order of chicken tenders and fries go out. Ample in size ,freshly made with a thin batter,I could see the quality of the food. Then the chef came out and I think that I recognized him as one of the people in the kitchen at the Malt Shop,a popular institution that Andrew''s Mother,Kathy, ran for years. The Malt Shop was my no 1 go to place for soups, sundaes, fries, burgers and grilled sandwiches. The atmosphere at Biscuit in the Basket is community and family. As is tradition, the Kneale family for generations have been involved in the restaurant business in Stowe. Andrew's children were working the counter. Addison, his beautiful daughter was handing out orders while his son wearing a Stowe Raiders hockey sweater was learning the use of the blender. I am going back when hockey season is in full swing. I have included a copy of the full menu for readers to better evaluate.”

“I was here for a private party. I helped with the setup, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our food selection was limited to apps for the party. They were very good. Great selection of beers, and they made a very good marguerita. Sadly, the party was a going away party for a couple we know, so our return to the area is not that likely. It's not that sad though cause our friends are moving closer to us. If you go here and you like falafel have it. You can't go wrong.”

“If you are even remotely close to this place GO! The food is insanely delicious. The quality and attention to detail in the food is top tier. The atmosphere is romantic, cozy and all the things you want. You can tell everyone loves working there and loves the food and takes pride in their work. I can’t rave enough about the quality of ingredients. The short ribs are a must, a religious experience in your mouth. But make sure to save room for dessert because chef Sam has put her heart and soul into it.”

“Nice meal with room for improvement. The food was very good and high quality, a few dishes including the steak needed a pinch more salt. Drinks from the bar were painfully slow, one came 25 minutes after I’d ordered and was not made as well as the same thing I’d ordered earlier in the meal. My wife ordered the port flight for dessert and instead got the dessert wines which they happily replaced but we’d finished dessert before it was all sorted out. We ordered three desserts but only two showed up. The third wasn’t on our bill but we did want to try it. The restaurant was busy even early Saturday evening and the staff seemed to be scrambling. We’ll be back but for the cost hope the experience improves a bit. A nice addition to Shelburne.”

“The back patio was beautiful and I loved the mocktail options. They were able to accommodate us on a Friday night and the service was excellent. Cabot mac and cheese and chicken in maple cream sauce with seasonal veggies.”

“Clean. Unable to use debit card here. Clerk was terse and semi-angry despite not being overworked at the moment (No other customers in the store). The junkshop guy nearby was friendly as always though.”

“This was the star of our trip. We drove from Cape Cod specifically to experience VL. What a gem. Tucked away on a cutie pie street in an equally cutie pie town. The setting is bucolic and VL is the bomb. Inside, the bakers are creating amazing sweet and savory treats. I honestly cannot remember what our treats were called but they were divine. My partner had Turkish eggs and this fluffy bread. Don't ask, just GO. Mad love for VL.”

“Fell in LOVE this morning. Best Heuvos Rancheros I’ve ever had. Flavorful red sauce, perfectly runny eggs, and the refried beans! All of it was amazing. I’m not from Montpelier and only stumbled upon this gem on accident while looking for a place to get a drink nearby, during an emergency DMV trip. I may have went a LITTLE crazy and ordered two slices of Tres Leche and some flan as well as Horchata and Hibiscus Agua Fresca to share with family. BEST. HORCHATA. EVER. I will definitely make the 45 minute drive just for more Arandas.”

“A visit to Morse Farm is the quintessential Vermont experience. The brief tour/introduction about making maple syrup and maple syrup tasting are so well done. We came in during a rainy day with only a small crowd but the staff still greeted us warmly and showed us around. Great place.”

“I attended my niece’s wedding at the Mad River Barn and I enjoyed the whole event very much. The staff did an excellent job attending to the guests. It was a full service facility, with outdoor areas for the ceremony and open air bar and a large covered area for the reception. The bar area in the inn was great for before event activities and after hours activities. The owner, Andy, took an keen interest in the entire event and checked on his guests personally. I enjoyed myself tremendously. Nice job. Since I didn’t stay in any of the rooms, I didn’t rate them.”

“We ordered several entrees for a family party and they did not disappoint! The Macaroni and cheese was a favorite and so were the Maple Bourbon Meatballs. The food was ready on time and even delivered to my car. We have another event in September and will be using them again!”
