“Great little Ramen shop with authentic feel. Rivals some of the best ramen we had during our recent travels to Japan. Portions were huge and all full of flavor and variety of fresh vegetables. We also added the well reviewed garlic popcorn chicken which my son said was some Of the best he’s ever had. Fries were great, perfect fry and flavor dusted with Old Bay type salt! Thanks so much, great service and wonderful quality!”

“I really enjoyed the egg rolls they were fresh and the sauce really complemented them well. I just think $10.50 is pricey for 3 egg rolls. The chicken wings were also great, very sweet and crunchy the way I like them. Only thing is I did have the Pho and it was very bland. I felt like the green onions over powered it. Could definitely use some salt.”

“I wanted to like this place but really I can't give it five stars. The shrimp are pieces of shrimp or little shrimps formed into a circle that make it look like it's a big shrimp which is weird and has a strange consistency. I had to look at it closely to make sure it was even shrimp. The macaroni salad was good I really liked it The meal I got came with the shrimp the macaroni salad two scoops of rice which I should have said don't give me cuz I don't eat the rice and steamed vegetables. The steamed vegetables were two small pieces of broccoli. So yeah I won't be back for 14 bucks this just wasn't my thing. That's what having a shrimp craving will do to you make you pick the first place you come to and then the shrimp or subpar”

“I was a bit skeptical about stopping by this spot because of the connotation of King Kong dim sum (the business that golden bay banquet took over). As I didn't have a good experience. But to my great surprise, the food has improved so much and from my understanding, they have another location in union city! For the price and flavor of the food, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. However, if you are looking for new and modern dim sum dishes I wouldn't say that golden bay would provide that experience. They have more of the old and traditional dishes. Some of my favorite items and highly recommend yall to order would be: - deep fried taro root (not vegetarian - has pork intermixed) - pan fried leek gor - baked durian puff (i really appreciate this spot's version bc usually it has a small lingering taste of bitterness at other spots but this spot is fireee) tips: - VERY limited parking so be prepared for street parking on the busy E14th street or on the side parking inside the neighborhood areas - relatively quick service id say but at the same time your ordering would be through a wipable menu with an expo marker”

“A+. Interesting menu mix. We started with the tacos and will need to make a return trip for several other items. They don’t cheat you on the portions. It is great to have great food choices within walking distance.”

“I was excited to try here and it was very good! The sandwich was crunch on the outside, yet soft & juicy inside. I tried the avocado coffee, and it was surprisingly really good. Spoke to the owners, and he explained that he brings his beans from Vietnam! Coffee is a must try if you enjoy Vietnamese style drinks!”

“We got 2 orders of the quesabirria tacos, and rice and beans. We were three people and it was more than enough. It was so good the consomme it comes with is so flavorful. If you like your food spicy, add the salsas but also add some chili oil.... perfection!”

“Yeah the service isn’t great but the food is! Especially for the price. Had the basic three item bento with teriyaki chicken, sashimi, and California roll. But all the bentos were good. Short ribs were yummy! Costs a little more. Hamachi Don came with big pieces of fish. Other rolls were good too. Miso soup had unique taste compared to what I’m used to. Really didn’t disappoint. I’m going back soon.”

“Got the chicken little sandwich regular size. Filled me up to where last 2 bites were extra but I ate it anyway because it was good. A lot of options for sandwiches. Will have to try other sandwiches later. Small seating area. Very busy lunch time. People lined up for food that’s why didn’t take pictures. There is a parking lot with decent parking spots.”

“Very busy place. I had Thai noodles 🍜. It was a huge amount and in my opinion, good but not that good. I wouldn't order it again. Server was really nice. We loved the Brussels sprouts.”

