“The Good: All of the food was delicious; my party of 8 ordered several items, including a large meat lovers pizza, a tour of Italy, garlic and mozzarella sticks, calzone, and all were great. The staff was also very friendly and worked fast to get us served. The Bad: I had seen from another comment that the place was hot, in terms of the atmosphere, and I had my doubts, however, I can confirm that it did felt considerably warm inside. Which makes for an uncomfortable dining experience, especially because you’re eating hot food. The fact that the place is hot also makes everything you touch feel like it’s sticky (floor, table, etc.).”

“On a recent trip from Ruidoso Downs to Buchanan Dam, we decided to stop at Geli’s Mexican Restaurant, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with great service. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a taco plate, chiles rellenos, queso dip, chips, and salsa. The queso was absolutely wonderful—creamy and flavorful, perfect for dipping the fresh, crispy chips. The salsa was excellent, with a perfect balance of spice and freshness. The taco plate was really good, with each taco packed with well-seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The rice and beans on the side complemented the tacos perfectly. However, the star of the meal was undoubtedly the chiles rellenos. They were the best we've had so far, cooked to perfection with a delicious filling and a perfectly crispy exterior. A charming highlight of our visit was being served sopapillas by a young girl, who we believe is the owner’s daughter. She was about 10 or 12 years old and was incredibly cute and sweet, adding a personal touch to our meal. Overall, our visit to Geli’s was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip through the area.”

“The day staff is great!! Especially the young Latino guy (I believe his name is Giovanni) but there is 1-2 guys who work overnight that always close the doors from about 1:30 am until like 3 am every night they work. It's frustrating because it's the closest store to me and should be a quick run to a 24 hour store but it's always closed during these times. So I waited for about 20 mins tonight and the guy comes out the back to let a woman in but when I went to the door he told me they're closed until 2:40 am for inventory and the woman was an employee. This is the main guy who closes every night he works and usually when they're closed these guys come out the bathroom (this is not the first time I waited to see how long they took to open back up). I used to work at an ampm and I worked the overnight shift and I know it was not allowed to close because we were a 24 hour location.”

When I tell you if I'm craving anything from tacos, burritos, fries, or whatever in between I only think of this guy's truck! It's really that good! All the meat is always tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned!! He's my one stop shop for anything Hispanic!! I have never had a bad experience from here, he's such an awesome and genuine dude and you can tell he loves cooking from the very first bite you take! “This place is a very standard Chinese food restaurant. The portions are massive, which is probably the best reason to come. The prices are typical. Fried rice is okay, but the noodle are pretty plain and don't have much to them. The meats are all fine, with a large selection, but they lack seasoning or flavor. I usually order chicken teriyaki without the sauce and put Sambal on it and that's my go to.”