“This is my 2nd visit to Cherie's and (most of) the food is delicious!! Also, the owners are there and they are extremely friendly and polite. The fried catfish is very good and several of us had the candied yams which are yummy, but their highlight (so far) on the menu is their oxtails, rice and gravy. EXCELLENT!!! And I love that they have grape Koolaid as a drink! The only disappointment is their mac'n cheese. The cheese isn't mixed thoroughly into the macaroni so once you eat the top, there's no more cheese! Also, don't be in a hurry because the wait for your food is a little long, but the food makes it worth the wait!”

“Lovely ambience. I had sandwich and gulab jamun & they reminded me of the real taste of the food from India. Gulab Jamun had so much of freshness & was one of the best I had in ages in US. Loved the authentic taste and freshness!”

“This place is amazing! Restaurant it's is very clean. I'm on a very restrictive diet and have been looking for a meal prep place to help me that fits my diet and once I walked in there and met with Jason and it was a done deal! Jason is very professional and knowledgeable on all the foods and took the time to review my diet information from the doctor and work to build a list of meals and options. So far everything I had tried has been delicious. If you want meats unseasoned as well, that's a option. The Tti Tip is amazing, the chicken thigh. EVERYTHING. The sweet potato mashed... Unbelievable!!! And prices are very affordable. They also support the military and office a discount. I HIGHLY Recommend checking them out. You will NOT be disappointed. If you are...... I hope you get over it! 😂 All jokes aside, I'm 1 happy customer.”

“Delicious! The rice is what you want, fluffy and not mushy. Yummy fish and toppings. The pickled cucumber, shiitake mushrooms and picked daikon have great textures and flavors. The server was kind, generous with time (my first time there) and made my order how I requested (put all fish and toppings to the side so my child can have some pristine rice). She seemed to genuinely care about my eating experience! I cant wait to come back!”

“Great food and generous portions! I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of my food. They have an affordable special going on right now for like $10 you get chow mein or rice plus two entrees. My husband and I both got chowmein. It had good flavor, green onions and wasn't too greasy. The noodles were cooked perfectly. My husband got Sichuan spicy chicken and it was so flavorful and very spicy! The sweet and sour chicken was delicious with perfect breading and flavor! I had the mapo tofu that was cooked to perfection where it was more chewy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sauce was soooo good!! Also had the beef & broccoli, I like that they made sure to put large beef pieces! We shared a BBQ beef bun and soup dumplings which were delicious.Overall great food and good service. We went to eat it upstairs on the stools and fully enjoyed our delicious lunch.”

“If opportunity arises, drop into CV Marketplace... especially Oculto restaurant on the second floor... excellent menu with a variety of wines and cocktails and attentive staff. Family friendly place but also good for couples and the lone ranger. Enjoy!”

“Hector welcomed us as if we were part of his family and made us a pot of fresh coffee. There is plenty of parking, the restaurant is traditionally decorated and extremely clean, there’s minimum wait to be served, the portions are pretty big: delicious Guadalajara cuisine taste, I just hope they introduce pan dulce or some more desserts besides flan to the menu other than that our first time visiting was great. Thank you for your warm smiles.”

“New Indian restaurant in Castro Valley - delectable food, great ambience and service. The food is very well presented and is lip-smacking!!! It is not a run-of-the-mill Indian restaurant, the menu is selective and the food really delivers. A must-try spot!”

“Much larger variety than they had on Jackson. Hard to find specialties with a small but good selection of wines from Europe and Middle-East. Some bulk spices and herbs. Friendly staff and a very clean space.”

“Newly opened Chinese restaurant, Their location is convenient, Right next to the 99 ranch market, and with a free large parking lot. Their signature Hainan chicken with rice is great. Service is excellent, too. Since they are still in "soft opening", have been told some of the items in menu may not be available yet. Overall they are worth to try. Keep up the good work.”

“Placed 2 orders for curbside pickup. My husband picked up one of the orders but didn’t check for the second, even though he asked if the 3 items were there and the worker said yes. I think it’s both the workers faults and my husbands for not double checking. But I called the store and they delivered the missing pizza and covered the delivery fee as good customer service.”
